I was a menthol smoker and yes I did miss the cool menthol throat hit. So now I add "real" menthol to all my juices. It's a personal taste and the stuff is really strong so anyone using should use caution cuz it would take a lotta juice to dilute real menthol drops. Another good thing about menthol drops is if I buy a flavor I really do not like the menthol is so strong it will bury any other flavors. Yep I too read that in the instruction book sometime back in January. I have not followed the instructions completely as I sometimes like to live on the edge. All in all my batts have lasted a reasonable amount of time based on my individual usage. I find I vape all day long and the darn thing is usually just in my hand, when driving, when typing, when walking around, when sitting in a bar havin' a beverage. The day it was in my pocket was when I was gardening and didn't want to lay it in the dirt and I had my hands in the dirt -- so in my pocket it went and yes the button got pushed, the atty got activated and that gave a whole new meaning to "hot pants".

Yep I can relate to this move, I pulled the cart off and that atty was blazin' red hot!!!

I actually have 2 VP1s for the 901. 1st version had unprotected battery but boy is that a great model!! Vape-alicious!! 2nd version is a little longer and had the protected battery also a very good model!! I've gotten past the looking like a cig thing and who cares about colors -- just give me the critical stuff 1. taste 2. throat hit 3. vapor 4. consistently work with no fowlups. absolutely yes on all 4 counts -- Me like this thang!!

Actually I have my original charger for auto batts and I DO charge my manual batts in it. All I do is pop out the little rubber button and twirl the batt right into the original charger. Works like a dream -- just don't lose the little button.
