Oh my goodness, Boys and their toys. I guess it is true, the only difference between boys and men are the price of their toys! Can you make one in Pink???? LOL!

Come on Tags, just a few more to go! TroopX, you need to step up your game so you can find out what lurks on the other side.

Wow, good for you. You skipped right over Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, ... and went right to 9th grade. Your going to love your eGo Tank!
-
Hey Dave, Glad to hear your not giving up vaping, because you have to help me get the monthly South Central PA Vape Meet together! And besides, you have to wear out that eGo - T kit you won! I don't know about anyone else, but I don't even read the smoke free counters. Hang in there Dave!

It's the "Snow" e-liquid.
-
I bought a 6ml bottle of "Snow" from BlueMistvaping that I like to add a drop or two to my other juices. Menthol vaping is so much better then smoking, I agree!

Thanks Morfees. I am so glad your a tinkerer!!! I went to her website and its down for maintenance at the moment, I'll check back later. As far as the little rubber cap over the atty, I keep loosing them down the drain. I emailed COV asking if I can buy just the rubber cap. Bruce emailed me back that he is sending me a few, but that they are in short supply. Maybe I'm not the only one washing them down the drain!!!! LOL

DayVape, I wish more vendors that make there own e-liquids would sell the flavorings too!

Tags, I know what you are saying about getting a sample bottle and then ordering a larger bottle and the taste is different. I don't know if you are getting the sample with zero nic or the nic mg is the same in both items? If you are sampling a juice with zero nic and then order a bottle with nic, the flavor will be different.

The bottle of PG that you found at the drug store, what was listed as the ingredients? PG is used in a lot of different products, laxatives are just one of the many. You can buy Vegetable Glycerine at stores that sell cake decorating supplies. It is sold as Glycerine. Also check with your drug store, a lot of them sell Gylcerine. You will have to buy your nic online, unless there is a Vaping Store in your area. I can buy LorAnn's flavorings at a local Cake and Candy supply store by my house. Do a google search and see if there is one near your home. When buying LorAnn's, check the bottle to make sure it doesn't have oil and one of the ingredients.

Great review Morfees. Glad you are enjoying your new toy. Boy, I bet thats quite a light show in the dark. I don't guess stealth vaping would be an option. Unless you can turn the light off!!! LOL When replacing the CE 2 in the 4ml lighted tank, is the light a separate item, or do you have to replace it with a CE 2 that has the light attached?

Is This Guy Stupid Or On The Money?
Sharon replied to lightbringer's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Hi Lightbringer, Read the list of ingredients on the bottle before you put anything in your juice or on your atty. There are different types of vanilla extracts on the market. Some are artificial, some are natural, and some are pure vanilla. DON"T ever put something that has oil mixed in it. Also, some of the natural ingredients contain a form of sugar. Sugar residue will stick on your atty, gunk it up. IMO, I would be very cautious about putting vanilla extract in your juice!!!! -
Tags. Here is a e-liquid calculator that should help you with mixing juices. http://www.todmuller.com/ejuice/ejuice.php and http://www.e-cig-reviews.com/eliquid%20calculator.html . This one is really good, just a little more complicated http://ejuice.breaktru.com/ . The Juice me up application requires you to download the application. The DYI Flavorshack is a good place and so is http://www.onestopdiyshop.com/ and http://shop.perfumersapprentice.com/c-108-the-flavor-apprentice-world-of-flavors.aspx . You can buy the VG from Michaels and Walmart in the cake decorating department. I have heard some members say that they bought PG from the drug store. The drug stores in this one horse town has no idea what I am talking about! But I did buy a gallon for $25 at the local Tractor Supply Co. Here is their website in case there isn't a store in your area. http://www.tractorsupply.com/ To measure your liquids, you can use a syringe or a dropper with the ml/cc marked. I got one in the baby department at Walmart. The calculators give you the recipethe in drops and ml/cc. I find that the droppers are all different, so I like to use the ml/cc. When you buy the flavorings, buy several that sound good to you. I have several flavors of LorAnn's, Flavor Apprentice, and Flavour Art. They are all different as to how strong the flavor is and how much you will need to achieve the flavor you are looking for. On your first attempt, stick with just one flavor. Make a small batch, 3ml. Once you feel comfortable with just using one flavor, venture out into mixing different flavoring together, but stick with the small batch. From trial and error, I don't add the nic until after I drop a couple of drops of the mix on my atty to see if I like the flavor. I wasted a lot of nic before figuring this out. LOL Also, let the juice steep for a few days. Letting it set will allow the liquids to marry and it will change the taste somewhat. When buying the unflavored nic, check the different vendors that sell e-liquid and compare prices. The nic comes in different strengths. The calculator will ask you for the strength you are using and tell you how much you need to add to your pg/vg in order to get the nic mg juice you want. Unflavored nic will be in a base. Some vendors will allow you to choose if you want the base to be PG, VG, or both. If you prefer your e-liquids to be mostly PG, buy your nic in a PG base. And the same for VG. If you find a vendor that only sells it in a pg/vg mix and the prices is the best, go with that, but keep this in mind when you are mixing your juices. Also keep in mind that the higher the nic mg in the unflavored form will mean the less you will use to get your juice to the nic mg. I hope this us useful to you and welcome to the wonderful, and sometimes frustrating, world of DIY!!!!!

HurryCaine3000, IMO, you will continue to be disappointed in the e-cigs that look like cigarettes. They are pretty much the same thing. In my experience, prior to getting an eGo, I was disappointed, frustrated, and broke. First I bought the Smoke 51 that advertised one cartridge was equivalent to a pack of cigarettes. Shoot, one cartridge wasn't even equivalent to one cigarette. I went through the five cartridges before the battery even went dead. It was a good think though, the kit only came with one battery!!!! That unit cost me $70. Then I tried the Direct e cig. Stupid me got another kit that only had one battery. But the cartridges did last me longer. So when the battery went dead I thought, maybe I should order another kit. That way I would have two batteries. So I ordered another kit at $70. So far I have spent $210. After about 4 days I was out of cartridges, so I ordered a set of 50 pre filled cartridges that only cost me $60. Now I am up to $270. The first cartridge I put on the atty, the filling material stuck to the atty. So I opened another cartridge thinking the first one was defective. Huh, the second one did the same thing. Long story short, I opened all 50 and all 50 did the same thing. Now I am pissed. I called the company. It took me several phone calls before I actually got through. The Representative told me that they would not give me a refund because I had opened them up and no one else was having this problem. But they did offer to sell me a package of 5 pre filled cartomizers for $30. I relented and bought the carto's. When the cartomizers came in I thought I was in heaven, they worked so well. And one cartomizer lasted me about 2 hours. Needless to say I went through the cartomizers pretty quick. The total now is $300. Finally, a light bulb went off in my brain (slow but sure). This crap is costing me more than smoking!!!!! A little late to the party, I got on the internet and starting searching e-cigs. Thank goodness I found this forum. The folks here directed me to the eGo. I got the eGo kit for $78, and go figure, there were two batteries. The story has a happy ending though, I am now a very happy vapor. The moral of the story, listen to the people who have a lot more experience and save yourself from the same experience and frustration I had. Trust me when I say, I am not the exception here. There are a lot of members that got here the same way I did. Please reconsider your desire to get an e cig that looks like a cigarette. I also have great news for you. BlueMistvaping.com is opening a store in York, PA.

Here is the most intelligent answer I can give to someone who pays taxes, a mortgage, and a car note, "Go buy Nicotine Patches". You shouldn't have a problem since you are over the age of 21.

Psychomaster, You've come to the wrong group of vapor's if your looking for help with spending on vaping devices, juices, and supplies! Click that button!!!!! LOL I am so jealous! I want a ProVari, but I only have $20 left on my "Available Credit". Just enough for 15 ml bottle of one of my top 100 juices. Sorry Psychomaster I have to get to that website before the credit card company applies this months interest and the $20 is gone. Hope you love your ProVari!!!!!!

Hey Cheshy, Shopping for a Mod can be fun and frustrating all at the same time. I was just wondering! If you feel that you are more comfortable vaping at 3.7 volts, do you really want to invest the money to buy a VV mod. From everything I have read the ProVari is an excellent Mod. The electronics on this mod is fascinating. My pea brain hasn't been able to comprehend when you would want to vape at 5 - 7 volts. I'm working on it though!! I just got the BombShell last Thursday. It's working great so far, thank goodness!! What I don't like about this Mod is the size and the weight. Is the size and weight important to you? Nana gave you some good information on the Provape. And I agree with her regarding the weight of the ProVari. I sure wish you great success in your quest to find a mod that is right for you. Let me know what you decide to go with.

CDA, So far the wick is working well for me. Since I didn't get one with the looping wick, I can't compare. With a 5ml MAP Tank sitting on top of my BombShell, this thing looks illegal. I can't imagine what a 10ml would look like!!!! LOL No stealth vaping with this baby!! My neighbor dropped in yesterday and my mod with the tank was sitting on my kitchen counter. She never asked me what it was, but she just kept looking over at it!!!! I'll let you know if the FBI pays me a call! LOL
-
Looks great! Small, compact, and VV!!!! Let us know how you like it. Especially the battery life!
-
I got my 5ml 2.8 ohm MAP Tank mod this past Friday. The wick in the new design is just like the new Fluxomizers, only one piece that threads through the coils and hangs down the tank. No more double loops. Also, MAP stopped making the Mini MAP Tanks, to hard to make. They are coming out with a 10ml MAP Tank. You won't have to fill that baby up for a couple of days. I think I would get tired of vaping the same juice that long!!!
-
Blake, you aced with your pictures!!! How did you do that???? My experiences with Liberty-Flights replacing their products has been a very positive one. They responded quickly and I had my replacement within the week. In my limited experience with reputable e-cig vendors, I have found them to be very helpful and quick to rectify any problems. Even the ones that the issue was with me and not their product. LOL! Good luck and let us know how it works out.
-
Fran thats such a good idea! Are they the little ones you can use for your hair? I'm adding it to my grocery list now!!!!
-
Aimee, I'm glad to read you were able to make a decision. I know I hemmed and hawwed over buying a Mod. What I really wanted wasn't even close to my budget. The funny part is that I have spent lots of money buying eGo batteries, and I have a nice collection, because I know they are good and dependable. But spending a little bit more then the cost of my first eGo Kit, threw me for a loop. I know you are going to be patiently waiting for your Vape Mate to arrive in the mail!!!! LOL Can't wait to hear all about your new toy!!

Brian, Awesome link!!! I read the whole thing, including the links in the thread. I also copied some of them to a work document because I know I am not going to remember all of this. My brain is just not naturally wired for electronic comprehension!!!!!! LOL You rock my man!!
