I know you probally have already done so but check with your apt complex. My mail carrier has a tendency to leave it with them when he can't fit everything in the box. We have 350 mailboxes here to contend with. I haven't had that mishap occur but my mailman does nothing but apt complexes. He has 3 large complexes right together so he has gotten good at it but he hides from me when I am in stalking mode. Paul

I had a conversation with my wife today because I wanted to got to a smaller battery size then what I have so it will fit in the case today. I threw in the question are we saving money. She made the comment that this being Thursday the day before payday that we have more money in the account than we have had in a long time. We used to spend $140.00 a week in analogs. That will be a full kit and several juices and I would still not hit that mark. Imagine after a year 52 full kits and plenty of juice definately would be complying with the back up principle but I would need a new closet. It is easy to say we are spending a lot of money but are we really compared to our old habit. Take into consideration the 100 carrots by the times the carrots are gone. Squash might be the next best vegatable everyone is loving because the carrots are outdated. Paul

Hey Bugsman, I really don't think you will be sorry about canceling your order with V2. I started with V2 back in December. Most people have a soft spot for the first company they start with, I don't. I then proceeded to do the Vapor4life and then Bloog. I still wasn't getting what I wanted. I talked my wife out of some extra money by fast talking because it is her year to handle finances. We swap every year. I order a Riva kit which is an Ego knock off, I was amazed at the difference of taste and vapor. It opened a whole new world for me. I thought that I did tons of research before I did my first order but looking back I was lured by the sites that direct you the venders that they want you to see. I am learning now by leaps and bounds. Thx to the wonderful people in communities like this. I call it a communitiy because everyone here wants you to succeed in switching. Kudos to Christopher to having a forum where people can talk openly. I have seen forums where if you mentioned the competetion that post would disappear. Christopher would rather win you over with customer service. This industry has exploded in the past few months. The vendors that continue with the excellent customer service will be the ones that survive when the dust settles like Christopher her and Vicki at Cignot. I would also like to add our juice venders like Dayna at sweet-vapes. Sorry I don't know what got into me, I started typing and words started pouring out. Thank you all Paul

I have a Riva 1100, I was wondering if the tank system would work if I use the Tank atty's and tank. I have seen the tank modded for the other systems but have never really heard of anyone using one on a Riva. I was tempting to try the new Type B's and see what happens but wanted to ask before spending the money. Thx for any help. Paul

I don't know if this is going to help or confuse but I will try anyhow. I started with the KR808 back in December. I went through several companies till I found Bloog. My wife and I had 4 of the mini batteries 65 mm. I got about 4 hours when I heavy vaped. They are a 3.6 regulated device. Which means that they are 3.6 all the time from right off the charger to when they run out of power. My wife and I never had a problem with any of the equipment. When you put the Bloog battery with Bloog cartomizers it is an excellent match. They really don't seem to work as well with other cartomizers as well. There is no priming as with other automatic batteries. Leaford is there tech overseas, he works out of the factory in China. As far as the cutoff mine were all 7 second and 8 second and I couldn't make it to the cutoff because of the throat hit. My wife and I moved on to the Riva's because like I felt like I was missing something. I didn't do the designer juices like I do now but I found I like the taste from my Riva a little more and I love the battery life. The largest battery Bloog offers is the 102 mm which just came out which I think is around 480 mah battery which should give you about 8 hours. There has been some tremendous advancements in the short time I have been vaping. I still think they make the best KR808. The company went through some problems but it seems like it is getting back on track. I won't go back to the KR808 because I love my Rivas especially since we have passed our Bloogs foward to help other people out. I apologize that I rambled a little this post was interrupted several times by a cat seeking attention. I know Leaford is also a member of these forums and will sometimes sneak in and answer questions and if so ask him about the pom pom picture. I hoped I helped. Paul -
I liked them when I used them. They gave a good TH, Their cartomizers were ahead of their time. I got a little scared when the company started going through growing pains and was having a problem keeping stock in. I went to the Riva 1100 and found that I get more taste from the 510's and a better throat hit. I look back with no regrets. Plus I can get a 510 kit from $ 30.00 to $60.00 depending on what I want. I just wish I started with the Ego or Riva system first and saved a lot of money. Paul

I was surprised that no one mentioned the heightened community involvement. Since I started vaping I have had a lot more contact with the mailman, and my apartment manager due to packages not fitting into the mailbox. I am slowly down finally. I am no longer searching for the perfect system. I started with the KR808's and finally worked my way to the Riva which I am extremely happy with. Now my search is for the juice trying different things so the money expended isn't as bad. Paul

I didn't go through that when I started vaping but my wife did. She went through a period of 2 weeks when she tried to compete with the cats on hairballs. I was blamed for trying to kill her. Her tastebuds came back before mine. You are doing the smart thing by consulting with the family doctor. Everybody reacts differently. I wish you well. Paul

I use a Riva 1100 mah battery I got at Vapor Junction, will usually last me a day and a half. Paul

I just wanted let people know about a small company I found. I am a Riva fan, I like the button better. I ordered my latest Riva 1100 kit from them about a month ago and fell in love with the customer service. Since then I have ordered several times with only 1 hiccup. One of the attys was DoA. I sent an email and he shipped another one out the next day. He may not be the cheapest but he is competitive priced. I have also seen a lot of coworkers order from him without a problem. Thanks for time. Paul

well the addiction doesn't get any better, Wait till you are juggling orders, trying out different juice vendors. It seems like every day someone is trying to tempt you with a new juice vendor. OMG we won't even go into if someone mentions the word "SALE" I think everyone who I have bookmarked for vaping equipment has those on a regular basis. I think some of these stores pop up just to get rid of everything they accumulated during there vaping tenure. I know in the short time that I have been doing this I have accumulated a lot of equipment. My wife has already started giving away some our old equipment that we experimented with to people she works with to help other people out. Of course I get new equipment by her trying my stuff. She was strictly KR808 but tonight I handed her my spare battery with a cartomizer and she is happily vaping away on that. I think I see a new kit in our future or I will never see that battery again. I am already missing various bottle from sweet vapes that I thought I ordered but never see. I ask about it and she tells me that I am getting old and not to worry about it. Hmmmmm makes a guy wonder lol. Paul

It is perfectly normal. It happens everytime you have something ordered. You try to track it as best as USPS lets you. Most of us are on first name basis with our mailman. So far I avoided stalking charges from the mailman but I have the time schedule down pat. Paul

I am one of the cheap people, I use the Riva 1100 which is a Ego knockoff. You can't go wrong with starting with either the Ego or the Riva. I wish somebody would have told me that back in December when I started. I went through the KR808 and companies before I hit upon this. Definately wasted a lot of money before I tried the 510 Riva. Wish you luck Paul

I just wanted to add the Bloog Maxfusion is a KR808-1. If you want to use blank cartomizers with it, I would suggest Boge 2.0. The Bloog is a 3.6 ohms regulated device. The cartomizers are a horzontal coil similiar to the Boge so they seem to work the best. I hope that helps some. Paul

Nice review Ripple, I have tried a few of the flavors and like what I have tried. Paul

Did someone say Key Lime pie <perk>, you have my attention. The strawberry cheesecake and key lime pie causes salavia to start forming just thinking about it. Paul

I love my Riva 1100, I haven't tried the Ego but went there from the Kr808 and was like wow. What a difference. I guess will probally break down and try the Ego one day but in no hurry. The Riva is doing the trick for me. Paul

Still waiting on the Dill Pickle review LOL Paul

Hey EgoLuvr I guess with a Riva in the house, you might have to petition for a name change soon. Welcome to the Riva family. Guss you need more juice too. Paul

You had already ahead of the game by doing the amount of research that you did. You did better than me when I started because I started with V2. That was a nightmare but at the same time it started me down the path. I consider myself lucker than a bunch who started with the mall e-cigs. Lets see if we can't do some pros and cons for everything and help you out. Please remember that these are personal opinion and each ones have those and are subjective to individual taste. KR808- Looks similiar to a real analog (which is vapor term for cig) size wise, Very simple to use. They use a cartomizer which is atomizer and juice storage area combined. The average length before charging is around 3 hours of heavy vaping. I would like to input that is very heavy vaping. A rule of thumb is when looking at mah of the battery a 280 mah battery would be considered around 2.8 hours of heavy use. i.e a 750 mah is 7.5 and 1100 mah 11 hours. There of plenty of companies that service this size but not many service it well. The carts you can by pre-filled or you can buy blank cartos and fill your self. My favorite KR808 company was vapor4life. Please not that is personal opinion only. Joye Ego 510 The joye ego is the standard for the next lvl which a lot of people find that it is a good entry point also. The batteries come in 650 mah and 1100 mah. The joye ego is very versatile. They are mainly considered a 3 part e-cig. You have the battery, atomizer and the cartridge. You van drip 3-4 drops right on the atomizer which will a few good hits off the device. You can use the cartridge with about 15 drops of juice which also last a little bit. They make an Ego-t which is a tank which drips on the atomizer. I have no experience with it but it seems to be hit and miss with everyones opinion. You can order cartomizers for it. Overall battery life good real good throat hit. The standard for the 510 line. They didn't invent it but they set the standard and would only consider 1 knock off from that product. The two places I would consider is the store here or cignot. Once again that is personal opinion only. Riva This is the only knock off I would consider. The only differences with the Joye EGO and the Riva is the button and the finish. They are usually less expensive than the Joye Egos. The normal kit is a 750 mah and a 1100 kit that came out in the beginning of this March. All the parts interchange with the Joye Ego. I use a Riva 1100 kit that I just received from Vapor Junction. I stress that I tried to be objective but a lot of personal preference slipped through which I apoligise for. I wish you luck in your endeavors. When you order make sure you order plenty of e-juice, if you plan on filling yourself on average figure 7ml to 10 ml per day worst case Paul

Which button do you prefer. I haven't seen the Ego in action just switched over from the KR808. I just took the 1100's of the Charger for the conditioning charge and what a difference. Paul

I am truly sorry for your loss. I have to ask are your twins young or old? I just received a pair of twins in a french Foreign exchange program but they were slightly older. They were in the 11 range and let me tell they are definately a handful but very cute. It is still early to tell about their energy level since they are charging up from the jet lag. I am definately looking foward to our future together. I wish you the best of luck with your twins. Just remember to keep them hydrated by having plenty of juice stocked. I would send twinkies but the twinkies didn't have any juice and I haven't found a juice maker for twinkies yet. Paul

Thx Egolvr, I was pretty sure everyone was doing them out of the box by how quick the reviews were coming out. I have some brand new Ikenvape cartomizers waiting to be filled. I figured I will test flavor by dripping and if they passed initial inspection, they were hitting the cartos. Just what I need to stoke the Dragon breath lol Paul

If you vape sweet stuff a LR cartomizer has a better chance to give a slight burnt taste not always depends how fragile the e-liquid is, I don't for some reason the tobacco flavors love the hotter cartomizer Paul
