There is definetly a noticable difference in lots of things. One note be patient with the e-cigs and yourself. Today I gave myself a french Manicure as a treat and I was thinking how nice it will be that they will stay looking fresh and crisp. I light more candles and enjoy them. Quitting analogs is a challenge but thanks to the e-cigs I am doing it. I avoid smokers until I am in a more comfortable spot. Nothing against them I just feel a bit more secure in my own place right now. Most people I know either quit a long time ago or have never used analogs so am secure in that. Whatever it takes. Plus I am having fun learning and using my Joye E-go. I am not exposing my loved ones to the stench of analogs now I smell like bananas. LOL So many reasons to stay on this path and so few not to. You are doing so awesome. Be good to yourself.

Are there ever any groups that get together via chat or IM to discuss vaping or just have open discussions? If so I would be interested.

Cowboy Tobacco Pg/vg With Joye Ego T "q"
susan55040 replied to jen_haynes's topic in New Vapers Forum
Hi Jen, Well as you know I am in it 8 days analog free. I can say yes it is different also yes a little anxious is normal IMO. I guess I do not look at it as a analog replacement but as an alternative. You may have to try several juices to find the "one", There is alot more fore thought that goes into vaping but it really can be fun. I would say drink more fluids is always a good idea. You body not only has Nic but lots of chemicals in analogs. I myself have noticed my lungs are trying to clear (have a cold to) I notice a difference in flavors and smells. My worse times are morning and evenings. I have a stronger juice I use first thing in the am and I vape through the urges (sure they still come) heck it was 33 years. I have this mind set that it is an alternative and not a replacement. How much did you spend on analogs? Look at it this way yes in the long term you save but at first allow yourself some time to experiment. I myself did over a carton a week times 54.00 per carton. Worth investing some $$ in the vape because no matter what in the long term I will come out ahead. -
The drip tips I have are a round mouth piece with a bigger opening to inhale through. that is basically what they are. It enables you to drop into the atomizer for direct dripping without taking off the mouth piece. I personally use them all the time. Get a much better vape and TH. Although I still take it off and put it back on for direct drip (kind of a neat freak) They are easy to clean to (the tips) Mine I just us a q-tip.

Love my Joye e-go here. :). Glad you are staying with it.
-
Muffin diddn't you get the Joye Ego????? I have never seen that part with mine. Wow. You have me curious as to what it is for.
-
I thought that was the route I was going too get into (dripping) Then I was introduced to cartomizers by the gang on here. Mind you a drip is great to sample new flavors but for daily vaping the cartos are definetly the way to go. There is a learning curve but definetly worth a try. I got some of my gear from a great Vendor, I like Pure Smoker. They have treated me very well. I also have ordered from VT as well. No complaints at all on either. Not familiar with some of the others. Definetly drip tip I use it on the cartos too. I still say this is awesome. A week in and so many benefits and I can feel the junk loosening in my chest. Stay with it and have fun. Please keep us posted. I am right there with ya. :)

I agree Tim great tool. 7 days this morning here analog free. Awesome feeling. Yep I hear you on the flavors. I am getting well stocked and cartos too. Diddn't realize how much I would like them. :). Here is to a new vape life and no more analogs. :). Man I have to tell you my sense of smell is returning and wow what a difference. I have been a cleaning fool. Sensitive to good and bad.

Actually I find I like the coffee and fruit flavors much better. I did not think I would but like Dayvape said it is a different experience. There are some awesome Juices out there. I recomend staying open to many flavors as they may surprise you. I know you said your Mom is like me a long term smoker. I did Marlboro reds for 30 years and I seriously do not care for the tobacco flavors. Who would have thought? LOL. If she looks at it as an alternative and have fun with it. It really is neat.

PS frosting I have the JOYE e-go and just love it

Frosting, YAYYYYYYYYYY For you all. :):). You will rock this. It is great. Still holding strong here and yes there is lots of assistance. If I can help in anyway please feel free to contact me. You can e-mail me too if you want at susan55040@yahoo.com. I really believe in this as it is working for me and I almost had given up trying. Soon you and your entire family will be analog free. Seriously if I can 30 years plus in I know you all can. Vape one and success is just around the corner. :). Now instead of yuck y'all will smell pleasant like fruit or whatever flavors you choose LOL

I am on day 6 and yep it is working. Am learning the different tricks to use. Any newbies coming in give it a good college try it works!!!!!! If I can do this anyone can. I vape heavy through the cravings and it passes. I want to be real open here. I have tried every smoking cessation product known to man. Usually I do not make it beyond 72 hours. One time many years ago I made it 3-months that is it. For the first time I really feel I can do this. The E-cig helps with the hand to mouth and that feeling of depreivation is not there. BTW not sure why my facebook profile picture transferred over to here???? That is my Grandson. Not sure if that is a good pic to have on here. LOL Sure do not smoke or vape anywhere near him.

If yousmoked a pack plus per day oh yea 24 is good. If it is to strong next order go down a bit. Some juices have a stronger flavor than others to. I got several to try. Some vendors sell sample packs. Try the small ones first before getting a big bottle. . I do not have the tank system just the Joye ego. Think about it this way. One I smoked Malboro Reds 100's $54.99 per carton. I smoked at least a carton a week. So yes this is an investment but in the long term still way less then analogs minus the initial set up.
-
Hi Jen. You will love the Joye ego. That is what I am using. I would not rule out the flavored juices they actually aren't bad. I smoked the same as you Marlboro red. I would recomend trying a number of different juices until you find some you really like. I am new too. I am 2 days analog free and I love the e-go. For me it was the planning so far. Make sure you have spares of everything and it really is fun trying the different juices. Get yourself some cartos. They do help for convenience and a drip tip (better hit). There are lot of juices out there on this forum is a list of vendors. If you are using this to quit analogs I recomend going with a stronger nic level. Have fun with it. Vaping really is fun and I am learning there are many options. :). Congratulations and welcome on the journey.

susan55040 replied to susan55040's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Thanks All. I so agree it is a much better obsession. I find first thing in the AM is the hardest so far. I have an extreme juice (coffee flavored) seems to be just what I need to get through the craving. Plus I come on here and read. Between the 2 so far so good. Seriously folks this is a Big thing. 30 plus years and I am over 48 hour analog free. I really feel I can do it. Thanks for all the support. ::):). -
No Analogs For Over 24 Hours Huge
susan55040 replied to susan55040's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Ya I set up a hard sided glass case now and one of my e-gos came with a guard in one of those. "Doooooooo" Moments. I was mowing lawn and thought no biggy I mow like 2 acres. So I stuck it in my pocket thinking I would use it and there Is where I killed the battery. Luckily have back ups. I have gone ordering crazy. LOL Trying several different things to see what I like. I definetly can say I followed all the advice and I do like the cartos (more than I thought I would.). I am an all out kind of person. I have to bring in the reins though for a bit. Spent a bit much lately. I figured it will be cheaper that analogs in the long term. :):). Just trying to find what I like. -
Hi Tim looks like we are doing this at the same time. I am a newbie to. I have the Joye ego. (love it) Congratulations on being off analogs. :) . My hubby is so glad I did this. I have a few grandkids. I know our familiy is going to appreciate me not smelling like analogs. My hubby is a non smoker and a guy at his work introduced him to it and he came home and told me about it. He says he likes the smell if he can smell it at all. Congratulations.

No Analogs For Over 24 Hours Huge

Thanks :). Say Jeff B I am one of the few (age wise) On your interests wasn't that a Rupert Holmes pina colada song. LOL. Now it is stuck in my head. just add the and the smell of the ocean and the taste of champagne. LOL Thanks Brian and Fran. -
Okay all had to shout it out. Off to a great start made it over 24 hours. For a 30 -plus year smoker is huge. :) :). I learned a few things on my first day. One I love this E-cig never could have gotten through without it. 2nd. Drips tips are awesome. I started the day with the mouth piece that came with my e-go about mid day had a headache and unsure why. So I had a carto set up and was using that the majority of the day but was having to hit so hard. Went and direct dripped some extreme suddenly my headache started to go away. Went back to the carto and a few hours later the same thing started to get a headache. Well about 4 pm my order arrived and I had a drip tip. slapped that one with the cardo and went fine no more problems. Got up this morning and had a craving grabbed my e-cig and am still analog free. I love my ego so much. I have 5 (Shhhhhh a little obsessed). Doing the happy dance here. I want so bad to be analog free and with this I really think I can make it this time. :) :).

Although I am not experienced as some I can tell you all of those mean alot. For me the flavor and volume of vapor which in my opinion would go hand in hand with the throat hit is huge. Weight and cartomizer capacity is not that huge of an issue in my opinion. Battery Longevity would help. Definetly I would say to produce a good amount of vapor with great flavor is HUGE!!! Size also for me is not an issue as long as the flavor and vape production is there. I think a good long lasting atty would help too. I know some of us are using it to quit analogs. So for me the vape volume and flavor is what draws me.

If they last a few days and the e-liquid you put in them does then sounds good. I was just afraid I would be going nuts on the e-liquid if they were only good for a couple hours.
