Boston Cream Pie - My god. This is better than some real boston cream pies I have had. I swear I can taste the cake, along with the boston cream and a bit of chocoloate. Six out of 5. This is my instant favorite dessert vapor. I immediately had to order a 15ml of it. Lemon Meringue Pie - Another wonderful dessert. The lemon is tasty, yet not overpowering, and the meringue... mmm.... 4/5 Chai Tea - An interesting diversion. This was a free sample! 3.5/5 Tastes like a cuppa chai tea to me! Mojito - 4/5 Yummy, nice nighttime vape. I really like it but it's not something I would personally want on a regular basis. The lime is a bit strong, IMO, but the rum and mint are definitely there. However, I gave some to a friend, and he can't get enough of it. Japanese Plum - Another free sample. Good flavor, I'm just not really into plums, so I give it 3/5. It did encourage me to order a sampler of other fruit flavors. Desert Ship Tobacco - I am really liking most of the tobacco varieties from sweet-vapes. So far this and the Traditional are neck and neck in my quest for an all-day. Just got my 30ml bottle in the mail, can't wait to start fillin'. 5/5. I have about ten new samples to try ... hope to get to them soon!

I'm pretty new at this, but I'm guessing you could cut it with a little food grade glycerin (VG) to add some puff to your juices. That would diminish the flavor and nicotine, I would think.

Also, I'm in Pittsburgh too! Good to meet you!

I had the same trouble with 100% PG juice. Apparently it depends on your setup and vaping style; some people get good vapes with 100% PG -- I didn't. I added a little VG, switched to 70/30 and 80/20 blends, and all is right in the world now. You can see my post:

What kind of connector? Mine have KR808D-1 connectors and I've had the same problem with some of them (light comes on but it doesn't fire up the carto) until I learned the trick of re-setting the center connector on the battery using a small needle. See this video...

I'd give it a 1 for no-nic juice and a 2 if I vape nicotine, just because it's a little hard on the ol' cardiovascular system.

I tried a sampler of five tobacco flavors, and loved four out of five of them. SV Traditional Tobacco - Great! I later bought a medium (15 ml) bottle of this one. SV Mapachio Tobacco - Pretty good, not something I would use daily but will probably order it again at some point. Red Tobacco - Delicious and sweet. It tastes like a honey stick to me. Another one I bought a medium bottle. Spanish Gold - Another sweet one, but not as sweet as the Red; this one tasted a hint of fruit to me also. I loved it, my favorite so far. I just ordered 30 ml. Virginia Fire Cured - Didn't care for it, personally. It tasted like I was vaping incense or perfume. I guess others didn't like it either since it looks like it's been removed from the web site. 4/5 ain't bad. The ones I liked were all terrific. I also ordered another sampler, with Mojito, Starbuckets Coffee, and Desert Ship Tobacco -- will let you know how I like them!

Quick update: 70/30 blend gives much nicer exhale vapor cloud

Welcome jakobo! If I had found this forum a month or two ago, and didn't have so much invested in the KR808D-1 already, I'd definitely order an eGo or eGo Tank from one of the VaporTalk stores. I'm fairly happy with the KR set I got; but have found the battery life to be lacking. So I bought some "mega" KR batteries. Those are still half the size of the standard eGo batteries (350 vs. 650 mAh). I have to recharge a LOT.

Welcome! Congrats on getting off the analogs. It took me a while to completely switch -- getting a really bad cold helped; I didn't even want to touch a tobacco cigarette for a week! After that I found it easy to not go back. :-) I'm pretty much a newbie around here, too, and I've found the people to be really friendly and willing to give advice. So feel free to ask away!

New question: what's the preferred method for refilling cartos? I have tried the condom method, and popping the cap and dripping onto the filler. I've watched a couple youtube videos where a syringe is used, as well as simply dripping into the hole on the connector side (which looked really messy), but haven't tried those.

Thanks for the advice, Christopher. Regarding carto cleaning, I did a "gentle" clean by running hot (not boiling) water through them. And, one of them I didn't clean behaved the same way. I'm pretty sure they aren't burnt because they give the same size vapor puff as a new one if I do not inhale it. Given your dire warning, I'll stop cleaning immediately -- the flavor these originally came in was a pretty mild tobacco, so they don't really need it.

When I go out, I usually carry the box from my starter kit in my backpack, loaded with 2-3 charged batteries and a couple full cartomizers. :-)

More experimentation... Prefilled carto: - 3 second draw into mouth, release: cloud lasts about 5 seconds in the air. - 3 second draw into mouth, inhale, exhale: I blow out some visible vapor. Freshly refilled carto: - 3 second draw into mouth, release: cloud lasts about 5 seconds in the air. - 3 second draw into mouth, inhale, exhale: I blow out... nothing. Hmmm...

Defective cartos? The three I am using for this little experiment worked fine the first run through (prefilled). Two I cleaned with hot water; one I just added juice to. I doubt all three are bad since they are random ones I saved from the packs of prefills. Pretty sure I didn't burn them out; I change the carto as soon as it stops giving good hits. Plus I'm getting plenty of flavor and nicotine, just not much of a cloud. Not enough juice? About 1/3 of a 3 ml sample bottle, any more and they'll flood (happened to me the first time I tried it). Plus I'm getting plenty of flavor and nicotine. Just not much of a cloud. Inhaling wrong? I dunno. Slow and long, right? My "method" is working fine on the prefilled ones, just not when I refill them with the juice I got. Again, plenty of flavor & nic... little or no cloud. Thanks for your advice Sharon & BirdDog. Going to go ahead and buy some 70/30 blend, see how that turns out.
