I think everyone vapes more than they smoked. I haven't heard any negative side effects, although in truth, vaping is quite new and long term studies have yet to be done. Most common are some small complains. Things like dry mouth, itchy throat maybe, sensitive teet and/or tongue. Any small thing like that seems to pass. Probably just your body getting used to something new. Or more nic than you're used to. Long as you arent experiencing anything negative, vape on I say! Also once the newness wears off a bit, the chain vapage might slow. A little. Not much. But a little. Lol! Besides- half the fun is trying new juices & mixing them together. I prefer to think of my vaping as R&D!

I'd get at least 1 more atty back up. You never know if one dies and the other is a dud. Other than that, you should be pretty stocked for the minute. At least if you are in a major metro area, shipping is easy to predict and you can get stuff quickly if something dies.

Gotta agree with the above. It is addicting, delicious, and a fairly large wallet drain. Granted, for MOST, it's significantly less than cigs. But money spent is still money spent. Add to that the unknown long term effects. Less harmful than cigs, but the lesser of two evils is still, afterall, evil. Still putting chemicals in your body. Still insistent on taking up vaping? If you have a friend who already does, try it out. (that's how I got sucked in. But I also completely quit cigs, instead of just "socially" which was too often) it is a fairly high startup cost. I'd take up a productive hobby, instead. Or amateur radio. Or dog breeding. Or painting. Or semi professional race car driving. Or pooping money. If you figure that last one out, let us all know!

I've been using the same atty since my friend gave me the eGo. At least a month now. Not sure how long he used that atty before me, or if it was brand spankin new. It's a standard 510 atty that came with kit. I use a mostly a 50% PG VT Midnight & 50% WordUp 50pg/50vg Blueberry mix. I guess that's 75 PG 25 VG total. It's a rough measurement. Nothing accurate. I blow it out usually every other day when I switch batteries. Haven't done anything beyond that yet. Some nights I burn it dry before I sleep, some I pass out mid vape and have to grab it up off the floor. Oops! Thank god these things won't start a fire!

Only drawback. Compulsive urge to buy more and more stuff. I used to smoke Camel Special Lights. If those were out I'd do pfunks, or marlboro. That's as far as it went, really. Now I've got 6 different flavors, a total of probably 80ish ml of juice, and I constanty want to order more. Just because I can. (I'm probably only vaping <5ml a week, mind you. And I feel like I chain vape constantly. Don't know how others go though so much more)

Question: does the wall charger do anything special? My friend (who is a mod here and an experienced vaper) told me to only use the wall charger, not a regular USB adaptor. Just wanna understand what exactly makes the wall charger special as compared to using the USB with any other wall power source (Ie, my iPhone wall plug or any of the handfull of plugs I have accumulated from devices)

Jailbreak and install "frash" it's a sorta crude port, but it works in a pinch. SJ needs to get over his personal vendetta against flash. For. Serious.

Don't stop buying coffee! I need money for juice! Lol The other day I was just thinking how awesome it would be to have caffiene or guarana or something added to juice, provided it could be processed by your body that way. If you try it, lemme know. Ill have to get some. Or just some unflavored PG + caffiene and add some other juice and have a "Morning blend" of juice. I'm gonna go look them up now...

PG and VG are both GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe). Nicotine, well. That's still technically a toxin, but we all know most of the dangers in cigs are the 4000+ additives. My only conclusion: is there a hidden danger that has yet to be discovered and documented. Probably. But logically, I can't conclude it would A) be more harmful or any different than cigs. Cancer is cancer, death is death. And we are all going to face that one day. I know I enjoy vaping more than I ever did smoking. (I still smoke a pipe on occasion). And I really, really liked smoking! Lol. Is anyone else just as confused as me as to why there has been such an ignorant uproar at PVs? Ok. I know why. Tobacco companies are big money, and they pay politicians handsomely. Let's not pretend anyone in Washington isn't crooked on some level. And yes, I'm a dem. PVs are interfering with Big Tobacco's money. Money makes the world go around... Or something like that. Sorry if that was a thread-jack.

Is that funny taste from VG? Cause I have some 100% VG flavors that have a funky aftertaste. Took about a week or so to lose it. I just chalked it up to going from straight PG to VG. I also have had great success with post mixing juices from various suppliers and flavors.

Ive never heard complaints about VaporTalk's juice (PG) Edit: I have several bottles. Love it. Realized that kinda sounded a little "meh". It's great stuff I think. Ive ordered 100% VG from WordUp and 50/50 as well. I don't like straight VG, has an aftertaste to me. Is that just me? But like everyone said, try a bunch of stuff. Just about everyone offers sample packs. I get bored if I don't have any variety at home. Currently sitting on around 70 ML of different juices. And I'm sure plenty of people have more than I! Ps. Lol @ all. Thanks for the replies. I guess for some reason the Ethyl Alc. Was throwing me off. Most of the flavors with EA have such a strong odor we all end up coughing and choking whenever we are mixing it up. (we really should have a vent hood of some kind...) and when I saw the MSDS on them there was notices about "don't inhale" and "possible risk for..." I wanna say cancer and stuff but I'm not 100% now. Valid point though. It can't be worse than smoking a cig. So...I'm gonna give a few a try and report back my findings. I'll let y'all know later how it works for me. Thanks again for the replies.

Question for all you experienced folk: I have access to flavorings from companies such as Sensient, Flavor Waves, and Flavor Dynamics. I use these for flavoring coffees and teas. But this is done to the product before it is brewed, not to a finished liquid. And most certainly not directly onto my lungs... Yet. Do you think these would be safe to add to my liquids? All of them are a PG base, although some have ethyl alcohol as well as other things- not sure if those would be a good idea. Several are, however, only PG + flavoring agents. So my question is again, would these be safe to add to some of my eLiquids? What do yap think? And if anyone is worried, I hereby release you, and VT, from any harm that could result from my possible future actions relating to adding a flavoring to a juice. This is all 95% hypothetical, as I'm pretty paranoid about something going wrong!

I'll also throw in my 2 cents. Ive ordered twice from chris. First order was some midnight 0 mg juice and an atty. Within a couple hours I noticed an email from him apologizing for a mistake on the website: the 0mg should not have ever been placed as an orderable item. He told me what was available to ship, and offered to credit me if that wasn't good. I took the lowest available nic, not really an issue. I'd rather have 16 than no juice! And I think the midnight is one of the best out there. My order still shipped same day, which was impressive to me since by this time it was 4pm CST. He also helped answer a question I had, that I hadn't gotten answered by anyone else. I think I was asking it weirdly, but he knew what I meant. I appreciated it a lot. I did shipping for my company for some time, so I know how the race to get as many orders out before pick up goes. Overall, I haven't shopped around enough to say more definitively, but I think he has great prices. (disclosure: I've only ordered from VT and WordUp so far, and been so happy I probably will stick with them alone. I'm one of those find a place I like and become fiercely loyal) Yea, being out of stock is a pain. But i look at it like this: Ferrari says "we think we can sell 500 of this, let's make 499." always leave people wanting the product. I jumped on and ordered a few extra bottles to make sure I didn't run out. And, if he were flooded with stock, I'd worry that either A) it isn't good and people don't want it or his service is driving people away. Neither of which are the case. I've ordered twice now from WordUp, and it won't be the last. Order 1: sample pack of flavors Shipped quickly, arrived second day. Everything survived the trip perfectly. (not sure if stuff gets damaged often, but I work in a warehouse and see how wonderfully UPS and FedEx treat my packages. /sarcasm) flavors were good. Some didn't have as much flavor as I'd like. Possibly because I ordered 100% VG ??? But overall good stuff. Send an email asking about flavor strength and was told to make a note next time and Laurin will make stronger. Cool. Order 2: eGo kit and 10 ml of Blueberry PGVG mix extra strong flavor Shipped quickly as before. Had a note inside from Laurin about the flavor. Apparently blueberry is a trick bastard and won't get stronger. Initial vape looks better. Still not 100% what I had envisioned, but improvement from my sample. She threw in a sample of strawberry. Which was, to say the least, fantastic. Might be my new flavor. Overall impression: I've heard nothing but good things about them, and have nothing but good things to add. The email exchanges were prompt, friendly, and useful. The hand note was a nice touch, communication about a special request is always nice. Good to feel that your requests are being taken care of. I will order from them again, and recommend them to all. Prices are good, service is great, and the products fantastic.

Agreed. I've been mixing some PG VT Midnight with some WordUp VG blueberry (and others) to much delight. The blends seem to get great balance of vapor and th/taste However VG is Thicker and will gunk up an atty faster, i believe? Anyone have experience with this?

Have you considered direct dripping? I've never done it any other way, as my bud who got me into this started me off this way. Just drip directly onto the atty 2-3 drops and repeat every 7-10 puffs / when you taste the dry, burnt, metallic taste.

Just be careful. Everytime I use a drip tip, I get mouthfuls of juice followed by hiccups. Good luck though, I wish they worked for me!
