Dripping can provide better flavor, and for some- doesn't compare to other methods such as tanks and cartos. There are plenty of happy tank and carto users also. It comes down to preference. If you are trying a lot of different juices, direct dripping is the way to go IMO. You would put 2-3* drops in the atomizer -most use a drip tip on top of the atty for ease of dripping. *Start off with 2-3. I'll often go 4-6, but it seems to depend on the atty. They do make larger atty's also, along with drip shields and other accessories to assist in the DD. Vaping should not burn your tongue. If it does- you might be doing something wrong. Good luck- and congrats on getting past the first week.

Fda To Regulate E-Cigs As Tobacco Products
TroopX replied to Christopher's topic in General Vape News
Old dutch? Lay's? ...actually there is nicotine in different fruits and vegetables. From what I understood, it is more expensive to extract (??) -
So what's the oldest nic juice you've vaped? (after expiration)

Personally, I can't do the tanks. They just don't work well for me. Direct dripping on an LR 510 or 306 atty was the only fix for a while IMO. The regular ego does work with the tank if you buy a tank atty and tanks- so you can try various methods as long as you buy different attys, tanks, cartos, etc. The prefilled don't last very long, and aren't as tasty as the juices you can buy from various vendors. It's also next to impossible to compare the # of analogs to the amount of ejuice you will use. Get at least a few bottles (or more if you get sample sizes) and be prepared to place an order once you see them go down to "scary" level. I used to smoke 1.5-2 ppd, and I vape around 6ml of 20mg/day now average. (Equaling 120mg of nicotine, assuming 100% absorbtion- which isn't likely) Once you find the liquids that you like, you can order bigger bottles from most vendors. ....do try the sample sizes though- it's the best way to find your favorites. Good luck!

watch how much vg you use in the mix for your tanks. Personally, I haven't had much luck with the tanks- and I did use at least 20-30% vg in them. I know others using them that do just PG, and have less issues. The tanks don't wick well with VG IMO.

It could just be the liquid used isn't very good. You also might be dragging on it in a manner that causes coughing. Remember to pull it into your mouth, and then inhale it- that seems to cure the coughing for some. If you are using the pre-filled, you might want to see if you can find a good ejuice that works better for you. I would think 24mg is where you'd want to start- just an opinion. Good luck- and welcome to VT! ..ego.

Safe Cig Vs. Green Smoke, Any Thoughts?
TroopX replied to hurrycaine3000's topic in New Vapers Forum
Greensmoke is horribly overpriced, proprietary carts that taste awful IMO. RUN! -
I'm not a doctor- but I don't smoke anymore- I vape. I couldn't believe I got rid of my 20 yr/ 2ppd habit that fast and so easy. I vape hard and throughout most of the day on 20-24mg juice without issues. I was concerned at first, but accepted the answer that was "listen to your body". Your body will tell you if you've had enough or too much well before it becomes dangerous IMO. It sounds like you are afraid to try vaping instead of smoking because you don't know how much nicotine you are getting. If that's the case- don't let that be the reason, but rather listen to your body. We, the vaping community, are guinea pigs per se- as vaping hasn't went through rigorous long term testing. (However, the ingredients have all been studied, ie PG, nicotine) What should be apparent, is how much better you feel vaping vs smoking. That part was a no-brainer for me. As far as I remember, there were no labels on chewing tobacco telling the consumer how much to use. I know I've had cigarette hangovers as well. My suggestion to vaping would be take as many pulls on it as need be when you are having a nicotine craving. Put it down when you get your "fix" if you are concerned. Your head isn't going to explode, and your heart will likely thank you for putting down the analogs. Juice is another issue. Be prepared to buy sample sizes from different vendors until you find something that you like. Read/watch reviews, ask questions here or in the chat. You'll find the ones that work for you! RE:I know that if I smoke so many "analogs" I am safe ....not even going to touch that one ...vape on! Good luck and hang in there!

Kit nailed it. Once you drip, I can only assume you'll drip or go bottom feeder if you get it right. While attys, dripping -and even drip tips come with issues- once you nail the DD vape, you love it. Carts, cartos and most tank systems won't be a viable option. -That being said, there are enough vendors and products out there, that when mixed, offer different results. ...One man's trash is a... journey for you to explore. (get some LR 306's and LR 510's (if you are on 3.7) and a big battery. Where's the juice? ...the next 3G PV will drip while you sleep. STOP!)

Knowing how many times the question has been answered in my short time here- I know it's on the forum multiple times. It's likely buried. The search engine at the top of VT is great for finding info- just remember to search "forum" vs. google. OR...go hang out in the chat room and get all of your questions answered 10 seconds faster then posting in the forums. (It's a lot more fun too) ..Just a heads up for other noobies trying to figure out the forums too. You'll be able to tell if the atty is getting dry often by the sound and feel of the pull without the button pressed. Try it once when you know it's empty- and then once after you fill it. Good to hear you have no complaints- sounds like it's working!

Doesn't sound like the VT store I know. I'm sure if you follow the link in one of the first few replies, you'll get the service you need. VT does NOT have poor service. Case closed.

Obsession.

Pretty much all of the above. SOME people are allergic to PG, which just requires a very pure PG, or switch to VG. I've also heard from one person that it gave them a headache at first. ...I think these are pretty rare.

Love the Boba's! ...I've found that my "go-to" vape so far is kentucky cherrywood by Vermillion Rivers. I can, and do vape this all day. It's not for everyone- but does the trick for me. VT Dulcis is right up there too.

Good call Gpurv!

I used to have that issue with a one of the contoured delrins I had. I found better luck with the straighter tips without the contour inside. I have both a metal and delrin of those and no problems on this side. Also- you can blow (like a flute/whistle) into the tip and kick some of the juice down further. Good aim also seems to help if you can get the drops directly down the center, vs. hitting the sides. ...just my 2 pennies.

Way to go! ...I'm on my way- vape by vape. ..yes- truly a godsend!

I started at 24, and am now down to 18 or 20ish w/ some juices. I like my nicotine like I like my coffee. Don't know how much lower, when or if I'll go lower. ...bout time you get 5 posts in!

They have extended drip tips for the 306 and the ego cone. Works well. You will have to get a 306 drip tip for sure though
