Thanks for coming back and providing the level of detail. I personally extent my apologizes for my post questioning your claim and authenticity.

I think you can see from Chris's reply he is a honest, professional, and stand up guy. I hope you would also understand that most of us have had nothing but the best of encounters with the VT Store and thus found it difficult to understand the nature of your post. It sounds like he replied to you in the same day you contacted him, which seems by most online businesses to be not only acceptable but exceptional.

For what its worth, while no doubt your day was horrible, and we can now better understand your perspective, from our perspective here came someone making public claims that seemed completely contrary to everything we knew to be true about the store. Hopefully you can see that our loyalty and defense of the VT store speaks to the quality of products and customer service we have experienced.

I am completely confident that once the situation has been assessed you will find Chris's responsive actions to be exceptional as well.

Rest assured that Chris will take care of whatever issue you are having. I"m not going to get preachy either but I'm sure there was a more appropriate way of handling this. Chris and the VT store have an excellent reputation and it wasn't very nice the things that you said - not very truthful either.

Okay, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I don't know how the return system is created but for goodness sakes, what is it to fill out a few lines of information to return an item? You have to fill out paperwork anytime you return anything, especially for a refund not an exchange. Online or boxstores. Also, you have made remarks about a very, very respected individual who put customer in customer service. Chris goes above and beyond anyone I have ever seen to correct any situation.

wow, i've had some rough experiences with some vendors, mostly because everything coming out new is trial & error. I've had pretty good luck with all vendors & returns.
Reo Mini- fixed no problem
pyrex drip tip- broke in my hand, still have a shard of glass in my finger, sent me a new one
cisco 306 LR atty- arrived DOA, promptly sent a new one.

most vendors are pretty good about working with. I'd love to know about those that aren't though.

I can't believe a customer has to register at a forum before they can get help in returning the product.

I received the product today and it's all corroded!!!

I don't see anything on the store site that relays how to return the product, no print out return slip, nothing but to register here.

I won't be buying again and I do expect a full refund. Perhaps I should call my credit card company to deny the charge.

Here is the deal: EVERYONE has a bad day, VT might have had one when they sent your order......... I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are having a bad one today, so I will spare any "Holier than Thou" advice or negative hits to your rep!

Here are my 2 cents:

I run a branch of a service oriented, material supply company. My branch grosses well into the several millions every year, and I serve many million dollar/per year customers.............the bottom line, I understand customer service. I have never had even a hint of poor service from the VT Store. I was informed of any backorders, and even told when the backordered items would be in. I had a charger part go bad the other day, they mailed the replacement out before I could even ship them back the defective unit.

These guys are good..... they may not be perfect like you and me, but I bet they will fix any screw-ups!!!

There has been a huge decrease in smelling like an ashtray and an extreme increase in smooches from my wife, likely due to the not smelling like an ashtray.

So this was my last effort at anything other than direct dripping on standard units. I don't mind direct dripping, and I love the vapor and flavor production, but I wanted something a little more convenient for traveling. I have tried cartos and wasn't a fan, so this was it.

First, let me say I love the Ego. Great battery life, and solid performance. I'm not; however, a fan of the Tank system. There's nothing wrong with it, the concept is great and it works exactly as advertised. Very easy to put together and use, but while vaping it, there is a flavor that I cannot quite explain...almost plasticy. It's not a burnt atomizer, I know those symptoms all too well. It feeds very well and I experienced no leakage, but it modifies the taste of my favorite juices a little too much for my comfort. I have also become accustomed to LR attys, so the cooler, dryer vaping doesn't satisfy me as much as it once did.

The really weird thing is, I like the look and feel of the tapered mouthpieces more than drip tips or the standard cartridge mouthpieces. I also like the fact that the tank atty is a little bigger and I love the look of the Ego with the tank on it as opposed to the cones. Just for kicks I tried direct dripping into the tank atty without the tank and it was pretty good. Aside from the fact that the atty wasn't LR, it produced great vapor and flavor, but without that warm LR goodness.

In short, I guess it's a great concept, a sleek visual and a great design. I'm sure it will work for a lot of people, but I guess I'm just a direct dripping kinda guy (or maybe a wet box next)

I recently ran out of my VTS mentha and needed some pretty badly. I ordered some juice from Vapor Kings to replace my dwindling stock. When my shipment arrived, my package was short 3 bottles. I logged a ticket and had a response from Vapor Kings within two hours offering to send the missing juice immediately. Great customer service. Just wanted to share.

You had already ahead of the game by doing the amount of research that you did. You did better than me when I started because I started with V2. That was a nightmare but at the same time it started me down the path. I consider myself lucker than a bunch who started with the mall e-cigs.

Lets see if we can't do some pros and cons for everything and help you out. Please remember that these are personal opinion and each ones have those and are subjective to individual taste.

KR808-

Looks similiar to a real analog (which is vapor term for cig) size wise, Very simple to use. They use a cartomizer which is atomizer and juice storage area combined. The average length before charging is around 3 hours of heavy vaping. I would like to input that is very heavy vaping. A rule of thumb is when looking at mah of the battery a 280 mah battery would be considered around 2.8 hours of heavy use. i.e a 750 mah is 7.5 and 1100 mah 11 hours. There of plenty of companies that service this size but not many service it well. The carts you can by pre-filled or you can buy blank cartos and fill your self. My favorite KR808 company was vapor4life. Please not that is personal opinion only.

Joye Ego 510

The joye ego is the standard for the next lvl which a lot of people find that it is a good entry point also. The batteries come in 650 mah and 1100 mah. The joye ego is very versatile. They are mainly considered a 3 part e-cig. You have the battery, atomizer and the cartridge. You van drip 3-4 drops right on the atomizer which will a few good hits off the device. You can use the cartridge with about 15 drops of juice which also last a little bit. They make an Ego-t which is a tank which drips on the atomizer. I have no experience with it but it seems to be hit and miss with everyones opinion. You can order cartomizers for it. Overall battery life good real good throat hit. The standard for the 510 line. They didn't invent it but they set the standard and would only consider 1 knock off from that product. The two places I would consider is the store here or cignot. Once again that is personal opinion only.

Riva

This is the only knock off I would consider. The only differences with the Joye EGO and the Riva is the button and the finish. They are usually less expensive than the Joye Egos. The normal kit is a 750 mah and a 1100 kit that came out in the beginning of this March. All the parts interchange with the Joye Ego. I use a Riva 1100 kit that I just received from Vapor Junction.


I stress that I tried to be objective but a lot of personal preference slipped through which I apoligise for. I wish you luck in your endeavors. When you order make sure you order plenty of e-juice, if you plan on filling yourself on average figure 7ml to 10 ml per day worst case

My first begotten battery (can't tell if she's Joye or Ego, as they look so much alike) passed tonight. It wasn't totally unexpected as she had not been feeling well as of late. Weird charging light blinks...sub-par performance (which for her was odd because she always gave it 110% ), not holding a charge..etc...

Although not unexpected, it doesn't make the loss any less painful.

A "battopsy" is scheduled for tomorrow and the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, that the entire vaping community sends juice. Lots of juice. 10 mls. would probably be o.k. but considering what a great old batt. she was, I'm sure you will probably want to send quantities in the range of 30-40-50+.

On a happier side note, when I informed her cousin Riva about Joyes/Egos passing, she made plans to come visit next week...and bring her twin also. Family ROCKS!

P.S....If juice shopping in this trying time is just to hard, the family will also accept cash...and checks...and money orders...jewelry...non-traceable items of any sort...twinkies, yeah...that's the ticket.

Until there is more data readily available this will be the common response of the sheep, the FDA will see to that, it's the only way to achieve their agenda and what their getting paid to do "their job".... unless you are in an area of younger people, I live in south Florida, so, i stealth vape most places. Some places i walk around blowing big clouds as i do my shopping, i do respect others..I go to the lobby, or the very back if its too good to miss, at the movies, i go to the bathroom on a plane, this one is a must unless u wish to get arrested because the pv is not illegal but using it on the plane is but, it cant be detected by smoke detectors...........its not smoke........so bathroom time works for me......i understand your plight, just remember and learn from the skateboard revolution of the eighties, if you act like a punk you will be labeled as a punk and be treated as a punk and the word will spread and then we will all be punks, so act accordingly smile and explain then if the proprietor says please don't do that, then smile, put away your pv, and apologize for whatever inconvenience you may have caused and go about your business with confidence because, you know the world will catch up to us eventually..the bible even states that all things will come to light....
