  1. How do you find all this information Vacker? LOL
  2. Guess I must have missed that thread. I only remember a thread when Sean mentioned it in one post, but no one knew anything about it yet. Their website was just one page where you sign up for the list. I signed up and this is the first time they've emailed me letting me know the website is live.
  3. Yeah the grape soda is good. Definitely one of my favs.
  4. Oh yeah, Mentha is good but it is strong. It's Vapor Talk Juice you can purchase from dietsmokes right now. here's the link http://www.dietsmokes.com/products/Vapor-Talk-Juice.html
  5. I was a menthol smoker, and I had no problems switching over. Only thing was I couldn't find a menthol flavor to match the marlboro menthol lights that I used to smoke. Most menthols out there are nothing like an analog menthol cigarette. It almost tastes like pure menthol to the point where it feels like your vaping a vicks inhaler. That might be a little exaggerating though. With vaping though, I found out that I love cappuccino, chocolate and vanilla flavors. So, realizing that I decided to just stop looking for a good menthol and vape the flavors I do like. That's what worked for me, but everyone is different though.
  6. Oh duh. LOL way too early for me today. I need more sleep.
  7. That's a good point. Would be nice to have easy access to refueling the device. But kansasvaper and sinikal brought up a good point about inhaling butane fuel. Not sure how true that would be though. I'd imagine the butane would get burned up and you wouldn't inhale any. *shrugs* Really wish they had more information. I didn't think about that, but it's true. I guess maybe over time it's possible that other vendors would make pods. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. This thing is so new that you have to be on a waiting list to get it. What's up with that? I'm a sucker for new gadgets and would probably get one just for kicks.
  8. I don't know if it actually makes a flame, it just says something about heating. From what I understand, the pod is kinda like a pot and then heat is applied underneath causing the liquid to heat up and vaporize. Not sure though, there's no real break down of how this thing works.
  9. Yeah I've never heard of this or found any articles on it either. I guess it would work only if you really wanted to quit. But then what's the point in that? You can quit without the treatment anyway, if you wanted to.
  10. Hey, I've used this method once and it works great. Brought 3 attys back to life. But have you noticed the attys burning through juice a lot faster now? Maybe it's just me. These are 510 attys by the way.
  11. Oh man...missed all the action on my own thread. Where the heck was I? Glad you guys liked the photo though. It's interesting hearing how everyone sees different things hehe. It's Vapor Man sitting on my couch.
  12. Whoa...I completely forgot about this post. hahahaha. But yeah, I thought it was a load of crap too. But the guy said he was living proof that it worked. I don't know though, he gave me a website that doesn't work anymore. Not that I want to get the laser treatment done anyway, I don't think I want to give up vaping now. hehehe Thanks for everyone's input.
  13. The reason why you usually find cases where you have to take apart the ecig is to protect it from accidentally activating and burning out the atomizer. Automatic batteries are known to be very sensitive sometimes. Ecigs with a manual battery might be easier to carry in your pocket completely assembled, but I probably wouldn't recommend it either. The problem with manual batteries is that the button could possibly get pushed and overheat the atomizer. The last thing you want is an ecig burn in your pants lol. I find myself carrying my 510 in my pocket every now and then, but I try not to. If you could find a case somewhere where the button wouldn't get pushed then I'm sure it would be fine. Oh and if you still have a lot of juice in there, it will leak out if you leave it too long. But it shouldn't harm the atomizer. Manual batteries won't get harmed either since it's closed off. Automatic batteries could get damaged though if the juice leaks into the battery. hope this helps.
  14. Wow didn't catch those things. I didn't thoroughly read everything. The Pods are 100% recyclable though. lol
  15. Not sure if any of you have heard of Ploom, but there was mention of it here on this forum awhile back. I had no idea what it was, but I signed up for their waiting list. They shot me an email today saying their website is now live and that the list for the Ploom model One limited release is closed. They didn't say if I made it on the list or not, so I don't know if I am. I checked out the site and it looks like an electronic cigarette, but built differently. There's no mention of an atomizer anywhere on the site. From what I understand, it's powered by butane and "It converts the butane fuel to heat using a proprietary catalyst system." And that's how it vaporizes the liquid that are in "Pods" as opposed to cartridges. Price for the unit is $40. I don't know, kinda interesting but I haven't heard anyone talk about it really. The site says they have tastings throughout the year in different locations. Particularly in the San Francisco area. Has anyone heard, seen or tried these things at any of their tastings? Here's the link: http://www.ploom.com
  16. Wow Gitzy, nice review you got there. I have arno's sample pack also, but haven't gotten around to trying them out yet. I have way too many other bottles of juice lying around that I still need to get to. Good to know they're all pretty good though. I really need to try that Caramel Macchiato from Parked. I think I might have to make an order tonight. Thanks a lot Gitzy! Sorry, I don't have recommendations for green tea juice. I would also like to know though, I love green tea.
  17. Wow chris, you really are a great guy. I'm gonna have to dig through my boxes and find my box of unused christmas cards. Should we mention we're from Vapor Talk or where we saw this video?
  18. Yeah you should be fine...until you start itching to buy another model
  19. It's kinda hard to calculate exactly how long these supplies would last since each part would pretty much die out or run out separately. Probably would be easiest to break it down into parts: The lifespan of an atomizer is roughly 1 month. So you'd be good with atomizers for about 5 months, given you don't kill any of them from improper usage. The lifespan of batteries depends on which model you have. The model I've had and used the longest is a 510, going on about 3 months now and both batteries are still good. I hear the batteries should last several months before you need to replace them. How long the juice will last you really depends on how much you vape. Looks like we used to smoke about the same amount and a 10ml bottle would last me roughly 2 weeks. I say roughly because I've never vaped a bottle straight until I finished it. I usually switch my flavors around. So the 3x30ml that you have should last you about 4 months? More or less. Hope this helps...somewhat
  20. Sheesh keenan, sounds like you had quite a day. Well I hope your power is back on and that your wife is ok.
  21. Are they? I have a 901 and the bridge looks different than any other attys I've seen. It's thin, pointy and raised up high. Doesn't even look like a bridge.
  22. The low bridge attys everyone is referring to are 801 attys. I haven't heard any for the 901.
  23. I like their cheesy intro poem lol Tethered or free... Push my button, you'll see... It's not the size where my secret lies.. It's in how you enjoy Stick's big vapor! I think I saw this on another site somewhere going for $69.
  24. Makes sense. Thanks for making me smarter Chris. Although that's something I probably should have already known. Doh! LOL
