Hi HunnyBunny, I am always here *lurking* -- just don't post as much.

I have been vaping for quite some time (see banner below) and I have had no changes in my prescription from 2 years ago. I have been wearing glasses since before I could walk (birth defect). and at my age 59 the changes to my vision occured in my mid 40s. I do have a different set of glasses that I wear just for the monitor, I got them cuz I stare at the screen for 8+ hours a day and the glare in hazardous to my retina. Anyway my point being is if you are pushing 45 your vision will change whether or not you ever had a vision problem, secondly if you stare at a screen all day you should be wearing "computer" lenses. As far as cataracts no answer for that. I do take meds for the creeping up of glaucoma. Otherwise I feel pretty gosh dang good for my age.

thanks all, lots of good answers here, but I am thinking that what I got was DeKang. Perhaps it is the flavors I was using and not the base, maybe I should stay away from the tobaccco-type flavors as that could be the culprit. Hmmm, the blueberry also got comments but that was only cuz they were looking for the smell. I will use the smelly stuff at home where my honey doesn't care but I really don't want to ruin a good thing at the office. I do remember when I first got my pv and bottled juices and was vaping in my fav watering hole and the comments were "wow it doesn't smell like anything, maybe a little sweet", sooooo that being said I bess juz go back to 1st supplier, alathough organic sounds interesting. Actually i do taste it a little. I think it is the base that the flavor is in, as my peeps here have said my flavors all smell the same to them. In the past i had to exhale on someone for them to get a scent. Clearly I will have to go back to another supplier. I do know there are a couple of major manufacturers and one is DaKang and I don't recall the other. Some of the administrators here at VaporTalk are into all that so i am just waiting for them to chime in with their wealth of knowledge.

nope it is not my co-workers, i too have noticed if i am vaping in one place then leave the room and return I too can smell it. It is definately my new vendor. Like i said for 21 months no complaints until 2 months ago. seems it is all flavors, from tobacco to blueberry - they all leave a musty odor.

After 21 months of vaping in my cubicle at work, in the last 2 months I have received numerous complaints that the juice smells up the area. I did make a purchase from another vendor and just wondering if his supplier is using something different in the juice. I do know there are various manufacturers of juice and perhaps one is more smelly than another. Anyone else notice that their juice is smelly? Please advise as to which juices do NOT have a residual odor and I will gladly spend my money there. I like vaping in the office too much to start going outside. any and all advice is welcome.

That is great news!! I have travelled many times with my various parts so i can assemble on the plane. I too have never had any issues. Batteries in camera case, juice in make up bag, attys in pocket and i just toss them into bucket with coins and belt and such, and no one has ever questioned what they are. Actually they picked em up and looked but didn't flinch. I do vape in my airline seat with the blanket over my nose and mouth, no questions asked. Beware of some juices: I got a batch of juice from one vendor and was vapeing at my desk at the office and a guy came over and asked "what is that smell? I showed him my unit, and he said, "hmmm, no i don't think that is it, smells like BO". Well I left my desk and came back and YES it did leave an odor that was pretty stinky, it was a turkish blend juice. So I tried another flavor (Hickory) at home and i left the room and came back and YES it too was stinky. So needless to say I will not be buying from that vendor again. I like the juice but it leaves a heavy scent in the air, and perhaps on my clothes. I did spill a drop and it left an oily stain on my shirt that will not come out. So whatever flavoring he is using is probably oil based which may not be too good for attys.

I think it would be really tedious for a supplier to stock little tiny bottles of 1ml as tasters. I just trade my unwanted flavors with close friends, and so on and so on. Eventually someone likes the flavor, as it is just personal preference.

I really like the 3ml sample bottles from Arno, I get a taste of something new and it is not an investment. AND it is a feel good thing to get a freebie!! If you go to 5ml then you will definately need to charge for that, and the cost of the million bottles and on and on...
