There is USP which is a by-product of the soap making process and then there is FCC which is the food grade typically made of palm and/or coconut oils. Food grade can be purchased at craft store or a store with cake decorating supplies as glycerin is used in icing for cakes and cookies. Wilton is the brand that I use.

I am considering a 510 for myself since you guys seem to really like it. Right now my fav is 901 and that too was cuz i couldn't find parts. I have also been waiting for the 3.50 ea atomizers, do you have any inside info on when those may be coming? I sent an email but no reply. Heck by the time he gets them i may be on to the 510.

Shenzhen is a city in the Guangdong area of China so you will see that name alot within company names

Sean, the deal with patents can be difficult unless you are very devious. The minute you complete a patent application the information becomes public, it can takes months/years to become final. that is why you always see "Patent Pending" so in the meantime someone who is unscrupulous can come along and start manufacturing your design before you actually get the patent. What I mean by devious is what was done by Dean Kamen the inventor of the Segway Personal Transportation device. What he did was actually file for multiple patents, so many in fact (up to 100) that no one could figure out what he was building. He did not put the entire device with diagrams into one patent so it could be stolen and reproduced prior to his announcement. Yes this costs a tremendous amount of money but he (and his investors) envisioned this making tons of money. Also you may see an infomercial for one item then the next night see pretty much the same item as a much less price. Already been knocked off and they bail. Again as always about money. I have posted this a couple of times but it got bumped by other posts. http://appft1.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser...=DN/20060196518

YaY!! Thanks much!! I love my 901

Hey both of you!! What's wrong with this avatar of the Real Princess?
-
Well that is a good question. I see the pic shows a 2 part mouthpiece/cartridge and the true DSE901 has a 1 piece all in one cartridge/mouthpiece. Unfortunately everyone seems to want to slam the 901 onto the mini cig but as i mentioned in the attached link there are issues with mouthpieces fitting with atomizers of the 2 different models tha appear to be the same. for the purpose of the photos i don't think it matters too much but it does matter when you make the purchase from 2 different suppliers - trust me on this. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?showtopic=485

this is pretty cool, not done by me and i don't know who to give the credit to, but it is certainly worth sharing.

Well now, this makes me feel better!

Wow!! This is a good interview coming from Canada eh certainly glad someone noteworthy is looking at this. thanks for sharing -
Great Review Royce!! I too am lovin' the 901 althought a quick question for you. Do you know if this is a Ruyan 4075 or Sailebao 901? If you read my quote below you will see why I ask. The atomizer fit is critical, i find I carry 2 spare atomizers and 2 spare mouthpieces cuz of the fit issue.

I was just thinking if this is going to hit YouTube perhaps you should look at the marketing of the upcoming store and branding to ultimately bring new people to the forum and to shop. Maybe get all the names and do a polling vote.

Hmm, as long as we are talking 'bout reality shows, some of these are taken and some are just plain stupid. But Stupid is as Stupid does, so maybe you can do a spinoff of one of these? Here is a link to Cixi E-cig check out a lot of their links -- interesting how they bash Ruyan. They do have new technology and refer to the atomizer as a "vaporizer" and on a couple of models you can not drip. I guess cuz the parts (vaporizer & mouthpiece) are sealed. http://e-cig.com/shopping/shopcontent.asp?type=comparison

did anyone go?? http://www.tobaccoplusexpo.net/

This is actually a trip down a slippery slope and is wide open for a lot of debate. Intellectual property is knowledge (atomization technology) that is owned by someone (that being Ruyan). It has three customary domains: copyright, patent, and trademark (a fourth form, trade secrets, is sometimes included). That being said even if someone was to change the atomizer it is still based on a Ruyan patent. It would have to be an altogether different product. Ruyan was concerned that e-Cig could potentially take over the market and did indeed use them as a scapegoat to warn others. You are probably asking how there are several manufacturers of e-cigs? Well that is strictly between Ruyan and the other manufacturers, most likely they came to a financial agreement first, instead of just jumping on the bandwagon.
-
Hon Lik of Ruyan actually does have intellectual property rights to the atomization technology and original design of the electronic cigarette and also won a case over e-Cig, a China-based illicit manufacturer of electronic cigarettes and accessories. e-Cig was actually required to pay compensation to Ruyan for damages, destroy all of its stock of inventory and agree to never engage in the electronic cigarette business again. Just goes to show that Ruyan will go after anyone. Ruyan has 15 invention, utility and design patents in China and has registered patents in more than 50 countries, including in the U.S.

Royce you and I have always been in synch. I loved the PeeWee but availability of parts forced me to upgrade to the 901 and yeehaw!! that baby gives good vape!!!
