  1. ARG.....Back ups Back ups Back ups. You've made me a hoarder, I have enough Back ups to get me through the apocalypse. Hmmm....Maybe that's a good thing. Unfortunately there's nothing left for me to buy at the moment......except a MOD
  2. I had a ton of problems getting my carts to wick properly, Im also an Atty killer lol. I don't know why. I started using cartos in Feb, and haven't gone back. The cartos are convient for me. They hold over 1 ml of juice, wich is good because I vape at least 10 mls a day. So it's a lot less filling for me. As well as it's never hit or miss. They work every time for me. When I was using attys and carts it seemed like I was pulling them apart every 10 minutes to fiddle with. I do want to say that an equal amount of people have problems with cartos here. I think it comes down to what you like best. Everyones different and expects different results from their vaping. If your new I would try to buy a few of each and experiment. You never know what you may like. I resisted cartos for months till I broke down. Now I'm a die hard. Good luck! I forgot to add a Carto is an Atty and cart in one. there is filling in side that you never have to remove or change. They can also be cleaned and reused IF you like, but they are disposable and cheap.
  3. I want to hear what you think about your mega Cartos Cheshyl. Maybe I did something wrong, but it felt like I was just sucking air with mine. Good luck!
  4. I've never had that happen to me, butI have heard of it. I'm sure someone will Let you know whats going wrong shortly. My thought is you were possibly letting it get to dry and hitting it too long and close together. Just a theory. Try letting it cool off in-between hits, maybe at least 10-20 seconds in-between. Also were your carts the pre filled ones? Those tend to be cheap and not as good IMHO. I no longer use carts. I'm a Carto girl, but VT, VK both carry good products. Good luck and let us know if you figure it out.
  5. That stinks, sorry for your loss. I've gotten batches of bad attys and cartos myself
  6. Congrats! :animier: I just love converting people! It's becoming a mission lol. Great work! :animier:
  7. That's what I do too. Except I use some cool luminary paints and color code my cartos for the appropriate flavors. I hate mixing flavors, and my cartos look so pretty!

    Pg Or Vg

I don't understand a lot about the two, but I will share what I know. PG produces better TH, VG better vapor and it's slightly sweet. I like to use a mix. 70/30 PG/VG.
  9. I use my batts until I feel like their not producing as well, then charge. I haven't lost one yet. I'm sure you will hear both sides of the argument though. Maybe it comes down to personal preference. Try as many juices as you can. Taste is subjective. Good luck and welcome to VT?
  10. Have you used other Atty brands on your Beautiful New Provari? I remember reading something about higher voltage devices burning out attys/cartos quicker. Could that be it? Just a thought. Te he....He said abreast
  11. I've never had problems with my VT products, but I know they are stand up people. I'm happy its all fixed now!
  12. Well said. I agree totally, I had tried to drop my nic also...I'm back to 24 mg now, still down from 36. People are always asking me when I'm going to quit vaping. I tell them never, I'm a lifer and I'm ok with it. I'm so much healthier than I ever was before. Vape on People!
  13. That's wonderful, I'm so gabby for you both! :animier:
  14. The Boge cartomizer is a name brand, I like them some don't. I get mine from Vapor Kings their link is on the front page. I have a hard time my self finding a juice with great TH. Try reading the juice reviews, that may lead you to something you like. I get the best TH juices at my local shop. They are expensive but when I need that kick. Other wise I get the rest of my juice at Vapor Renu, however many think throat hit is lacking from them. I agree, but their prices are really good, and Im cheap. Congrats on the quit! I know what a challenge it is.
  15. Buying a second kit is a GERAT idea. I have gotten 4 my self and am happy I did. I may have gone overboard, but I am determined to never smoke again! Cartomizers are an Atty/cart all in one. Mine hold about 28 drops of liquid. I top mine off after about 30 minutes of chain vaping. If you can afford a box, I would buy them too. The more options you have to try the greater success IMHO. Then again I have become obsessed with vaping. Vapor kings sell Boge 2.0 OHM cartomizers aka cartos for $9 for a back of 5. Also if you haven't seen them, always look for coupon codes. Most companies have them and can save you between 10-20% of your order total. Another thought Look at liberty flights. They might have the same items for less money. They are a good source. And FYI at liberty flights they sell RIVAS the eGo/Tornado knock off, I really like my RIVAS. I know I'm giving you a lot of info. I hope I'm not overwhelming you.
  16. Yes, it's like the quilt batting. The blue stuff is filter material for fish tank filters. They are all VERY cheap. You just cut to size to size and shove it in. All of us had a hard time finding juice we love, Taste is subjective and will start changin on you since you quit smoking. Read some of the reviews for juice on the front page. This may help. All I can say is trial and error. The vendors on VT have good juice from what I hear. You may want to try several vendors till you settle onsomeyou love. I suggest buying small bottles to try so if you hate something your not stuck with a ton of it. Your welcome!
  17. No problems, I want you to succeed! 1. Always have backups. The Atty may last you a day or a month. You can just never know. 2. Vapor Renu sells juice 30 mls for $7 Their TH throat hit isn't strong but higher nic levels tend to give better TH. I don't know how much you smoked. Me 1-2 PPD 27 years. I use 24 mg nic my self. Also to get a better TH. Put it in your mouth, push the button for 2 seconds then draw into your mouth slowly for 5-7 seconds release button then inhale into your lungs. This greatly helps. 3. Yes, you should be fine. However you may want to invest in an extra charger. Mine seem to break after a month or so. Back up of everything is very important for success. If your charger breaks it ma take a week to replace. Then your back to the nasty sticks. 4. I prefer cartomizers myself. I have several tank set ups, however the flavor isn't the same for me. What you need to understand is that what works for some doesn't for others. I have tried attys and carts like you have and hated them. The tank is ehe as far as I'm concerned, but other people swear for by them. I worship my Boge cartomizers but other members can't get them to work well enough to keep buying. It is all subjective. Remember your on a journey and have to figure out what works best for you. It may seem pricey at first and very confusing, but once you find what works, it can all be found cheaply.
  18. My best advice is to go for the $14 dollar cone tank Atty and the clear 5 pack of empty tank carts. Do you have plenty of juice? It seems like average people go through 2-6 mls of juice daily. I can go as much as 12-15 mls a day. Also the clear tank mouth parts can be reused cleaned and reused again, but need cleaning between refills for optimal vaping. 2 packs might be good.
  19. No problem, You will need the tank ATTY. That's the metal part that connects to your battery. I would get at least 2 and a box ot tanks. The clear plastic mouth piece part that attaches to the Atty. They come in a box of 5. I'll go to the web site right now and see if I can help.
  20. Yes you can buy the Atty and the tank separately. Remember you need both, but they will work on your batteries. I would disregard anything that says you will get 100 puffs or a cart will last as long as a packs of cigs.. That is simply just a marketing tool. The Tanks do last a long time. Maybe an hour or two for me, but I do vape constantly. My best advice is, when you leave the house, always carry an extra battery, carts and juice with you. You will be able to figure out in time how much you need to pack around, but you don't ever want to run out. Back ups is something always preached around here.
  21. You have to refill your carts, or top them off when they start tasting burnt. It takes a bit to get it down and can be frustrating at first, it's the learning curve you will hear about. The inside filler of the cart should always look like a slushy. When you vape with a cart and Atty it's normal to top off every few minutes. If you don't like that process you may want to try a Cartomizer or a Tank system. They both hold more juice so you have less filling in between uses. You can use both of these parts on your tornado. No worries it will get easier. Your friend with the cheaper version... Is it a 2 piece? She may be using a cartomizer, however I may refill mine 15 times a day. I vape almost constantly. Depending on how much you vape will determine how often you refill anything.
  22. Hi birdievk, Your talking about Polly fiber / filler. You can get it at the craft stores, I have blue filler too. You can find that at the pet store in the aquarium area. It's all very inexpensive. As far as I understand the filler goes bad quickly (2-4) fillings, but you can throw it out and add your own. The carts are plastic and can be rinsed and reused indefinitely as far as I know. Are you refilling your carts? How often you change or refill all depends on how much you vape. I find that I vape a lot more than I smoked. You may find the same. If cost is an issue like it is with many of us, there are a lot of great companies with very low prices. As soon as you get your method down and know what you like you can find just about everything you need for cheap. Just let us know what your looking for, and we can help you with that. Good luck and please let us know if you have more questions.
