So I read in a previous thread that for direct dripping using my eGo to go with the LR atomizer. What the difference with that and the mega I see in the store? If I get the regular lr atomizer are there cartridges for that or should I just go with a tank system? Typically I just direct drip with my atomizer but I see that some are using cartridges (do they leak) or the tank system and are happy. Will my cone fit over a regular or mega atomizer? Do I need a drip tip for either...looks so. If I want to try the tank system, do I need a special atomizer? Do I buy the tank cartridges separately? Should I just go ahead and get a tank kit? Should I just stick with the lr cartomizers I have been using with success? (Boge) Too many questions? -C

I don't think so. I use them till the flavor is gone and it tastes nasty. Still produces vapor though. Sometimes I don't wait to top it off. Just buy more?

So I cleaned them y boiling in water for 15 mins. Blew them out and let them dry for 2 days. There are some that I can only drag on like about 6 times and then I get that nasty taste and heavy throat/chest hit...yuck! Are they shot? I haven't even filled them 6 times yet! What's a girl to do? The are boge lr cartos. -C

That's my question really...I love my Boge lr cartos....but I go through about 3 a day and filling them regularly is getting to be a hobby...not that I mind much at this point but was looking at some other toys to play with. Any advice. I have an eGo. -Cheryl

Thanks for the replies. I appreciate the formula. I have no intention of using nicotine any higher than 36-48 to start as I vape about 18-24 depending upon whats on hand. I really appreciate the support and knowledge. -C

Ohhh I think I get it. They make the nicotine in the PG or VG base. The liquid nicotine, that is like 36mg nicotine in a vg base or pg base already. I have seen up to 100mg of nicotine being sold...with cautions all over it...is that what one would buy and then buy their own vg locally for example and add to it? -C I'll ask any further questions in the DIY section

I know the e-juice are all made with liquid nicotine, and that I can buy it myself to make my own e-juice. But what is the liquid? Is it just water with nicotine in it? I mean how do they do that? or, is it in something else...like vg? -C

Thanks everyone...so my battery is 3.7volts? I'm terrible at this stuff...I just wanna know what i have and what to get. So, to round it up: Stay with the lr Boge cartos. forget the cartridges. get some 510 lr attys with extra drip tips (and I assume they come in different oHms as well? sigh) drip, vape and repeat...as I read somewhere. :-)

I have no clue what they came with, they are thin. Thinner than my cartomizers. If they are standard, is that why I find it hard to draw on it sometimes? Can I just order low resistance atomizers that fit 510's? Is that why I have to order a drip tip too? Mine came with a 'mouth piece' as part of the atomizer...no cartridge. shrug

So an Ohm is a measurement of resistance. So, that means if I want the low resistance ones I get the lower nubmer right? buy the 2 Ohm rather than the 3 Ohm. Why would someone want a bigger resistance? wouldn't it be like sucking on an empty carto? or would I not notice a difference? I'm using my eGo with the standard battery 650mAh - I think. Whatever the kit came with.

I keep mine too. I use them to cover the top to show which ones are filled and label it with the favor with a letter. I replace it when the cartomizer is empty on the bottom so I know which ones need filling. I put them in a drawer without the cap to show me which ones need cleaning. If cleaning doesn't 'work', then I throw it out and use a new one. FWIW My little hobby.

Sounds like a fish. Bottom feeders. I get the concept but is it something I should consider? Most people on here seem to e like me: eGo with direct drip or low resistance Bose cartomizers. -C

I bought some flavors and they are just too weak. I can't taste them. i know my taste buds need to recover but I also need to enjoy my vaping experience. So I am waiting for liberty-flights to get in some more of their flavorings that I want because I did some research and their manufacturer seems good. So here are my questions: 1. Are there other flavor manufacturers I can get that are good sources of flavoring from? 2. Can I add a few drops of flavor to an already mixed pre bought flavor? I have experimented with adding and mixing the premixed in smaller bottles with success but I have never added the concentrate. Thanks, -C

I ought an eGo with Bose low resistance cartomizers. I have been using these with very little problem and direct dripping at night when I'm home. I don't know what a cartridge is, if I want them or what to get if I do? Will I get better flavor or vapor? Do they leak? How do they go on the battery? What am I missing that I haven't asked? I bought my eGo from www.liberty-flights.com. I think they sell the starter kit for 49.99. Get a couple of packs of Bose Low resistance cartomizers and you are all set! They are terrific to work with. Works great for me.

Hi and welcome. I am new to this but found out a few things pretty quickly after a LOT of research. I bought an eGo. I love it. The charge lasts about 5-6 hours and I always keep a spare with me. It has a plug in and also the cord is a usb connection so I just plug into the computer at work to recharge. I use cartomizers, Bose low resistance and they work great. Sometimes on the weekends I use the atomizer and just direct drip. I read somewhere that each cartomizer equals 3-5 cigs. I go through about 2.5 a day. That's about right since I smoked about 13 cigs a day. I started at 18 mg but have moved up to 24 but can't tell the difference so I think I'll go back down to the 18mg and work my way down from there. btw-a typical nicotine patch starts off at 24mg. I ought all my stuff through www.liberty-flights.com and they have the best prices on the started kits that I have seen. The customer service was great when I called and they delivered quickly.
