If you get too frustrated with cartridges, I do suggest trying out direct dripping. About 95% of us on this forum probably direct drip. The other 5% will eventually get there. LOL Sorry to hear about all the bad stuff that just happened. Hopefully everything is alright.

Nice to meet you also. I started off with the manual battery, which Chris already explained why it's better than the auto battery. I've recently moved on to a battery mod called The Spade. It's a little larger than the regular 510 batteries, but it provides a much longer battery life. But as a beginner I think you'll be good with a normal 510 starter kit. It's about the size of an analog cigarette so you won't be so subconscious about using it in public. At least that's how it was for me. Eventually I just stopped caring and just bring the spade with me everywhere.

haha yeah it was planned. I found this in an article and it said they prepped their phones before the ceremony. Pretty geeky if you ask me, but it's pretty funny LOL.

Welcome Link. I have a Janty Stick but don't use it much since I have the spade now. Only advice I can think of at the moment would be to try and get your hands on some Low Bridge 801 attys. I haven't tried them myself, but I heard they're awesome.

Yeah we really haven't seen you around much lately huh? Welcome back! I haven't reached that point yet where I can't taste the flavors anymore though. But it's cuz I have so many different flavors just laying around. I switch it up quite often. I started a list of my favorites so I can order a bunch of those when I get around to it. I haven't checked out arno's site in awhile. So he has more flavors now? You make cream sound so interesting, I'll have to check that out soon.

That's awesome news Brandy. Can't wait to hear what you think about it. And yeah, don't pay attention to the instructions saying to charge it for 8 hours or whatever. There's a whole story as to how those instructions got there, but don't worry about it. When the light turns green, you're good to go.

Wow, you really went on a shopping spree didn't you? Well it sounds like you did your research before buying. Awesome Vapor and Electonicstix are very reputable suppliers. They'll make sure to take care of you if anything happens. You'll definitely be good with the Joye510. That's the model I have been using for several months now. I've tried most other models and the 510 is definitely one of the best. I'm sure you'll have some questions once you get started, so don't hesitate to ask. I can't wait to hear how it works out for you!

hahahaha! Wow. Great idea, but that thing can definitely get you in trouble if taken out in public. It just doesn't look right. But hey if it works it works. I'd say keep it for home use. Now the question is, how do you know how many drops you've actually got on the atty? I can see some possible flooding happen.

Looks like nana did give you the simple answer. I would do some research on passthroughs first before you decide on which one to buy though. I know a lot of the chinese-made passthroughs are pretty much crap and not worth wasting your money on. I would recommend getting the VP Passthrough. It's American made and well built. It might be a bit strong for beginners because it runs at a higher voltage than ecig batteries, so just be a bit careful at first. A bit pricier than the chinese PTs, but well worth the money. It comes with a bunch of accessories including a wall adapter, so it might be something you're looking for. Hope this helps.

I thought you had one LOL. I think my banner is what keeps me from giving in to temptation. I don't want to have to reset it. That and a friend of mine would put me on a huge guilt trip :rofl:

The Dulcis tastes similar to RY4, but I think RY4 is a little bit sweeter. Dulcis has a bit more of a tobacco flavor in it.

Good luck trying to find a juice to match your analog flavor. It's really hard to find since vaping is so much different than smoking. Nothing is actually burning, so you won't get that smokey flavor out of it. I personally like vaping better because you can actually taste the flavors. As for your question about what flavors to drip together, I'd say go with the same rules as drinks you would drink. If you don't think they'd taste good together as a drink, then don't mix it...unless you want to be experimental of course. You pretty much got the idea. Mix coffee flavors together, or anything that would go with milk I guess. Coffee, chocolate, caramel etc. All the fruit flavors pretty much go together. Then there's some universal ones like menthol. Menthol is really hard to get off your atty if you want to switch flavors, but it actually goes good if mixed with most flavors. Hope this helps.

I noticed the increase in vapor too, which is really weird. It sucks because that last puff is the best at first, but if you keep dragging you'll get a sudden burst of burnt metal taste.

I think it depends on where you got your 510 from. Most of my attys came from a chinese supplier and I noticed the flavor isn't completely there. Heck they're not even vaping that well. Well some of them are, but not all of them. I bought them in bulk thinking I could save some money, but I think I wasted money because the ratio of good and bad attys is dumb. But! I think the 510 atty that came with the spade rocks. It produced great vapor and still held the flavor really well. I can't really speak for durability at the moment because I let a friend borrow it in hopes that he will switch over to vaping. So for now, I'm putting up with the crappy chinese attys I have. I hope to put in an order through the VT Store for more 510 attys after the new year. Edit: Forgot to mention, the 510 atty that came with the spade is a Janty. The ones I got from china are supposedly Joye. At least that's what they claim. Also, from what I understand Janty is made by Joye..or something like that. I forget the reasoning behind it too. Maybe someone else can shine some light on this?
