  1. GG stands for Golden Greek. Not sure bout the TS. The GG series are sold by CoV http://www.cloudsofvapor.com/index.php
  2. You can't go wrong with joye products. They are the originators if I'm not mistaken. I have only used joye 510's and eGo-T(also joye I believe) atties and have yet had any burn out on me *knocks on wood*
  3. Nic level is the biggest factor for TH with PG liquid being next. Nic level doesn't affect vapor production whatsoever. For a happy medium between TH and vapor, most will choose a 80/20 or 70/30 PG/VG blend at the level of nic that works for them. TH is very important to me. Personally I use two different juice vendors. AwesomeVapor which is 100% PG at 18mg. Although their juice has no VG in it, it does still produce a fair amount of vapor. The other vendor I use is KickBassVapor which i get in a 70/30 PG/VG blend(their highest PG blend) at 24mg nic level. Their are other very good vendors out there, these are just the ones I prefer. I tried juice from a few others and they just came up lacking so I've decided to stick with the ones that have worked for me so far. I may eventually try some others, but atm I have probably 250ml+ of juice from my reg vendors that I need to burn through before I spend any more money....lol
  4. Have you tried "Vape Placid" from KBV? All of the reviews I have heard says it tastes just like if you were to take an unlit Newport, put it in your mouth, and take a dry hit. I didn't smoke methol back when I was on analogs, but did enjoy one from time to time. I'm going to try VP in my next order from KBV. They have some really great flavors.
  5. I was just popping the lil cap off to refill and I noticed on one of the carts that the cap was getting worn from doing this. I should have just thrown that cart away because the next time I used it, all of the sudden I started getting this nasty burnt plastic taste. I went to pull the cart off and when I did, the cap apparently came off and was stuck in the bottom of the atty. Not sure how or why, but the cap was melting/burning to the wick post. Now I cant get that nasty burnt plastic taste out of the atty. Luckily, I just ordered 5 more LR atties from GP since they were on sale and have since just retired this atty for now till I get a chance to tinker with it and maybe try to clean it. So, needless to say, I am now just using my 14gauge needle to refill my carts so I don't wear the cap off and end up making it loose.
  6. I think 80/20 or 70/30 PG/VG is about the perfect ratio. PG gives more flavor and better throat hit and VG gives off more vapor. Personally for me, 70/30 is perfect.
  7. I used to smoke Camel Lights 99's between 30 and 40 cigs a day. I find that I vape even more than I smoked. I use 18-24mg liquid depending on the vendor. I need a decent Throat Hit(TH) and found that 18mg on some vendors works for me while other vendors I need 24mg to get that TH. I rarely vape just one flavor or joose from one vendor all day so I end up bouncing between 18mg and 24mg all day. I don't get nic sick and don't get analog cravings so I figure I'm right where I need to be.
  8. I use 3 drops per "DD" usage and it will gurgle for the first hit or two. I only get 5-6 hits tops before I have to redrip but I take some pretty good long hits. Usually you will notice your atty leaking at the connection with the battery if you are overfilling. Also, give a slight blow thru the drip tip after dripping to blow the fluid thru the tip and onto the atty.
  9. Thanks for the vendor review!
  10. Thanks for the vendor review!!
  11. A couple years ago, I had my blood pressure checked and it was borderline high. Doc considered putting me on medication but didn't. I went last week for a D.O.T physical and nurse took my blood pressure and when she finished, I asked her how it was and she said it was at an ideal rate!! Thank GOD for E-cigs!!
  12. Hmm, I've never heard that before. Thanks for the info! I guess I'll just use my squeeze bottle full of ice. I hate warm water :P
  13. 1) How Long on average does your atomizer/cardomizer last? I've only been vaping 5-6 weeks and none have died yet. 2) Exact type of atomizer/cardomizer? (be as precise as possible: include model, make or ulr please.) Joye 510 regular and Joye eGo-T both reg and LR. 3) The main Exact Brand and mix of Juice? (example: 70vg, 30pg totally wicked tobacco flavor) AwesomeVapor's 100% PG and KBV's 70/30 PG/VG. 4) What Type of maintenance do you conduct on you atomizer/cardomizer? (example: dunk in vodka solution 1 time per week and burn out nightly) None so far besides blowing out the atty from time to time. 5) Anything else you might want to add? Nothing that I can think of.
  14. Love the guns in the pic. I am also a gun nut so I figured I'd share a pic of my baby. She was expensive, but she shoots like a dream!! 2010 Dan Wesson CCO!!
  15. The only drawback for me is I get the worst case of dry mouth ever when I wake up. It doesn't matter how much water I drink thru the day or before I go to bed. When I wake up in the morning(or sometimes in the middle of the night), my mouth is so dry, I can barely swallow. I've learned to keep a bottle of water now on the nightstand. I actually will take a water bottle, fill it 3/4 the way and throw it in the freezer. I pull it out before I go to bed and fill it the rest the way with water so that way I have a nice cold bottle of water for when I do wake up and need that refreshing drink
  16. I agree Brian, I absolutely love my eGo tank. I don't have any problems anymore with it leaking as I have learned the tricks to it and although people complain that they lose joose flavor when using it, I notice no difference. I even filled a tank and filled an atty with a drip tip and used them next to each other and did not notice any difference. I also think the Tank atty's I got from GoodProphets are newer versions or something. They work even better than the one I started on from AwesomeVapor.
  17. The only time I get a burnt taste out of any of my 5 tank atties(2LR and 3 reg) is if I fill the tank cart to full. If you overfill the carts, the liquid will not drip into the atty. I leave a space about the thickness of 2-3 dimes worth of space empty and have no problems what so ever
  18. I think this thread is older than I am....lol
  19. I may have to try these guys one of these days. They seem to be well regarded. It's just hard because I am really digging KBV jooses right now and they still have so many I wanna try. Monkey Bread and Rice Krispity Treat from them are AWESOME!!
  20. Love your reviews!! Keep 'em comin
  21. I'm at a point now where I'm happy to stick with AwesomeVapor and KickBassVapor for my juice needs. I've really been diggin KBV's joose! I've had a couple I didn't care for, but most I've tried are good and a couple of them so far are in my favorites rotation. If you haven't tried them, I highly suggest you do. They are worth it. Their Monkey Bread and Rice Krispity Treat are freakin awesome!! They are such complex flavors. Anyone can make a grape, strawberry, etc but to put together some of the complex flavors they do freakin rocks!
  22. LOL, nice one!
  23. Have you tried KBV's "Vape Placid"? All the reviews I have read says it tastes just like if you were to take an unlit Newport, put it in your mouth, and suck. They have a 70/30 PG/VG blend and at 24mg nic level, I get a pretty good TH on their juices, especially on LR atty's. I have tried a bunch of their jooses and none have ever clogged any of my atties, even their darker colored jooses. I really have become a fan of theirs. They make some really complex flavors that are awesome like Monkey Bread and Rice Krispity Treats. EDIT: Glad your back btw!!
  24. Great story! I have my CPL(Concealed Pistol License) and this would be the likely outcome if someone is so unfortunate to try and mug me at knifepoint too. Although I would not call the FBI, etc..That could get you in some serious poo!!
  25. The LR atties from GP do have a very small "LR" on them. It is located on the bottom inside of the atty near the threaded section. It is REALLY small. I have 20/15 vision and I can barely see it. I would imagine alot of people would need a magnifying glass to actually see it. I just took a black sharpie and put a mark on the outside just so I would know without having to look hard for it.
