Very impressive. Digital voltage adjustment is so much better than I thought. The unit itself is beautiful but with the 18650 battery/endcap, it becomes too long and heavy. I am going to try to stick with the 18490 battery and endcap whenever I want to use the Provari.

Hi Chris, All your e liquids are 80/20? I was under the impression that they were 100% PG.

My Black one came in the mail today. Ordered it on the 19th in the morning and now it's here, only 8 days, pretty nice. Also ordered an 18650 end cap and an 18490 AW battery so I can use either sized battery (already have AW 18650).

Hey guys, Cheeple wants to go with the KVS-Go Kit...the KVS-Go Kit says that it includes "2 Cone Shaped Atomizers" and "5 pre-filled Tobacco Cartridges" but does not confirm if they are Ego-T Tank Atties and Tank Cartridges. Anybody know for sure? Cheeple asked me directly via private conversation and I don't want to steer him in the wrong direction.

If you like the light, you can buy the KVS-Go batteries from Kalamazoo Vapor Shop. They are third-party batteries that work with Ego/Ego-T/510 atomizers that have a LED ring around the tip which serves as a battery indicator. The LED ring is blue at full power, then changes to green as the battery gets weak, then changes to yellow, then to red. It looks really sick when I'm vaping it (especially at night), and the 5-click protection engages a cool LED flashlight! I have a pair of KVS-Go 900mah batteries and I really like them. But it seems he is selling only KVS-Go 650mah batteries now which is still plenty of power if you buy a pair of them (or if you buy a kit). I did e-mail James and asked him what's up with the 900mah batteries.

An almost fully discharged 18650 will take a LONG time to recharge. Trustfire charger only puts out 250mah per channel, and then as the battery approaches 4.2V, the charger will slow down to a trickle-charge which takes even longer to become fully charged. Charge pattern slows down as the battery gets close to being full so as not to over-charge the battery. Do you have a second 18650 battery? Best to have a spare battery so you can charge one while you vape with the other. Also try charging in the left channel. For whatever reason, batteries seem to charge a bit faster using the left channel of the charger.

On top of what everyone else has said, so much less garbage is created! After I vape for a couple of minutes, there is nothing to throw away. No worrying about finding the closest ashtry, just put the E-cig back in my pocket.

Ego-T has 5-click protection. You want 5-click protection. Click the button 5 times within 2 seconds and the battery is de-activated. Click it 5 times again within 2 seconds to re-activate it. Good for carrying in the pocket, no more need for the Ego Button Protector thingies that snap on and off. I haven't noticed any difference in taste or performance between an Ego-T and Ego battery but snubber makes an interesting point. There may be some minor change in the threading/connection of the Ego-T battery that optimizes the drag when connected to an Ego-T Tank Atomizer.

Makes no difference to me. All my vaping is done outdoors.

Yeah, you're right, the switch has to be able to handle at least 2 amps, same as with the dual coil cartomizers.

That is nuts but how do you know what voltage you're at? Volt meters don't work on Ego batteries.

Okay, it came today and I'm vaping off of it now. The box itself isn't as big as I thought it would be, and obviously there is some weight to it with twin 18650 batteries in there, but it's still very manageable. The voltage dial is large compared to what I'm used to and is very easy to operate. There are 6 pre-drilled markings that indicate the voltage each 0.5 volt increment, starting from 3.5 volts. There is no indication what each marking represent, so you have to count manually where you are by lining up the arrow on the dial. It is basically a guestimate and the dial changes the voltage very rapidly but screwing on a volt meter takes out the guesswork. The notches represent 0.5v increments but I'm not limited to that.

Ego-T LR Atomizer is a noticeable improvement from the standard Ego-T Atomizer. But compared to cartomizers and atomizers, the Ego-T system mutes a lot of flavor and throat hit.

Joye Ego-T Starter Kit. The standard kit includes two 650mah batteries, but some starter kits include 900mah or even 1000mah batteries. Can't go wrong with any of those batteries. Obviously more mah means longer vaping time before charges at the expense of having to carry longer batteries. You will need to purchase E-liquid with your Ego-T Starter Kit, and wthen atch some YouTube videos on how to refill the tank cartridges. If you find that you do not like the Ego-T Tank system, the Ego-T batteries are fully compatible with 510 Cartomizers and 510 Atomizers so you're not limited to using the tank system. Shortly after your first order, you will need to purchase replacement atomizers as well as an extra battery or two. The batteries and the atomizers typically have decent lifespan, but you do not want to have something die out on you and not have any backup/replacement so you can keep vaping, as the goal is to not have to resort to cigarettes at all.

Hold onto the juice for a few weeks and try again. It's not uncommon for the vendor to mix up the juice once you've ordered it and for some reason, brand new juices tend to taste weird but the taste settles out and gets better after becoming a few weeks old.

I will weigh it out for you guys on a scale with the two 18650 batteries installed, and I will try to get some pictures up. Tracking says that it will arrive tomorrow so I should be able to give more information soon.

Sorry if I was being harsh, I get what you're saying. I also don't keep one type of 18650 battery on my shelf, I do have a pair of the obligatory AW High Drain 18650's.

I got that info by doing research. I said that the 3000mah rating is legit (around 0.4A-1.2A draw), not that it's the top notch battery for E-cigarette use. Keep in mind that 18650's are more commonly used to power LED flashlights, not E-cigarettes. If a battery isn't good enough for you, then don't buy it but don't rag on my recommendation, ******-bag.

Hi, Does anybody have the Big Daddy Vari-Cool from Ken's Box Mods? Anybody care to share your opinion on it? Looks really cool, variable voltage box mod running on two 18650 batteries. I just ordered one but my only concern is the size/weight of this beast with the two 18650's in it. Thanks, Emile

Okay bump one more time just in case this information helps anyone else out. Omega + Ultrafire 18650 3000mah + Dual Coil Cartomizer only delivers 3.6V just like the Alpha so no boost in performance there. BUT!! When I rock Omega + AW High Drain 18650 + Dual Coil Cartomizer, I am pumping out 3.9V under load!! And voltage only drops down to 3.8X as the battery gets low. Now that is some impressive shizzle! I can totally rock out with a Dual Coil Carto at 3.8V-3.9V.

So what E-liquid are you using? You're not suppose to use E-liquids that have more than 30% VG content in the tank system, otherwise it will just flood and clog the atomizer. Also, I know that the Ego-T Tank System (same system as tank-o-mizer, but larger) comes with a primer fluid in the atomizer so it tastes burnt in the beginning. You can either keep vaping it until it's gone or just rinse the atomizer out thoroughly under warm water, let it dry, and then vape as normal.
