  1. Excellent! I hate having to stay conscious of things like that (i.e. - gotta take it off the charger at 3am
  2. Ahh...OK, that makes perfect sense. Based up this, if one were to forget to take a battery off the charger for several hours, do you think that would damage a battery? I'm thinking not, but it would be good to know for sure. In the instructions with the EGO, it doesn't give a warning about make sure to remove it after the 3-hr charge and I think they would give such a warning if there was a danger. Thanks! Ken
  3. Yes, thanks! I think I do have the liquid problem solved. I was hoping the "dead" cartomizer might be revivable, but I think not. Oh well, not a big cost in that regard. Ken
  4. Hmm? Maybe I'm completely backwards on this. According to the video at the link below, I may have been letting the atomizers get too dry. I've topped off a cartridge right now (pooled at the time like is said in the video) and it seems to be working fine. These e-cigs sure can be confusing
  5. I see there is a lengthy thread on the forum about this, and the consensus seems to be that it is OK, and perhaps preferable, to recharge anytime and not let the battery run down all the way. My question is in the Case of my EGO Advanced, the instructions that come with it says to charge for 8 hrs on the first charge, then use it for 20 min and then charge for another hr. After that, subsequent charges need to be for 3 hrs, even if the light turns green. My understanding is that when the light turns green, the battery is no longer charging. If this is the case, then why would the instructions say to continue to 3 hrs? Or, is it still charging when the light turns green? Also, I know that the EGO has Lithium-Ion batts, but do you think the XHale O2 (from 7-11) and the J118 also have Lithium-Ion batts? BTW, the instructions with the XHale O2 says to immediately start using a new battery (they come partly charged). Opinions / Suggestions? Thanks! Ken
  6. Hi, Very new to the e-cig and already I have the J118, the XHale O2 and the Ego Advanced. You can probably guess which is my favorite I bought the J118 first and I guess in the process of learning, I've messed the system up a bit. I no longer can get a consistent "puff". I bought a starter kit with 4 J118s. I managed to ruin one atomizer (at least I think so). Had the unit in my pocket and since it is an automatic battery, it got very hot. I have not been able to get the atomizer to work since. On the others, I can get a good hit for a couple of inhales, then it fades out (full battery charge). I then take the cartridge off and the atomizer off the battery and blow a couple of times through the atomizer from the battery end and then it will work strong for a couple of puffs and that's it. I then have to go through the process again. I think what happened is that I must have flooded the atomizers. I know for sure I was topping off the cartridges with too much liquid. Anyway, I would like to get this system back to working properly, but not sure what to do. I did run rubbing alcohol through one and blew it out and let it dry completely, but it still reacts the same way. Would appreciate any help on this. Thanks! Ken
