Hey Prouddad, When trying a new juice and I don't want to fill up a carto/tank before I know I like the juice, I direct drip using a clean atty. You can use Everclear or 91% rubbing alcohol. Just put the atty in a glass and pour the alcohol over it. Let it sit for 15 - 30 minutes. After soaking, blow at the atty and let sit over night. You will need to prime the atty before using it. I drink some coke zero and that gets the taste out so I can taste the next juice.

Not if they are suppose to be pre-filled. Have you taken the rubber top off and looked into the carto?

Success! I removed the plastic piece and the vapor is so much better. I was wondering about the life span of the tank cart. I wondering if I use a syringe to refill the cart instead of taking the cap off, will the cart last longer? Any idea where the cart was leaking from?

There is 24 mg of nic in the whole bottle, no matter what size bottle you ordered. I don't believe I have seen anything on a bottle that would explain that. The nic has been made into a liquid. I don't know the process. But depending on the size of the batch, the amount of pg and/or vg, and the amount of flavoring needed to make the flavor, the nic will be added accordingly, to make make the desired strength. NEWS FLASH ***** MY TANK ATTY CAME IN TODAY! ***** I'm sure just about everyone here is sick and tired of my wining about waiting for the tank atty to come (I was getting sick of listening to myself! LOL). The best news is "It works"! But, its like going back to school after you have been out for a while. The tank is a whole new ball of wax. I have been sucking on carto's. I went to inhale on my tank, the way I inhale with a carto, and I just about died. OMG, I got the nasty burning taste in my mouth and lungs. My first thought was, this is crap, but then I remembered Aimee's post about the nasty plastic taste she got. I went back and watched videos on the subject to find out what I was doing wrong. I learned: not to fill the cart up to much. If you do, it will not allow air to get in so the juice will flow into the atty like it should at first. When using a cart for the first time, when you push it into the atty and puncture the plastic top, twist the cart around a couple of times just to make sure the plastic piece that the atty cut out, does not get in the way of juice getting into the atty. High levels of VG does not work well in the tank. It is too thick to keep the atty wicked. Most importantly, you take a slow and steady inhale. Over all, I love it and it was well worth the loooong wait. Thanks everyone for being patient with me when I couldn't be patient.

Oh Elaine, what a wonderful, yet said, memory. I guess he did know something. Did you wonder why he was taking you out and telling you to order anything you wanted? I mean, was that customary for you two? And then to order wine after he hadn't drank any alcohol for 15 years? How are you holding up? Are you feeling ok with your medical problems? Hang in there Tags, some time in the future, things will be better. It must be hard to have to be strong 100% of the time for your children? Yep, I understand, I have a 17 year old daughter and I don't want to give her the idea that you have to have alcohol to relax or have a good time, ..etc! Drinking is not a issue here, its just the two of us. But, when she goes to bed, sometimes I do enjoy sitting down with a glass of wine and my ecig. It's not an every night occurrence, but every now and then, I like to feel like a big girl! LOL

Bummer PsychoMaster! Some days are better than others! Yeah, I had a problem with my pocket pressing my button too. I just got one of the pocket protectors the other day. It works well, just takes a little getting use to. Are you cleaning your atty's and carto's. Depending on the juice you use, your usage, the usage between cleaning varies. If you take care of them, they will take care of you. Julie will be along soon and she can give you the 411 about cleaning atty's and carto's. Think about getting a button protector or something you can put on your belt that will protect your ecig. Good luck.

I found this: 1. Make sure the little plastic tab isn't hanging like a "chad". I've found that spinning the tank on the atty will cause it to break off. Sometimes that hanging-chad creates just enough space that a leak could occur. 2. Back the atty off the battery just a bit for easier airflow. The suction from use could be pulling too much juice into the wick. and, I've had two "leak" now. My original eval unit leaked form the factory, and one of my purchased units developed a leak yesterday. First and foremost, e-liquid viscosity has a lot to do with it. I have some very "thin" 555 that I received from a reputable vendor, and it will run through the "T" like poop through a goose. The wicking delivery system just will not work with such a "watery" liquid. Secondly, it has been noted that the "fluff" of the wick and its position in the piercing tube can also have an effect on delivery.... going from not enough flow (dry, burning taste) to too much flow (leak). Both of my "leakers" were "fixed" by adjusting the wick..... I'm glad I was able to resurrect them, but I really wish such "adjustments" weren't necessary. If you hold all the vapor in your mouth, until your mouth is full, and then inhale it all into you lungs, you get an awesome throat hit. Be careful because sometimes if the nic level is high you can get light headed. If your throat gets scratchy, have a sip of wine. A little wine make everything just a little bit nicer. LOL
