If so I should add I think I may have underestimated how much I will use. How long does a full carto last with regular use?

Okay I got cartomizers in the mail today. I watched a video and preloaded it for tomorrow am. I also saw a video that when spent you can turn the cartomizer into an atomizer (which is what I thought I ordered but new at this) Has any one tried this. Looks like you take a tweezer around the edge and take a needle nose and pull it out when loosened and then it become an atomizer for direct drip.? I do not have the direct drip mouth piece yet has not arrived so am using a different style one. The one that came with the ego. Just pulled the cotton out. The concern I have about cartomizers is that I will go through lots of e-liquid. More so then if I direct drip. Any thoughts on this?

Tomorrow is the day. I make the total reform to vaping and off analogs. I find for right now it helps to learn and learn as much as I can about vaping. Wow there is a ton of information. I have occupied much of my time studying about vaping and getting my set up all ready to go. Come to find out I have a buddy who is interested as well. So will be fun comparing notes. Beware I will be staying close to the forums for a while until I get comfortable. I have a good line up (I think) I currently have the joye ego and stalking up on more juices. Ordered a pass through and a spare ego kit. Heavens knows I do not want to be out here with no back up. I figured the pass through will help. Did analogs for 30 years. So will be huge for me. Just a rant here. Am excited to give it a go. Watched a lot of videos to. I was very impressed.

Okay I worked on them a bit last evening and I blew them out. It worked for now. I love these new juices from VT. I got the Midnight and Sweet Dawn and Dulcis. What a nice smooth flavor all of these have. They will get a work out soon. . Only tomorrow to go until the switch. Plus Sunday am on a major outing so will have a go kit ready. .

I know I will have tons of questions. I can see where this can be very interesting. I am excited and nervous for this journey but know it is the right thing. I do know I do not care for the tobacco flavors very much. Just not the same. So will experiment around. I am thinking at least the 24 will be needed. Some of the juices taste darn good.

I just got some new juice from vapor talk and wanted them all clean to give it a try needless to say was like trying to smoke an ultralight without cutting off the filter. Nothing there. LOL

Okay then I believe I ordered the correct ones. That will give me a chance to compare. Whew.......... I was worried there for a minute. I think I have learned not to try being a neat freak with them. LOL I had not even used them a alot yet. Had to go and wash them.

Joye ego. That is a 510 correct?

The battery is the ego. Yeah I learned the hard way. Do you know what the difference is in the atomizers for the ego and the one with LR I ordered one of each? They both said for the ego. And I can direct drip on either correct?

Thanks I am not giving up trying. Just a little frustrated. Not like we can run to the store for parts. LOL. Have to plan, plan, plan. I am seeing as able I am going to have to get spare parts to have on hand. Am making quite an initial investment although I know in the long wrong it will cost less then analogs.

Okay so am trying to get used to the e-cigs and have totally been cutting down for quit date on Thursday. I made the mistake of cleaning the atomizer now I have to pull super hard to get anything. . I ordered a back-up e-go 510. Has not shipped yet and I ordered 2 more atomizers for the 510 a reg and an LG also not yet shipped. Hope I ordered the right part. I have not even started yet and having trouble. I hope this is not a sign................ I take it they should not be cleaned?????? I followed the video on here but apparently did something wrong.

What got me looking at e-cigs again was when I logged into facebook there was an article about Dr. Oz supporting e-cigs as a way to kick analogs. Great news as far as my thinking for the e-cig business. . Although for me the thinking was there just a reminder that more and more people are supporting it.

You are so right. Stress to me is also the biggest trigger. I have come to the conclusion there is always going to be some "thing". I keep putting it off like when this calms down ot that calms down. Then I realized that to some degree there will always be some form. Good for you 665 days is awesome. Are you still using Nic in the e-liquid?

I bought my first E-Go last spring. I have to admit this thing is a little intimidating. So afraid I will run the batteries out or it will not work. I am 46 and have been smoking 1.5 packs of analogs a day since I was 14. So I did this: I ordered another set of the e-gos that way I have 4 e-cigs on hand if any go out it gives me time to get a new set. I really need to quit the analogs for many reasons. I am hoping that this time I can set a good plan. I ordered Dulcias, Midnight and Sweet Dawn as they came highly recomended. My hope is to start with the 24 MG and slowly wheen to lower nic levels. I think I am going to go direct drip. Any feedback would be appreciated. Any long time smokers out there who have accomplished this and have any tips would be greatly appreciated. I really want to be successful this time. I have set a date of September 1st as the quit date. Thanks in advance Sue

Thanks I am sure I will be adding things as I go. I had no idea there was so much information. I sure hope this woks. I have tried all the other options for not using analog cigs. trying to learn as much as I can. I will be excited to recieve it.
