Nope not rambling - true life experiences are great. the only thing I would be concerned with is the real tobacco aspect. Not just monitoring how much nicotine we get but what about the carcinogens, isn't that somewhat why we use ecigs? Where do the carcinogens come from in real cigs? is it additives/processing/paper or all including the actual tobacco? Chewin' Tobacco has been proven to cause mouth cancer, hasn't it? I believe e-cig nicotine is coming from vegetable matter, such as peppers.

The hand to mouth thing and the weekly commitment made me finish the study. But to be honest I try to finish whatever i start and I didn't want to let them down. They did have about 1/3 drop out for a wide variety of reasons. I did have to get a complete physical and meet quite a bit of criteria to qualify, as the study was for FDA approval. To tell you the truth I wouldn't do a study now, it was a tedious pain in the butt. BTW: since I did finish the study they have continued to ping me to do more. I totally drew the line at eye surgery. Heck I only have two and if it didn't work....eeek!

good fine Chris, some might find this interesting. Actually in 1989 or so I was one of the volunteers for the nicotine inhaler study. The study was conducted at Stanford in Palo Alto and I worked in Palo Alto at the time. It was for 18 months, i went in every week and they took blood and i blew into a thing to check my carbon monoxcide level also had to answer a bunch of questions re: depression. they provided the holder (kinda like a Hav-a-Tampa mouthpiece) and cartridges (plastic things filled with fiber & fluid with foil on both ends to puncture) and weaned me off over several 16 week periods by dropping the level of nicotine. There were 500 people in the studay and half had placebo. My boyfriend and some buddies (all non-smokers) took a drag off the cartridge and thought they were going to die coughing so we determined i had the real thing. One guy smelled it very hardy and his nose had a burning sensation. The company at the time was Danish (i believe) Pharmacia Leo (i believe). Anyway after the study I thought I was smoke free and took a couple of puffs - boy was I wrong!! one puff led to another then i bought cigs and i totally relapsed to a full blown smoker. that stuff was pretty close to pure nicotine, we were directed to not inhale as the puff of nicotine would be absorbed through the skin in mouth.

I just now checked for any and it dawned on me that I don't think stainless or brass gets rust. Correct me if i am wrong. There is no rust or oxidation or discolor. It's been a couple of days since i cleaned and stored one. I would think i would see something by now. eh?

I cleaned an atomizer with Pepsi, results: left it in Pepsi for maybe 24 hours lot's of little black specks in Pepsi put it in glass with water swished it around lot's of little black specks in water blew it out from battery end set it upright on paper napkin 2-4 hours few drops of juice and rolled it around into a ziplock bag 2-4 hours couple of drops vaped yeehaw!! as good as new

I also love caramel, come christmas time I will send you some of my homemade caramel candies. There is a wait list for them but I could bump you to the top o' the list.

I did try the Riskee by PureSmoker which is a caramel flavor. Caramel is basically burnt sugar -- so yes Riskee has a burnt taste. sidenote: I know about caramel cuz i make candy in the winter months for gifts. Caramel= butter+sugar+clear corn syrup (more sugar) and you cook it till it browns aka burns.

I bummed, they don't have Kiwi or Dragonfruit.

as far as flavors where I went shopping -- basically cake and cookie flavors, i.e. vanilla, butter, almond, rum. But of course there are dozens of flavors by Lorann but I can only find them online, and i was in a hurry to experiment. I may try my local Chef's Supply store as they may carry the Lorann flavors or at least some of them. of course if outlawed you will still need to get the Totally Wicked, and if i feel something is in the works with cutting us off, then I will stockup baby!

glad you asked, i forgot. throat hit was grrreat, although I have read that totally wicked used pepper to get that. I personally loved the throat hit.

Hi all, I mentioned I ordered the 30ml of 36mg Super-High (chocolate as they were out of unflavored) from Totally Wicked for $29.99 +shipping (all nic strengths=same price), well I received it 3/17. I promptly headed over to crafts store into the cake and candy supplies area - purchased Wilton Glycerin (food grade) 2 oz for $2.50 and Wilton Candy Flavorings (4-pack with Cherry, Cinnamon, Creme de Menth, Pepperment - ea 1/4oz.) for $5.49. Didn't know what flavorings they had and there really was not a selection. For my immediate urge to create my own flavored juice - I settled. I decided to use the mint flavors together (as I love True Menthol from PureSmoker.com) I used my syringe for measurements. Used dropper from Totally Wicked for glycerin into syring cuz that stuff is very thick & syrupy. 5 ml Totally Wicked Chocolate 36mg nic 3 ml Glycerin 1 ml Creme de Menth flavoring 1 ml Pepperment 10 ml = 18mg nicotine Well I vaped all day yesterday and it wasn't bad, actually pretty darn tasty. Very close to True Menthol but not exactly. Observations: - tastes like menthol - chocolate barely noticable - holy vapor! heavy vapor, probably cuz of glycerin - glycerin very thick, actually need to cut it with flavorings - still somewhat thicker than premade juice - used more carts than i typically do (normal daily use is 7-10) used 9-12 - burning taste when cart is empty is somewhat different (pretty nasty actually) very metallic All in all this could prove to be a frugal way to vape, cuz i get double the amount of juice if i cut it in half myself, even though i am vaping more. I will keep you all posted on any further issues/concerns.

understood. Prices here in the states vary from state to state. In California in my area they are $5.50 a pack, although I was in New York a few years back and paid $7.00 that's 7.00 USD = 43.1235 TTD. Don't know what the price is in NY today but must be pushing $10 at this rate of taxing. Stick with e-cigs as I am now in a profit at this point even with all supplies purchased.

There is most likely only an import tax. Correct me if i'm wrong.
