I certainly agree. Did you notice they are accepting only 32 participants. I did a smoking cessation study at Stanford many years back and there were well over 500 participants as so many did drop out for a variety of reasons. Me thinks this may NOT be good for ecigs, only time will tell.

Nice find!! So i dug a little deeper and found additional info on the "investigator" Thomas Eissenberg, Professor, Director of Clinical Behavioral Pharmacology Laboratory and I found this interesting that his most recent class he taught at VCU is Grant Writing, graduate level. Johnson Creek's New Formula Is Here!
Vacker1229 replied to StringDancer's topic in General Vaping Discussion
a little off-topic but StringDancer are you going to become a supplier soon? Thought I saw something to that effect in my e-travels. -
I sure did, and still do. Can't taste it but you get a little scorch on the back of your throat. Yes I am a little insane.

Just for the record I don't think it is stupid to add tobasco to your current juice. Call me crazy but I have been mixing my own for a few months now. I buy 36mg and put 1 part 36 w/ 3 parts glycerin and yes I did lose the throat hit. Sooooo I had seen somewhere that TW puts pepper essence (don't know if that is fact or fiction) into their juice to give it a kick so I said what the hell why not. I only put in 1 drop into a 10ml bottle and low and behold I got my kick. Hmmm, long term affects = unknown. But I will be here to tell you of an adverse implications.

Life Insurance Policy Woes...
Vacker1229 replied to Christopher's topic in General Vaping Discussion
What I am thinking is if I die in some sort of accident or heart failure the odds of them doing a toxicology test (which is pricey and unnecessary) are slim at best. So they just won't know about the nicotine. Plus the nicotine level from e-cigs is (they say) 1/10th that of an analog -- which is possibly the equivalent of eating a bell pepper that also is loaded with nicotine. Hmmm, all scientists are welcome to respond. Man-o-man VaporTalk is gonna get some hits now! haha -
Life Insurance Policy Woes...

Well - my thoughts are -- that blows!! sucks!! whatever!! so when they ask me that question I will "just say NO!!" to tobacco use and will not elaborate on my nicotine use. -
we stood around and watched when analogs came to a halt. We chatted in bars and restaurants saying it wasn't right but low and behold the anti-smokers didn't sit still. So we do need to stand up for what we think is right. The word must go out. What ever happened to the petition with 10K sigs, did that go anywhere? Let's hope it went to the right people.

Ladies, the one I got went in the tank in 1 & 1/2 months -- I just cannot recommend the seller. 2 bad batteries with original purchase and both replaced with more bad batteries. Attys worked for about 2 months. I have not purchased from that supplier again.

I just got scared cuz that list looks like my weekly shopping list, heck I don't want to give up everything -- just smoking!!

Actually Cooper is working on the ban of sales to minors in his area only which is Suffolk County but of course this will very well lead to other areas and other bans. We watched it happen with analogs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx-iRjA_tRw

Glad you found this. Yes menthol drops are very different than just mint flavoring. but and yes Vacker always has a but, this stuff is somewhat hazardous. I attached this warning from some site on internet, although I believe they are talking about extremely pure high levels of this stuff. I really don't think a few drops will be an issue. I have been using it for months. It is used in aromatherapy and lotions, this is where the disclaimer below came from an herb ingredient place. So use at your own risk, but I feel you need to see this. NFPA Ratings: Health: 2 Flammability: 1 Reactivity: 0 Label Hazard Warning: DANGER! MAY BE FATAL IF SWALLOWED. HARMFUL IF INHALED. CAUSES IRRITATION TO SKIN, EYES AND RESPIRATORY TRACT. MAY CAUSE ALLERGIC REACTION. Label Precautions: Avoid breathing dust. Avoid breathing vapor. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Keep container closed. Use only with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling.
