I am trying a new juice from a new vendor. There other juices did not do this but the strawberry seems to burn out my cartomizer after a few drags. It's happened 3 times. At first I thought I had a bad carto, but now it seems as if it's the juice. Does that happen? They just stop working! No sizzle or any vapor after like 3-4 drags...all other juices seem fine.

Ok, it says eGo-T on it. It is def blue. I take off the carto and it flashes at me. Did I end up with a knock off?

Just now, I took off a carto to replace it and the light was on constantly and I couldn't get it to stop...tried pressing it fast 5 times, 10 times...(1000 ego battrery btw) I put in a carto and it stopped. Seems to work fine with the carto in place. Now, when I take out the carto is flashes blue at me! (Blue is the normal color of the light when pressed.) What's going on here?

I just got 1000 batteries. I also just got lr cartos...they are 1.5! (I won't do that again.) The battery did great for a few weeks and now seems to run down way too fast, like 5 hours when I used to get 8-10 hours of fairly heavy vaping. Do LR cartos affect the battery life? Should I ditch the 1.5s that I bought...gosh I got a carton!

I'm a minimalist. I got the ego and love it. All I did do was buy the 1000 mAh batteries and love them too...longer lasting. I'd say a good 8-10 hours of heavy vaping. Cartomizers are a must for me. I still haven't gotten a handle on the atomizer thing yet...even with cartridges. <shrug> Good luck.

Or is it just LR cartomizers you can't use on the standard 510 battery? Why? My gf does it and it seems to work fine.

Yes they are Joye atomizers. The original that came with my ego kit...real Joye product and two I bought online. I use either a 60/30 VG/pg or 50/50 mix.

I have tried direct dripping, 3 drops, and get very little vapor and only about 4 drags before I get the throat and chest hit from hell! I have tried low resistance and regular resistance atomizers. I even got a cartridge from a friend yesterday and tried that but it had a nasty burnt taste from the beginning, with that huge throat hit. I've been using boge lr cartomizers and clearly I will stick with what works...but am I missing something here? Oh, I do use them to try new flavors so I don't find a flavor that I can't stand and waste a carto...but it has been very difficult.

Hi! I'm from Anchorage! Glad I found this place...great advice on where to shop. You can't go wrong with the guys at forever vapor and vapor talk. I wish we had an e-cig store here. I got some 1.5 cartomizers (I thought I was getting 2.0) and I just got a new 1000 battery. Seems like the flavor is less. Am I missing something here...or again, is it a matter of physics?

I prefer the low resistance cartomizers. Liberty Flights has a good description of them here: http://www.liberty-flights.com/product.asp?id=72 They are good people too. Call first to make sure that they have the cartos in stock, even if the website says they do...they go really fast and I missed out on a shipment...but they were so nice not to charge me, sent a pack of 3.0 Ohm and 2 lr atomizers for free for my effort! So I figured its time to get a passthrough since they let me vape at work and I am at my desk all the time. I just got 2 1000 ego batteries and now it looks like I should have gotten at least one of them as a passthrough, right? <sigh> Are there any other passthroughs to consider? All my equipment is ego and I prefer to use cartomizers...ok, someday I'll get this direct dripping thing down. :-)

Asking too much? I find them to be either bitter or no favor or more like whipped cream...too light. Looking for a good strong vanilla taste that's sweet. Any ideas?

I agree. Get the ego system, low resistance cartomizers are what I use. Juice and you are on your way. The kits come with one or two atomizers. You might like to get another lr atomizer as was previously mentioned. If you go with the cartomizers, get 2 5packs. You can get about 20ml out of a cartomizer before it needs to be replaced. I have never like direct dripping...or just not used to it yet...so I use the cartos. Enjoy!

Thanks, I have plenty of attys and will remember to keep that to a 'local' purchase. I need batteries and cartomizers (LR) they seem to have comparable products as the states...that's why I am asking...their prices are great. Did you buy anything else from them that worked for you? -C
