I feel your pain. New Jersey has officially banned electronic cigarettes, apparently it was added to the "No Smoking" ban back in 2009, so all of my vaping is done outside until I get home.

Hey guys, what other batteries is it possible to run in this mod? Can I run 18500 batteries or are they too wide? Any recommendations? Thanks.

Good Prophets has a pretty good sale price going on right now for $20 for that battery, and they are an excellent vendor based on my experience. I have also seen $19 or so at UnSmoke website. I believe the standard retail price for Ego-T Atomizer is $15 or $16. I highly recommend a low resistance Ego-T Atomizer, they're cheaper, they produce more vapor and better flavor with shorter pulls. The only downside is more draw on the battery life but with 1000mah battery you should get a good amount of use between charges.

Thanks, Dayvape, wasn't planning on ordering any new atomizers. Just wanted to get down to the reason why I popped the atomizer. The atomizer I'm using from Electronic Stix is working just fine, and I've got 5 more of those so I'm set with atomizers for a while, especially since I'm alternating devices throughout the day.

It's not one of their LR Atties. I carefully separate my LR Atomizers from my regular atomizers, and my LR Atties are from AltSmoke and Vapor Gallaxy. The ones I have from NHaler have a gold band at the bottom, right above the battery connection so I didn't confuse an NHaler 510 Atomizer with my other ones. I've noticed that NHaler also offers High Voltage Atomizers. Perhaps I am only supposed to use their higher voltage atomizers with 5V mods, and perhaps their regular 510 NHaler Atties are a bit lower resistance than normal. It would explain why I get much better performance than an Electron 510 Atomizer. I will e-mail Drew from NHaler and see what he says. Fortunately, I have 6 Electron 510 Atomizers to rock with the Big Kazoo. Thanks for the responses so far.

You could be allergic to some of your juices. Supposedly, 100% VG juices are good for people who are allergic. It is also a nasty allergy season, so that definitely isn't helping.

Hi Guys, My Big Kazoo came in the mail today and I could use some advice. I popped in two batteries, screwed on my NHaler 510 Atomizer (non-Joye), and pressed the button and the atomizer fired on for about a second or two, and then cut off. I tried pressing the button again and again, but the Atty wouldn't come back on. I tried putting the atomizer on a Joye Ego battery and a Joye 510 battery and still no dice. Did I zap this atomizer? So after this, I put an Electron 510 Atomizer (also non-Joye) that I debridged and it seems to be working fine and the vapor is quite hot and it really brought out a lot more vapor and better hits, etc. as compared to before. Should I try putting a new NHaler 510 Atomizer or do you guys think it will get zapped again? I really prefer these Atomizers because they produce lots of smooth vapor and clean hits at normal 3.7V, but at $9 a piece, I don't want to just roast all my replacement atties. Finally, what is the battery life like on the Big Kazoo? I ordered 4x 14500 batteries from the Kalamazoo website so I'd have one primary set and one backup set, and I know 2x900mah batteries is a lot of juice, but I have no clue how long they will last at 5V. I have to try jumping on the carto band-wagon because I only like dripping with low resistance atomizers and I rock normal 510 batteries at work. Maybe this is the solution.

I think the idea is clever, but the reality is not so great. Caffeine is meant to be delivered through the digestion system, not delivered via vapor into the lungs and mouth tissue. It's going to bring up a whole new set of issues/problems/concerns from the FDA.

Hi egoluvr. I took the cotton filler out of a 510 cart, cut it in half and stuffed it in an atomizer. It fit nicely with the drip tip back on but it didn't vape well at all. I removed the drip tip and put a few drops directly onto the foam but it didn't work well at all. I tried it with a regular 510 Atty and a LR 510 Atty and both times, the juice got sucked into my mouth. So basically I can NOT recommend using 510 cartridge filler to do direct dripping, sorry everyone. I will look for filler alternatives for the time being.

Hi Everyone, I've been chatting on the forum with some of you on the Forum's Chat, which has been a lot of fun! It seems that a lot of you guys have and use mods quite regularly, and I was wondering, why would somebody go for true high-voltage vaping when there are low resistance atomizers all over the place? I LOVE vaping on my LR 510 Atty, so why would I (or anyone) go with a true high voltage mod? People on the chat have been really helpful with recommendations, but I'm just curious on everyone's take on getting a mod and any other recommendations out there. Thanks, Emile

I am still very new to my Ego-T but I give them an alcohol bath once a week. But I only vape my Ego-T half a day and I juggle a regular atty and a LR atty.

Yep, I'm referring to the 510-T Tank System. Uses 510 batteries and a 510-T Atomizer and a smaller 0.5ml tank. From what I understand, you just refill the tanks with a special included refill tool because the tanks are so small. This really looks like an awesome starter kit.

Sharon, definitely give it another shot and let me know, I am very curious. What juice did you run the first time, and what juice are you going to run next? So far I've only been vaping 24mg 100% PG Juice in my Ego-T (regular and LR atties) and it has been awesomeness. I have a bunch of 50/50 juices but I'm too scared to try them in the tank.

Agreed. LR brings out the flavor for me. Did you clean out/blow out the LR Atomizer before vaping?

You need to blow the primer out of a brand new eGo-T atomizer or it will taste bad. I noticed any primer in a new 510 atomizer isn't an issue, but they seem to use a ton of protective primer in the new eGo-T atomizers. When you are taking a drag, try pointing the E-Cig downards so that the atomizer is getting a proper flow of juice. You may want to try investing in a Low Resistance Atomizer. I am a new eGo-T owner and I wasn't happy with the standard Atomizers so I invested in a couple of LR eGo-T Atties as recommended by this forum and now I couldn't be happier. The drag is mostly the same, but I get a lot more flavor, more TH, and a lot more vapor production. IMO, LR Atties are the atomizers that the eGo-T should come with from the beginning!

What atomizer are you using with your eGo batteries?

It's a lot more complicated, and the up-front investment probably freaks a lot of people out. I know there are very decent $30 kits out there, but then you've got extra batteries, juices, spare atomizers, carts, maybe another charger, etc. etc. and it all adds up to A LOT of moolah.

I do have a spending problem, but it's not a problem I like to resolve !! It looks like most of the Specials on the GP website have returned to normal pricings. At least I got to place two orders for a bunch of stuff. Still going to place another since Ego-T LR atomizers are still on special.
