It's only been 4 weeks since I quit but I seem to remember coughing when I first started vaping. Like a "clean out the junk" kind of cough. Now if I cough at all, it's kind of a - well - wait, I really don't cough at all now!

Ah my friend, most of us have tried and tried AGAIN with quitting before we got onto vaping. I tried Chantix TWICE, which has to be some kind of record for stupidity. I can honestly tell you that quitting smoking with vapins has been THE most painless thing I have ever done. If only dieting were this easy!

I am an Atomic Cinnacide FREAK - so much so that, this late at night, I am sitting here chain vaping the no nic doubler just because I love the TASTE. I liked the Tasty Cherry Cola, I did NOT like the German Chocolate Cake, but my problem is that 30 years of smoking menthol pretty much killed my taste buds, so I can;'t taste a lot of these amazing flavors. Finally got the fixins on the way to start making my own!

So, I'm just starting out here but I wanted people new to mixing to know that you can do some pretty fun stuff just with the juices you have that you might not be too crazy about. I typically don't taste most pre-made juices except for Vapor Renew's double and triple shots, but I got some Loranns flavorings from Jolly, and... I had some 100% VG Pina Colada. The thing about VG is that you REALLY can't taste flavors if you have dead taste buds, SO I added about 3 drops of Pineapple, 3 drops of Pear, and 3 drops of Marshmallow (for sweetness) and shook it all up in a 6 ml bottle that was about 3/4 full of the Pina Colada. Yum yum yum. I also added some Strawberry and some Cheesecake to something else - honetly can't remember what but I couldn't taste it anyway. And BOY was THAT good. The other thing about 100% VG is WOW clouds of vapor. That makes it very fun for me. Preparing my order for droppers, mixing bottles, PG/VG base - a girl could go broke ordering all these fabulous flavors.

Way to go! It does get easier, and I honestly can't imagine having any around. BUT I have so much juice and flavoring around right now, my counter looks like a kids' science kit.

So, today, the Loranns flavors that Jolly unloaded on me - er, I mean, ghraciously agreed to send me - heh - came in the post, and while I should have been studying Policies in Healthcare, I couldn't resist and added some Strawberry and some Cheesecake flavor to a rather blah juice I had sitting around. Meaning one I couldn't taste anyway. And I must tell you that, as we speak, I am contentedly, and somewhat smugly, sitting here vaping away on the smoothest sweetest, nicest tasting thing I have vaped to date. DIY for the win! And by the way, Jolly, AMAZING packaging in sending those bottles. Holy cow!

I will, cheshyl, thanks. It's all a matter of trial and error and everyone finding their sweet spot and taste - and then of course, tastes change. And thanks you guys for clearing that up about the Todd's.

Way to go, Ryan!! Aren't new toys fun? The thing is that vaping even the best tobacco flavors will never really taste like cigarettes because, as Chris has pointed out here several times, a lot of the "taste" of smoking cigarettes comes from the fact that tobacco and a lot of other scary stuff is BURNING and you're taking burning smoke into your mouth and lungs. (which sounds kind of freaky, now that I think about it in retrospect). That's why a lot of people end up going for other strong flavors like coffee flavors or strong spices like cinnamon or pumpkin, and others get into the fruity or dessert stuff. You'll find it. Have fun!

Noooooooooooooooo! Oh dear. Well, at least help is on the way, right?

So today I take one of my new bottle of e-juice that seems to come out a little hard, I don't know why. It's a new FULL bottle of 30 ml of 24 mg juice. It's early. I'm impatient, so I am squeezing HARDER to get the juice out and FLOOSH! The little squeezy top blows off and the juice blows out, with much of it RIGHT in my face. And eyes. In which are contacts. And of course, through the pain of having anything blow right into my eyes, all I can think of is the info about how straight nicotine is poisonous and the fact that my little dogs are running around on the floor by me and I can't open my eyes to see if the juice went on the floor and my dogs are going to lick it up. Well, I'll save you the suspense. I didn't die. Or go blind. Turns out none of it went on the floor and I got everything cleaned up. About 3/4 of my new bottle of Pina Colada, doggone it. I'm pretty sure I don't remember a pack of analogs opening up and flying out of the package at me trying to kill me!! (We will ignore the 3,000 times I burned myself or something else with a "hot cherry".) Honestly. The crap I get myself into. And yes, I know, don't squeeze the bottle like that again.

DerstadtSchutz is Todd? I was embarrassed to post that because Todd was so nice to throw in an extra bottle and I didn't want to complain? It's just all a matter of taste, I guess. I got the PM - will reply.

Well, with that in mind, I got some 1100% VG juices - a sampler pack - from Vaperite. And wouldn't ya know it, I can't taste them AND I have discovered that 100% VG juices feel kind of slimy to me (not a good way to describe it but maybe someone else will know what I mean). I have Lenoade/ lemon drop Pina Colada Bleberry pancake Cake batter Apple Organic Waffle Sweet Cinnaamon They are little 3 ml bottles and Todd, bless his heart, threw in an extra for great customer service. I just can't taste them (member of the flavor blocked club, remember?) If anyone wants them, they are welcome to them.

Ahhhhh. Morning coffee and a good vape to go along with it. The only thing better will be when spring comes and I can go out on the deck with my feet up and listen to the birds sing. And the lung thing? I cleared out a lot at first too. But my husband and I both commented how WEIRD it is not to have the both of us coughing our lungs out in the morning. DDid anyone else ever progress to the point that you had that first morning analog and got light headed enough that you had to sit down cuz your CO level was too high or something? Yeah. THAT was fun. And I still did it every stupid morning!!

GAH! Another toy to drool over!!!

Juliery, LoriHNC and I just completed our first trade for the both of us. I sent her some stuff I wasn't crazy about and she loved, and she reciprocated. It was so fun!

I'm so glad to hear this! As you know, I am also among the "flavor challenged" and I just got 3 new juices from Vapor Renu at the same time. (I think we all gave in to Juliery's urgings at the same time! ) I got Big Red Gum, cuz as we all know, I am a cinnamon freak - and it was really good and really strong. I got Mt. Dew Code Red - not as strong but good. And Pina Colada. Much smoother. If I got it again I wouold get a triple shot, while I got all doubles the first go around. However, YOU, Beans, have me with Tangerine and Pumpkin Spice on my wishlist!

I don't know, but getting dressed AFTERWARD to go outside to have a cigarette - I sure don't miss THAT part!

I know. Can't wait. I don't have any nic juice or plain PG or VG but I have some "blah to me" juices that I can accentuate. And for Halloween this year I'm going as a Mad Scientist Vaper.

Video of one going off in the hotel would be funnier - especially if we got to see the FD coming and all that. Just sayin'.

ah, but this isn't a regular cigarette. Think of the button as the on switch that supplies battery power to the atomizer - what makes the vapor. Otherwise it would all go up in vapor at once, like a cigarette will burn down to nothing even without anyone puffing on it.
