  1. I think 1 month is the average life span for most atomizers. I really don't know since I rotate and clean my attys regularly. I also buy new ones before the older ones go out and I just stash the old ones away.
  2. Hi Lori. Cartomizers were meant to be disposable, that's why they don't last as long as regular atomizers. They are way cheaper too, most places you'll find cartomizers costing about $10 for a pack of 5 as opposed to about $10 for 1 regular atomizer.

  4. I've never ordered from cignot.com, but I agree with dayvape. You really can't go wrong with the ego. It's my go to device and wish it came out sooner.

  8. There's actually different techniques and I think it'll be hard to explain in writing. There's a video tutorial I came across awhile back made by igetcha, one of the members here. Haven't seen him online in a long time though. Here's a link to his video tutorial page: http://www.e-cig-reviews.com/tutorial%20videos.html Hope this helps. Edit: man, jeff beat me to it. lol
  9. bookmarked...thanks!
  10. I agree with thebeckster, cheapy starter kits that sell for $150 are complete scams. Unfortunately, not everyone does their research when they first start out and end up falling for them. Sad to say I was one of them lol. With enough research and experience you learn that genuine brands at cheaper prices actually have better quality.
  11. Oh no...what's wrong with charging via computer? Will it damage it somehow?
  12. That doesn't sound normal at all. The charge should only be 2 hours max I think. I just got my ego a few days ago, so I haven't had much time to experience weird things with charging. But 5 hours is way too long. I'd probably do some tests, maybe try that battery out and see how it performs. Try charging it again once you've used it up and see if it still takes 5 hours. Test the other battery and see how long it takes to charge that one. Try and figure out if it's the charger or that battery with the problem. It could just be a fluke, you never know. If it keeps happening, then contacting the supplier would be best. Hope this helps.
  13. Holy moly..that flashlight is crazy! I wouldn't really have a use for it, but I want one. lol
  14. Hey Bigjim. Yes this stuff can get kinda confusing. Let me try to clear things up a bit. Originally, ecigs were designed to have a cartridge that holds liquid, which you are referring to as a mouth piece. It would hold a lot more than 2-3 drops. I'm not exactly sure how much liquid it holds as I have not used a cartridge in a long time. It's supposed to last you about a packs worth of analogs I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Like I said I haven't used cartridges in awhile lol. Most people find that cartridges just don't work all that great, so we've come up with direct dripping. This is a technique where you drip 2-3 drops directly onto the atomizer. Not the mouth piece. You get about 5 good puffs then you repeat. Hence our slogan...drip, vape, repeat. Now there's these new things called cartomizers, which I have yet to try myself. It's a 1 piece atomizer/cartridge combo that's aimed at keeping things low maintenance. They are meant to be disposable, so once it's finished you just throw it out. I've heard you can refill it though, about 3 times before it completely goes bad. And yes, this just screws right onto the battery. Hope this helped a little and not confused you even more.
  15. A T-tip is a custom made mouth piece used in place of the cartridge. It's hallow so you can drip right through it without having to take it off. I don't have one myself, but I've been meaning to get one. Here's a link the supplier posted earlier this month announcing his new wide-mouth design. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/topic/4999-all-new-wide-mouth-t-tips-now-availabe/
  16. It would be best to contact the supplier where it was purchased from it was purchased from.
  17. Ooooh man! Thanks for the review. I went and checked out their site to look at their flavors. The last on their list is Taro! My favorite Boba flavor. Definitely going to have to put an order in for that. =)
  18. Hi miatafrank. You will need to copy and paste the BBcode that it gives you into your signature. You can do this a couple of ways. One way is to click on your name on a post and it will take you to your profile. There will be a button on the right that says "Edit My Profile". Click that and it will take you to another screen with several options. Click on "Change Signature" and paste the BBcode of the smoke free banner into the field that shows up. Hit "Save Changes" and you're good to go. Hope this helps. =)
  19. Yeah, battery life on standard ecig batteries aren't that great. For longer battery life you'll want to check out battery mods like the janty ego or spade. Direct dripping is when you put drops directly on the atomizer instead of filling a cartridge. Check out this how-to video http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?/videos/view-19-what-is-direct-dripping/
  20. Welcome to the forum Matt! I'm not sure what brand you got, but DSE901 is the model. Personally not my favorite, but there are a lot of people here that swear by it. It does perform well though compared to most other models. As for the Marlboro flavor, it's normal that it doesn't taste like Marlboro. Vaping is different than smoking, so it's near impossible to create flavors that match analog cigarette flavors. If you're getting almost an hour of vaping from 4-5 drops, that's really really good. Most of us here direct drip and with 3 drops I only get about 1 to 2 analogs worth of vape time. If you check out the supporting suppliers forum you'll find most of the reputable vendors. My favorites are vaportalkstore.com and awesomevapor.com.
  21. Wow that is just crazy.I don't know how you do it. Jeff, stop bugging Chris. hehe
  22. Hi HyOnLyph. I'm not sure if you know, but all e-cig equipment are made in China. Even products from USA suppliers come from China, with the exception of the USA made custom mods. The benefit of ordering from a USA supplier is the customer service. If you have any issues, you're much more likely to get taken care of right away. There are China suppliers that are said to have good customer service as well, but you have to deal with long wait time and cost on shipping if you needed to send something back. Not to mention there's a possibility of your order being held at customs. I have personally ordered from heaven-gifts.com and have had no issues. I ordered my first 510 kit from them along with spare atomizers in bulk. All products worked great and I never had to return anything.
  23. Yup, sounds like what happened to my v2. It worked fine for a day, then the button just started acting stupid. I'd contact the supplier for an exchange.
  24. @ FloridaKracker congrats man. Almost forgot about you how you been? lol @FT Joe Chris changes the requirements to get into the VIP room every time you get closer. He'll change it to 1500 when you hit 1000. haha
