1. Personally, I knew it would be very hard to stay off analogs if I didn't decide to just vape 100% vs. mix the two. The first few days were a bit tough- but you vape through it. I've tried a drag off of a cig figuring I would like it- and it was horrid. Never thought I would say that- even after I quit I figured a cig would taste ok. My advice is to drop the cigs and use your PV for your nic needs. It will get easier quickly. Even when having drinks, my PV does its job and I haven't looked back. While a lot of people do it, I think juggling both vaping and cigs makes it difficult for your cig cravings to subside. Vape through those cravings and it all gets easier. ...that's just my two cents. Oh- and get juice you like with enough nic.
2. There are too many awesome vendors out there to take any BS from someone who has poor service and doesn't fulfill orders. The vaping community is a very close community that tends to weed out the bad vendors quickly. It doesn't mean that they won't keep selling- it just means that they won't be selling it to the mass of informed vapors here.

Thanks for the heads up!
3. I ordered 10 LR bridgeless attys. They did still have a wick in them. 10 for $32 delivered isn't bad. I used the cheaper shipping option and they got here in around 21 days (for $2 shipping). Plan ahead and that's not a big deal. Quality? I found the atty's to be pretty much unusable until I removed the mesh part over the coil. They give off a lot of throat burn (in the bad way) with that mesh piece over the coil. They do seem to eat up juice faster for some reason and found myself re-wetting them more often. All in all- I feel it's good to have a handful for backups, but haven't been using them as my primary 'go to' atty and wouldn't give them out again in a loaner device to a noobie.
4. I have a few questions.... What MAH batteries are you selling? Does it fit a normal 510 atty or are the cartos proprietary? Will LR atty's work on your device? ...I see phrases like 'advanced technology' and you claim your carts last as long as 2 packs of cigarettes. Is this the same advanced technology found in first generation ecigs? Red flags here- as everyone knows the 1 cart to a pack conversion is a flat out lie, but yours are equivalent to 2 packs? I have a really hard time believing that. Can you say with 100% honesty that a two pack a day smoker will only go through 1 carto a day? The 5-7 hours claim on one of those batteries seems a bit far fetched IMO. I've NEVER had a tiny battery give me that much vape time. Anyone else? These units really look like the same old expensive stick batteries that we tell folks to shy away from for various reasons.
5. I'm starting my book. Intro- (explanation of vaping goes here) Chapter 1. Get a PV of any type, connect atomizer (LR for 3.7v), drip your favorite e-juice and fire it up. Vape away. Chapter 2. Experiment with different voltages for a different vaping experience. Try a bottom feeder. Chapter 3 Enjoy your vaping experiences immensely. In closing, Vape on! Visit VaporTalk.com for updated discussion on mods, tips and tricks and general Q & A. *Glossary of terms* ---------------------------------- ...wow- I'm finished. that was quick. A bit more lengthy then the book I wrote on "How to put on a nicotine patch".
6. Since it's basically a 3.7v battery and an atomizer- you can't do a whole lot with the unit itself as far as modding (to the best of MY knowledge). Mods usually involve larger batteries, VV, juice container and/or housing/construction. With that said, there are add-on's that you might like, such as the gooseneck, map tank, drip shield, vape-mate, etc. If you are looking to mod the aesthetics of the ego, you could ...fimo clay ego grip?
7. Vape as needed until it's gone, then refill. Vaping is different than smoking- and hard to post an equivalent due to the different factors involved. What MG? Do you hold it in or quickly exhale? ...if you aren't feeling queasy, or experiencing any adverse reactions, you are likely ok to keep on vaping away IMO. Your body will tell you when you are nic'd out. I relate vaping as being more similar to smokeless tobacco vs. smoking in this scenario. A snus, or a dip likely doesn't equal 1 analog worth of nicotine, but rather- it equals a nic fix. As with a can of dip- it's "use as needed". Also with the newness of the device and vaping, brings excitement. You might use your PV more to start with and taper off. ...hope my rambling helps a bit.
8. I rec'd an email, and prompt delivery when I ordered from TTT. Brian and Cheryl used to frequent the forums and I haven't heard of any similar issues of no notification or response. I've forwarded this on via another channel just in case there was an error with the order (and it's time sensitive). Good luck!
9. Prefilled cartos can sometimes be a "not so pleasant" juice IMO. If you can fill your own, or drip- you MIGHT have a better experience. You could drip pure vg or pg as a test to see if you still cough and go from there. Coughing usually comes from a dratty, something burning in the atty/carto or bad juice. If you aren't getting any harshness in the back of the throat, it could be the juice. I hope you get through it! There is a PV and the proper juice out there for you somewhere.
10. How is the throat burn with the cough? ...or is it just the coughing? I too cough on the first vape of the day- but it subsides quickly.
11. I've used that app before. Not bad! breaktru.com has an e-juice calulator that allows for adjusting multiple flavors and percentages of each flavor too
12. Here's a link to a DIY project box mod for around $8 in parts. It uses the needle fed system. ...better late than never.
13. You're not alone wenchy. I actually couldn't taste them either. I have pretty dead taste buds too. ...I really wanted to~
14. LR cartos, or a bottom feeder if you are trying to drip less. ...the joy of not having to refill or drip all day is just... just... vapetastic!
15. I've never met anyone that made money from amway. If they said they did, or even showed a copy of a check- their lifestyle sure didn't show it. You'll likely spend more getting into it than you'll ever get out of it. Run from MLM goonies.
16. PS- Studies say that vaping is between 100 and 1000 times safer than smoking. IMO you feel better immediately after waking up to find the crud gone. The feeling you get upon realizing that you finally found a way to quit smoking sticks with you for quite a while. I'm still in awe.
17. First- congrats on trying the e-cig route again. I understand what you are going through. The reason so many suggest a different model and direct dripping or cartomizers is that the quality of the vape is all around better. Prefilled carts and cartos tend to be more expensive while less enjoyable. The battery life on a 1000mah ego battery is several times better than the stick battery in a greensmoke. If you direct drip some good e-juice on an ego using a LR atty, you'll find it is a night and day difference than what you experienced with the greensmoke pre-filled cartos. Just an FYI- I ordered a different unit before my greensmokes got here because research told me I wouldn't like the greensmoke- and research proved correct. Greensmoke went back within the first week. I gave away $60 in crappy pre-filled greensmoke cartridges that would've made me go back to analogs if I were to rely on them. There is a world of alternatives out there with vaping. With the greensmoke refund, you could get an ego- or try a bottom feeder right off the bat and never worry about dripping. Or both~ Let us know your questions as they arise and you'll get going onto a better way of vaping in no time.
18. What they all said- but it really does depend on what you like. I have a lot of samples of good juice sitting around because it didn't do it for me. ...that doesn't mean they were bad. Try samples. Here are some suggestions from my tastes. Make sure to google reviews and check forums for juices people rave about at least. Keep checking the VT store.... you have to at least sample a handful. Dulcis being a good one in my book. The grape soda was really good too. Midnight. Vermillion Rivers eJuice- kentuckywood maple and cherrywood are my favs, some of the fruity vapes are really good IMO, but I don't do a lot of sweet vapes after I found the stuff I really like. Alien Visions/avejuice- Boba's bounty is a favorite to many. It's also 100% vg, which may or may not be ok for your needs/likes. totally twisted texas, awesome-vapors have samples too. Check the vendors area in this forum, reviews, samples. You'll get there!
19. I have a couple of atty's that are the same way. I haven't been able to vape on them long enough to get rid of that taste. I ordered bridgeless LR 510 and dewicked them. I get 1-2 good hits and then burnt, unless it's a small pull. It's frustrating, so I eventually just put a different atty on. I did notice that I can take smaller pulls, and not get the burnt taste. Hopefully they will eventually break in after more use.
20. Way to go! I love these types of stories!
