  1. I was debating whether to get the VP1 or the Vapre 51, but I guess they're the same thing. I wonder why you're getting more vapor out of the Vapre 51 though. You're mentioning the airflow thing. Does your VP1 have the adjustable airflow on it and the option was removed on the Vapre51 that you got?
  2. I think what really helped me quit analogs was that my last pack was not my usual brand that I smoke. I don't even remember what it was, I just bought it because it was new and I wanted to try it. I started vaping and if I ever wanted an analog I'd smoke one from that pack. So because it wasn't my usual brand, I already didn't like the taste and didn't satisfy me at all. Eventually, all I did was vape and that pack just sat there getting stale. I just ended up throwing it away a few weeks later and I never bought a pack of analogs again. So, that might be something to try if you really want to get off analogs. Buy a pack you wouldn't normally smoke. Worth a shot, no?
  3. hahaha...the baby isn't due on 5/10 is it? Joye 5/10
  4. Thanks jmhester. That's weird...I wonder why it doesn't work on your 801 auto batteries.
  5. Glad to hear everything is fine. I think I saw the ultrasound video. That's where Ashley started laughing and she couldn't stop right? lol
  6. LOL! How is everything anyway? Haven't heard anything about the Vapor Talk Baby in awhile.
  7. That seems to be the problem with some attys. You'll get a few bad ones here and there. But you say it's still new, so maybe it just needs to be broken in. Some attys take a little more time than others. I'd say keep using it and see if gets better. If it doesn't then it wouldn't hurt to try and contact the vendor. Depending on where you bought it from, they may send you a replacement. Where did you buy it from anyway?
  8. Hey Sinikal, where'd you buy the 510 adapter? I don't see it on dietsmokes.
  9. Janty is actually a brand name. In the post you were replying to, Sinikal was actually referring to the janty 'stick' which is a battery mod for the 801 atty. There are adapters for the 901 and 510 attys that can be used on the janty stick. Now the janty you are talking about that looks like the 510 is the Janty Dura. The Janty Dura IS actually the 510, so there is no difference. Hope this helps.
  10. I've found that my favorite time to vape is while watching TV or a movie at home. I think it's because I was never able to do this with analog cigarettes. I don't know about you guys, but for some reason I get a sudden urge to want to smoke when I see someone light up a cigarette in a movie. Vaping does just the trick to satisfy that craving lol.
  11. For blowing out the attys I just wrap the whole thing in a paper towel and blow through the battery side. This way my lips don't touch the atty directly. I've never used and kind of liquids to clean my attys so I can't help you there.
  12. I'm from Nevada and I've been sending out these emails. I also got one of my coworkers to send an email as well. It can only help because it shows that other states show concern also.
  13. Did you guys get Halo 3 ODST? That game is bomb. We need to get some rounds of Fire Fight in.
  14. If you're talking about the batteries that came with the kit then no the passthru does not charge those batteries. The passthru does have it's own battery though, attached to a usb cable that charges it. Not too sure about this since I don't have one, but you can detach it from the computer and it will still work given the battery is charged.
  15. haha...I have no idea when I'll be in socal again, but I'll be sure to hit you up.
  16. Just thought I'd share my current favorite alcoholic beverage with you guys: the Mocha Tini from Tini Bigs Big Martinis in Seattle, WA. I was never into martinis, but my perspective completely changed after visiting this place with my friends while on vacation back in March earlier this year. I guess Tini Bigs is known for their unique martini recipes. I always thought martinis were just straight up vodka with an olive in it...lol. But I guess there's different ways to make a martini. The Mocha Tini is a mix of Finladia Vodka (2 1/2 ounces), Starbucks coffee liqueur (1 ounce) and Godiva chocolate liqueur (1 ounce) "Shaken, not stirred"...lol then topped with whipped cream and garnished with espresso beans. Hella strong at first, you can definitely taste the vodka. Then the mocha/chocolate taste kicks in for an after-taste. Here's a photo I took of it before I drank it: I think Tini Bigs has about 50 unique martinis and they sell a book with all the recipes so you can make them at home. Yeah...I bought it lol. I'm actually at home now and that's what I'm drinking...pretty much the reason why I'm writing this post. Here's a photo of my attempt to make the drink: Looks nothing like the original...haha. But hey, I think it still tastes great. Another drink I think they're famous for is the Spanish Tini. I don't think it's on their menu, you just have to know about it and they'll make it for you. I can understand why since it looks complicated to make and only some of the bartenders know how to make it. I'm not going to write the whole recipe, but basically they caramelize a martini glass by rimming it with sugar, pouring some 151 in it and lighting it on fire. While the glass is still on fire they sprinkle nutmeg and cinnamon on it creating sparks and making the fire bigger. The process looks pretty crazy, wish I had a video of it. I have yet to try making this drink. I really don't know what my point was in writing this post, but if any of you go to Seattle anytime soon I highly recommend going to Tini Bigs. Great place..great martinis. Currently vaping with Vapor Talk's Cappuccino juice and it just tastes awesome with the Mocha Tini. LOL Alright...going back to vaping and drinking my Mocha Tini. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
  17. Electronic cigarettes are usually referred to as e-cigarettes or e-cigs. I think a more correct term would be Personal Vaporizer, or PV for short. You'll find some people using this term on forums. In person, I like calling it just a vaporizer though. Personal Vaporizer is too long...and some people might not know what PV stands for. Not really sure if there are any other names for it, but there could be.
  18. I haven't had that experience with the 510 attys so I don't know what to say there. I heard there was a bad batch floating around, so that may be the case. Don't quote me on that though. As for the Janty Stick, how long have you been using it? The 801 atty takes quite a bit of time to break in, maybe even a few days. Mine was leaking quite a bit at first too, but now that the atty is broken in it's not leaking nearly as much. It's normal for it to leak anyway and the way the JS is built it's fine since it doesn't ruin anything or get on your hands. I find myself dripping up to 5 drops in the atty with no problems. Lasts me like half an hour too with no leaking. Oh and not sure if you know, but when the JS is plugged in it works as a passthrough. My favorite part about it, you can vape it while it's charging. It's so convenient, I haven't even used my second battery yet. The way the battery cover is, I think it would be a pain to always have to open that to change the battery. For a car charger, you may want to look into a car usb power adapter. There's a lot out there so I don't know the best one. OOooOoo...actually found this right now http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9875849. It doubles as a wall charger AND a car charger. Kinda neat. I don't know how dependable it is though. Like I said I just found it right now, but it got 3 stars on that site. Hope this helps...
  19. Yup yup. I had a similar experience when I first got my JS. The first one I got was defective right out of the box. The button didn't work all the time and would get jammed sometimes. Took over 2 weeks to get a reply back from Parked, but he did send me a new one that's working great with no problems. The atty is well broken in now too, so I'm really enjoying it. Great consistent vapor and flavor. I do still have a problem with the button not engaging sometimes, but not nearly as bad as the first one. Only happens like once or twice a day and I can deal with that. You're right though, it doesn't feel very durable. I feel like I'll break the button if I press too hard and dropping it will definitely cause some damage. Those VPs do look durable though. Made with steel instead of plastic like the JS. I plan on getting one as well in the next month or so. But for now, I'm happy with my JS. Sorry about your experiences with it though. I guess it's pretty much hit or miss with those things.
  20. Hey now...stop with all the Mac/PC bashing. Can't we all just get along? LOL PCs suck...Macs rock
  21. Sounds like we're going the same route with e-cig models lol. We have the same ones except I have a smoking everywhere gold instead of the Njoy Npro. Our opinions seem to be different though, the JS is my favorite right now. I am also looking to get the VP1. Just waiting for them to have some in stock again. I can wait though, right now I'm enjoying my Janty Stick.
  22. I have a Janty Stick, which uses the 801 atty. With the JS, the 801 atty produces great vapor. I'd say it's pretty comparable to the 510, if not better. It's pretty consistent that's for sure. I've only been using the JS for a week, but I've noticed with the juice I'm vaping it produces better flavor than the 510. A bit of a smoother hit too. Right now the JS is my favorite over the 510, haven't used the 510 all week.
  23. Oh man. Exciting stuff. Is there an ETA on site launch?
  24. hahaha. Good stuff man. I haven't had an experience like that yet. Most people I run into seem to know what vaping is and they just ask me questions about it. What was the bum's reaction? I'm assuming he thought you were smoking if he saw the vapor.
