Bad Dog!!

I have gotten used to spam and just don't even click on it if I don't recognize it. I do use the Outlook feature of message preview so I can get the jest of it without actually touching it. If it is real then whatever I missed it so call me. Let's not even go there with the calls I get, all now just go to vm unless I recognize the number. With VoIP I review all messages online. I do alot of research on my job and I work for 4 departments. (Sales, Operationss, Engineering, ProfServices and formerly Marketing). IT told me I am truly the Princess of Spam. My company detects and reroutes aproximately 1600 spams a day just to my email, then I told them they miss between 100-200 that get through to me. HaH!!

I get many spams similar to this. If I don't recognize the senders email I don't even open it. They are counting on people's curiosity to at least click on it and once you do then you have verified that it was sent to a legitimate email and you will be doomed for life. I am not sure how they got your email addy but some companies do sell they lists, although I would hope no one I bought ecig stuff from would do that.

Okay, Here's what i did have 2 adapters (1 never used) 5 batteries (2 totally charged) 2 510 attys 4 901 attys I tried every possible combination. Not an easy feat and yes very time-consuming. it is the Spade at fault here. I did see the adapter guts were pushed in and found the adapter totally comes apart. used Spade with new adapter with 4 different 901s used Spade without adapter with 2 510s got the same results every time lot's of light, then with a slight twist when the atty or adapter makes contact with Spade -- Voila!! Lights go out. not a thing, no power soon as contact is made. With a slight twist to release the adapter or atty and -- Voila!! Lights go on!! Gotta be the Spade --- wadaya tink??

Thanks McQuinn I tried tape on Spade and adapter but get no vapor at all. Unit does light up and I can hear atty craklin' but no vapor.

I have been using an adapter on my Spade. So you think it is just the atty, cuz I have 15 or so atty's -- let me try a different atty. I will let you know. All I really appreciate the feedback. In the meantime I put in a ticket with VT cuz this thang is still on warranty so I wanted it documented. but again I will try a different atty as I may have messed it up with the adapter.

OH NO!! I loosened and jiggled the att and EUREKA!! That is the problem BUT now it is too loose to vape -- just absolute air coming through. What should I do now!! is there an o-ring bushing or something I can put there to seal the air gap??? Don't know what to do -- please advise!! boohoohoo thanks

Thanks Mark, I gave the dang thing a total cleaning and still have issues. I will try the "loosen the atty" and see what happens. I am at my wits end at the moment. Love Loved my Spade -- now I am packing the old 901 just in case of vaping failure on the Spade. I appreciate the tips.

Having problems with charging... Spade will not light up and battery #1 appears to be dead I put battery #1 in charger and charger says battery #1 not dead I put battery #1 back into Spade -- no power I put battery #1 into backup charger and charger says battery #1 not dead I put battery #2 into Spade -- lots of power and vapor Spade works for awhile then no lights no power I put battery #2 in charger and charger says battery #2 not dead I put battery #2 back into Spade -- no power I put battery #2 into backup charger and charger says battery #2 is not dead I put battery #3 into Spade -- lots of power and vapor Spade works for awhile then no lights no power I put battery #3 in charger and charger says battery not dead I put battery #3 back into Spade -- no power I put battery #3 into backup charger and charger says battery #3 not dead etc, etc, etc, I have 5 batteries and they all are behaving like this. If I leave a battery in the charger overnight it seems to hold a charge for a longer period of time. What is the problem Are all batteries dead? Are all 2 chargers dead? Basically battery is either totally dead or i get 5 minutes vaping time. Should I be charging for 8+ hours? Is my Spade dead? Love to hear all responses, bring 'em on.

Too bad for that guy, he should belong to a forum as this has been discussed many times. I fly once in a while but I separate the whole thing. Batts in camera case, atts in makeup case, carts in pocket. and of course spares in my checked bags. I have vaped on plane but I am very discreet. Not all interest is good interest. and as I am typically going on vacation I am in my "happy mood".

HaHaHa tooo funny, I actually wanted more!! These guys have a great -- yet somewhat warped -- sense of humor!! And I LOVE IT!!! Terrific find.

Plain facts here, if this person has emphysema and is on oxygen, then vaping is pretty much out of the question. I am not a nurse, or doctor BUT I am a practitioner of common sense. So that being said IMHO -- no vapeing allowed. Still this is a valid question and yes lot's of people including me will respond with their humble opinions. As always in this forum no question goes unanswered -- as two cents is about all we have -- so you got my two cents worth. Ultimately you just have to weight out the answers that you choose to agree with, and make your own decision.

Well my Mother in law is on oxygen for emphysema and she can barely take a deep breath without coughing -- let alone vape. As shortness of breath is a symptom of emphysema I don't believe vaping would be too easy anyway. If they are off nicotine and on oxygen then this person can certainly break the "hand to mouth" habit or try a carrot.

I totally agree!! 1. Those who have heard of them and are curious become more aware and may pursue getting them. 2. Those naysayers may have a new found impression that they are not cigs cuz they will experience the "no smokey" second hand smell. 3. Free advertising. yahooooooo!!!

Hi all, any info will be helpful. A pal of mine has been observing my e-cig usage and is sooo proud of me. At one point he wanted to get one for his Mom and one for his Dad. BUT he never got around to it. Then he pointed out they are banned in Israel so he would have to purchase here and ship to them. Then he got concerned that they would not get through to them. He just told me his Dad was admitted to the hospital. Now he really wants to pursue getting e-cigs to them. 1. Is there anywhere to purchase in Israel. 2. If not, is there any supplier who will ship to Israel. 3. If not, what is the best way for him to ship "contraband" ecigs to Israel, and avoid inspection. He travels there once a year and could hand carry but he won't be going back for 8-10 months and would like to get them started now. All responses welcome. Any advise is good advise and will be taken into consideration. Thank you for your support.

ABSOLUTELY the point I was trying to make earlier. ABSOLUTELY when is "enough is enough". I like to vape but geez!! besides the vapor is just the juice floating away, just accept the throat hit and taste and be done with all the creative mods. ABSOLUTELY this is baddd press!! Just like the FDA saying there is antifreeze in all ecigs. They would love to get wind of this and publish the heck out of it. Just to aid their efforts to ban ecigs for eternity. and yes I am sure that clown from ASH has seen the post and the pics. That guy is a pain.

Wow!! This is serious bad press!! Even though he admits to "user error". I do believe there are a few too many people who buy from sources that no one has ever reviewed and unfortunately as we are all trying to save a few bucks here and there we often make a purchase from a source we know nothing about. I will stick with my current trusted "certified" sources, VT Store for one and not get too creative in my "buyaholic" pursuit to the perfect stash of supplies. Glad this guy is okay -- his equipment looks like hell!!

Okay, I think this whole "Buyaholic" thing is new and not totally understood by the guys. Yet all of us ladies (and Princesses) totally "get" the shopaholic/buyaholic thing. So girls let us all be as patient with the guys as they are/have been with our spending. As is it clear they are on a learning curve.
