Good question Sharon. I am a tinkerer so first thing I had to do was take the tank apart and figure that out. The LED(and transistor) is attached to the stem of the CE2 by a very thin metal wire. I did take the LED off and back on but did not take off the transistor. So, I do think taking it off and attaching it to the new carto can be done but may be more trouble than its worth. I did post a message on her thread asking if the replacements could be ordered with the LED attached but I think it may have been overlooked because she did answer other questions in my post but not that one. I am going to message her again to see. Even without the light, these tanks are pretty nice considering the price point. You can almost get 5 of these tanks(no LED)for the cost of 2 MAP tanks. BTW I do believe these are the exact same CE2's that are in the MAP tank so if you have a MAP tank and need a replacement carto but can never catch them in stock over at CoV, you can get them from her. They do not come with the lil cup cap that the MAP tank requires so make sure you save the old one from your MAP tank to use with the new CE2.

couple of tips for the eGo-T: DO NOT fill the tanks completely full. They will not wick well. I usually fill to a point where there is about the thickness of two dimes space left at the top. Also, instead of hitting the battery on a table or whatever, you can take a couple hard dry hits(hits without firing the atty) and you will also see the bubble come up in the tank which is a sign that fluid is being released into the atty. Hope this helps.

They've raised the price to $10.99 now. Still a decent price though.

I have not tried that flavor yet but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I do. I have never had rice pudding so maybe that's why this one isnt as high on the list despite the glowing reviews. KBV is awesome and has become my exclusive joose vendor!!

I just got my two 4ml Storm Tanks in today and wanted to share a review with my fellow vapers here at VT. These are handmade tank mods made by Cloudbust from ECF(formerly known as Storminyte). These used to be for sale over at CloudsOfVapor before Bruce went strictly to the MAP tank. They origanally were not offered with the optional LED that they are offered with now I believe. These operate off the XL CE2 cartomizers(outside cut off just like the MAP tank) and the tank portion is made from a cut off plastic syringe. For those unfamilliar with the CE2, it is a 510 connection. The CE2 cartos come in 2.5, 2.8, and 3.2 OHM models. LED lights come in 5 different colors: red, blue, pink, orange, and green. There are 2 models. The 4ml Storm Tank(XL CE2) and 2ml Mini Storm Tank(CE2) although the LED light option is only available in the 4ml version. Now, for my thoughts. I do like these tank mods very much so far. I ordered the 2.5ohm version and am using these on the 650Mah eGo batteries(3.7 volt of course). They are easy to fill. The mouthpiece just pulls off and will pull the gasket off with it. You then can just use your joose bottle with dripper to fill these. It does take a little tinkering with when replacing the mouthpiece/gasket to get it to fit over the ceramic cup properly. These tank mods use the mouthpiece from the CE2 cartos and are not compatable with drip tips. These mouthpieces are much smaller than the 510 drip tips I normally use and do take some getting used to. So far, I have not really encountered any leaking issues. The only issue I have had is a very small amount of liquid will be drawn thru the mouthpiece and will congregate at the opening of the mouthpiece. I have found that a slight blow into the mouthpiece before hitting will pretty much eliminate this. Otherwise, I have had no other leaks and no gurgeling(which I do get from my MAP tank if tank is tipped too much or inverted upside down) Flavor and vapor production are awesome. The CE2's are known for producing great vapor and flavor and these tanks are no different. I have been mostly using my eGo-T's lately and definately notice a stronger flavor from these tanks. Pricing for these tanks are more than affordable. The 4ml tank goes for $13 and the 2ml version goes for $12. You can add a LED in a color of your choice for an additional $4(only available in the 4ml version). Replacement cartos are in stock and available for $4 each or a sample pack of all three OHM's for $10. Stormy is still in the process of getting her website online so if you want to order one now before the site goes live, you can email her at: sales@stormysvaporcellar.com. You will want to use the following template for ordering: Item ordered: Ohm: LED color (only for Storm tanks 4ml): Quantity: Total due: For the record, I pay for all the products I recieve and review and am not compensated in any way so I will always be giving my completely unbiased review. The first pic below is my green LED tank. The second pic is my blue LED tank which looks alot like the green LED in the pic but is completely blue in real life and the third pic is of the Storm tank compared to the MAP tank. I hope everyone enjoyed my review and I wish everyone Happy Vaping!!

The newest flavor that I have fallen in love with is Warm Sugar Cookie. It is soooo spot on. It is right there next to Monkey Bread as my favorite. I knew I should have ordered the big bottle. Oh well, I'm sure I'll be trying some more of their flavors before it runs out and I'll just order a couple of the big bottles next time.

Same here. No cleaning just the occasional blow out. And to the OP's question, I have usually 4 different ones going at a time with different flavors. Currently have Vape Placid, Warm Sugar Cookie, Monkey Bread, and Pineapple Upside Down Cake. All from KBV. They are all LR versions and have been using these particular ones for close to 2 weeks. The original one I bought still works but I now use it only as a back up because I do prefer the LR versions better. More taste and TH from Th LR ones.

Calling All You Savvy Juice Gurus Out There
Morfeeus replied to Beans's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Heya Beans....have you tried their "420" atomizer. I just checked the website and watched the video and he say that no matter what joose you use, that atomizer will give a killer TH. I have some great tasting joose but no matter the nic strength, the TH is just really mild. Would love to know if this atomizer could fix it. Kinda expensive though at $15 a pop. -
I know how ya feel. I can't stop ordering from them either. I have enuff joose to last me 3 months easy and I still want to try more from them because the ones I've tried are so good(except Choc Covered Pretzles and Carmel Capp. I did not like those). The other 10+ I've tried are super yummy!

Just talked to boB over at KBV and he says the site should be up today sometime!!
-
Yea, it is spot on. boB is joose mixing genius.
-
They almost have the site ready to re-launch. I would say that it will be up tommorrow or monday at the latest. boB just wants to make sure its runnin correct before he puts it back online. I just got 4 new flavors from them today and all I can say is WOW. They are great! I got Pineapple Upside Down Cake, Warm Sugar Cookie, Vape Placid(menthol tobacco which tastes just like a Newport to me) and a "bait a"(beta) sample of Joosy Froot. I will be doing a review on them in a couple days when I get in more vape time on them.
-
Congrats!! Today is my 7th week analog free and I'm lovin it. Quitting has never been so easy!!
-
Well, I just got my order in from KBV that included "Vape Placid". It's been awhile since I've had a Newport, but I swear this is dead on to that. Anyone looking for a good menthol analog type flavor, I would definately recommend this. I've only tried one other methol juice(was from awesomevapor who I order from often) and to me it was just a methol flavor. This actually makes me feel like I am smoking a menthol cig!
-
I've heard alot of good reviews on Vape Placid. I ordered some that should be here today. I'll give you my thoughts once I try it.
-
It is totally yummy. KBV is now my exclusive joose vendor.

LR atties burn through that stuff like crazy!!

Maybe why there is more info on analogs than vaping is that people have been smoking for thousands of years(I looked it up on wikipedia. 5000-3000BC). Vaping is still in it's infancy. The barrage of clinical tests are just beginning now that it has become more popular. Nicotine on it's own is not that bad for you health wise in moderation. It's the other 4000+ chemicals that are in analogs and not vaping that should concern you most. Nicotine on it's own is about as dangerous as caffine. Granted, If you comsume it in mass quantities, it could be very dangerous just as if you consume caffine in mass quantities. A couple cups of coffee and you are fine. Drink a few pots though and you will find your heart ready to jump out of your chest. I wish I could tell you exactly how much nicotine is absorbed by vaping, but I'm not a scientist and don't have the info to pass on. All we as vapers can do is give you some suggestions on where you should start depending on our own experiences. I smoked 1.5 to 2 packs a day of camel light 99's. I now vape between 5-7ml's a day of 24mg nic level juice. I have never gotten nic sick.
-
I just need to quit ordering joose completely. I have so much stocked up now that I could probably go 3 months before needing more. I just can't stop though....lol
-
I used to smoke one and a half to two packs of camel light 99's a day and now vape between 5-7ml of 18-24mg nic joose a day. I get no "nic sic" feelings at all. Just listen to your body. You will know when you've had enuff nic way before it would get dangerous to your health IMO. I think the first symptoms would be nausea and headaches. I am not a doctor though. This is just my opinion and should not be taken as medical advice.
-
That would be nice having an idea of when your battery is getting ready to die. I usually have 3-4 eGo-t sets going with different flavors and I can never remember which battery has been charged when. Great idea. I may just have to try em out when I get some extra funds. I just spent $60 on two new MAP tanks and another $43 on 2 Stormy's(from ECF) LED tanks.

The nutty flavor in the candy bar was too strong for me when I got it. It wasn't bad but it wasnt great either. After letting it steep for a couple weeks, It seems to have lightened a bit and now the juice tastes much better. And yes, monkey bread is freaking awesome! One of the few jooses that I coulod vape all day long!

I'm glad you came back to this post to give us more info on the situation. As you can see by how many posters here defended Chris(owner of VT), that he is a class act that strives to provide a great product along with great customer service. Not only that, He pays for this forum that so many of us love. Granted, it sucks to spend your hard earned money and recieve a product that is not up to snuff but I think in the end that you will be glad that you did register for this forum. Even though you did alot of research, you will find that you will still have questions regarding E-cigs and vaping and this site is full of great info and great people that will go out of their way to help you get your husband the most out of his E-cig and hence the best chance of succeeding in quiting smoking. Although your introduction to this site was not planned, I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say that I hope you stick around and become a member of our family!
