Non-smoker. Nothing burning here. Some people just don't have the knowledge to form an educated opinion- but it doesn't mean they don't have an opinion anyways. Are you "smoking" when you exhale outside on a cold day because it "looks" like smoke? Vapor is not smoke. Case closed.

Ego FTW! Order a pack or two of the LR cartomizers, a couple LR attys, drip tip, and a few flavors and you should be set. Kicking the analog habit will never be easier IMO. Welcome and good luck!

My 1000mah battery will flash after about a 8-10 second pull. I can press it again right after, and it's fine for another 10 seconds or so- then flashes again. The battery is fully charged. I have a feeling the t-atty isn't working as it should, hence the 10 second pulls. This also happens with a LR atty too. It appears my battery is going after only 17 days. Anyone else ever had this issue? Does the battery just get worse from here?

I got the shipping info. ...could be the snow or something. It "should" be here tomorrow- a week from when ordered. Maybe it's a fluke. Just checking in to see if anyone had the same length in ship time/arrival.

Shipping speed is less than desirable. Ordered mine a week ago tomorrow and it's not here yet. A whole week to get juice? Seriously?

It should come with a mouthpiece that you have to remove to drip into the atty in the least. (I think. I have a couple and don't know where they came from)

Almost cold turkey. I had 4 analogs left when my inferno arrived. I did smoke those over the first 3 days. It's likely that if I had more, I would've just kept smoking one a day or whatnot. Once they are gone, it's pretty easy to turn to the vape when you need your fix of nic. I totally agree that every analog you don't smoke is a victory.

I went back to my LR cartos yesterday and will leave the tanks for when I'm out and about for longer periods. The T-atty will be nice once they come out with an LR option maybe, but the hit is totally different IMO and lacking without the LR vape. What's missing? ...warmth in the hit, and the flavor doesn't come through as much. It feels like it's being "filtered" when I use the t-atty and tanks. Frustrating!

Just an FYI... If you have an itouch/pod/pad there is a free app called ejuice that has a calculator and recipe guide. It's pretty cool.

I'm just going to take a guess, as I haven't cleaned my T-Atty yet- but I think the answer is "when it needs it". Clean it when you aren't getting a good pull, or the vapor dies down. That's just a guess- but sounds logical. I've also heard that regular cleaning helps make the atty's last longer. It does come down to how much you vap out of the atty, and if it's all vg vs. a mix, or pg. I'm sure there are some sweeter juices that gunk up the atty faster too. Anyone else?

Glad you got it working again! I have a couple of the magna LR attys and they both work great for dripping. I do flood mine a couple times /day when dripping, but no complaints other than that.

First- congrats on taking action and going with the e method of nic delivery, and welcome to VT. Your post is similar to my first post here, 10 short days ago. I too realized I bought the wrong device before it got here. Luckily, I read up and listened to the VT crowd on suggestions. Most will suggest the ego/volcano/riva, both noobs and veterans still use these. A lot of people end up going with a mod to improve performance in some area or other. From what I've seen- this can turn into a pretty big hobby with all of the devices and juices -but if you are not smoking, you'll likely be saving money once your pv pays for itself in a short while. Keep an open mind about flavors. Again- quite the similar first post. ...I just wanted TOBACCO flavors 10 days ago, but bought the vt grape soda on a whim- and it was the first bottle I finished. And yes- you can refill the safecig. Go ahead and jump into the chat room here or post your questions. I'm sure you'll quickly gain insight from the people here at VT.

You have some answers above, and I also agree that the eGo is the route to go. There are a lot of options for the ego, -and it's easy to get confused when diving in. ...just go with it and ask questions as need be. This group is here to help, as I've found out. -Just try vaping on an eGo and stop by VT for your questions. Case closed. Smokes done. Satisfied? ...of course not- go try some juices/flavors, celebrate your freedom. or not- it's all up to you. You are not a smoker if you choose to vape on the ego I bet.

I flood my ego-like units battery with 3 drops of mostly any juice I have. Had to go down to 2 drops when dir. dripping. ..but you'll be able to taste when it's getting dry. Throw some boge lr cartos or the tank and T atty on that thing and you'll be happy IMO.

I bought a pack of the boge cartos. The first one was horrible. It was like the flavor was being filtered, not much vapor, and a tough pull. I wasn't going to use cartos again, but luckily #2 and 3 in the pack work very well. I didn't read every response- but might I suggest trying the ego-T tanks? As I understand, they work with the ego batteries just fine. No more cartos to deal with. You just need the tanks and at least one ego-t atomizer. With a discount code at totally wicked, it was right around $25.

They sell a lot of the cheap e-cigs in mall kiosks, gas stations and other places I've heard. They also sell disposable ones for $10 or so.

Quick reply without hijacking the thread... It's a ball of mixed emotions, but regardless -my investment is paying for itself, and I'm happy I found it (1 week off the analogs today). First carto in the pack sucked, so I went back to dripping. Initially all liquids didn't provide the throat hit or taste, but they are getting better (or I'm healing). Tried a 2nd carto in the pack, and it works like a charm. I have to test another with another juice before I'm a carto convert. ...back to your suggestion UMA. It does gurgle a lot. I flood my battery all the time with only direct dripping 3 drops. Less than 3 drops isn't very efficient and a P.I.T.A! Checking to see if it's just a certain juice, but it doesn't seem like it is.

Let's get some more traffic here at VT. The more that visit, the more that will be informed. Maybe make a sticky out of the 'debate'? Comment on these stories from Julierys links and include the URL to VT in story comment. ...My two cents.

Wow- I wish I had your issue. Mine seemed to be too light on TH with various 16mg flavors. I don't have your solution- but others will chime in soon. Welcome to vaping and VT!
