I agree, don't go with the regular stick batteries, the constant charging sucks. I have all XL ones that are 380mah and I blow through them in 30-90 mins depending on time of day and what else I am doing. I have 6 batteries and two chargers and STILL I end up with only one left, while waiting for the first two to finish charging. It sucks, it really does. BUT I HATE to be wasteful since we have all these darn batteries.....but after almost a year vaping and enduring this garbage we have FINALLY ordered two mods. I know we will be MUCH happier. I had a HUGE hang up with wanting them to resemble normal cigs so all my batts are white except a couple that my husband had ordered. Now I just don't care, I just want batteries that i don't have to constantly charge....I don't need it to look like a cigarette, but like most ppl at the beginning that was very important to me. I still do want a bigger but still cylindrical type battery to use out in public because I just think a box mod would feel awkward to me to use in public. Oh, and everyone is right about the hit too......the batteries are fine when fully and freshly charged, but they lose power in a VERY short amount of time, prior to totally dying and it really stinks.

Hey, be happy with bald, it would have been MORE creepy if he had said, hey are you the guy with the beautiful blue eyes, LOL

We first saw the e cig on the news, a few years ago. It too was one of those rip off units they were showing, and talking about. I just think nowadays everyone would KNOW to research and check things out. We waited a good year before we ever bought anything. My fear, which I said immediately, you KNOW what will happen....the freaking FDA will get involved, the lawmakers will go nutso because they will lose too much tax revenue. So much campaign funding comes from the pharmaceutical industry and they have so many lobbyists, I just KNOW I will start vaping and they will try to ban them or start some other BS. Sure enough, we started vaping last February and the very next month, I wrote emails to EVERY senator and rep in IL. The senator who introduced the bill to ban them in IL was Terry Link (now retired).....fortunately it got reassigned to some health committee and basically when that happens it just dies. But I have NO doubt whatsoever now they won't be banned, they will classify them as a tobacco product, even though that is idiotic and they will impose a sin tax on them, just like cigs. But that is fine with me, I wouldn't even mind that. I won't be happy, but the main thing is that we can keep vaping. But I am CERTAIN it will NOT be classified as a smoking cessation product, thereby making it ineligible for sin taxation, they will classify it in a way they can tax the heck out of it. Just my opinion. Anyway, I agree, even if someone buys a rip off unit, they are likely to see what is better out there and hopefully move on to bigger and better things. Here, now all the major gas stations have a whole rack of the disposable kind plus some other ones, and they sell only the regular and menthol cartos to go with them. HOPEFULLY it gets people to do some research. So yeah, any ad is better than no ad in this case. Plus even for non smokers, it lets them know what the device is so they don't freak out thinking we are smoking and contaminating their air. SO all around a pretty good thing, I think.

Thank you to EVERYONE who is sending me caps....I appreciate it soooo much. I was showing my husband all the nice messages....it is so cool how nice everyone is to each other on this forum. I have been to chat quite a few times and really enjoy it. Have learned TONS and I wasn't even trying to. I can't thank you all enough...I am just really grateful for all the generosity!!! I think I PMed everyone, but IF I didn't PM you, please send me a message!! Thanks soooo much!!! -
There are several companies that have that exact same offer. On the radio there are several ads for similar products. I don't think it is so much a scam as a rip off. Much in the same way the mall kiosks charge double for the merchandise you can get online for half the price. I think it is more a case of buyer beware and educating oneself. I wouldn't say it is a scam because they aren't LYING about anything. They ARE letting you try it for free, then you have to pay if you keep it......there are tons of products other than e cigs that have that same offer......you CAN try it for free, and if you keep it, you pay.....A LOT usually. A scam would be if they said they would send it to you, charged you and never sent it. I think this is more a situation of an educated consumer vs and uneducated one. Or preying on ppl looking for hope and making impulsive decisions without researching. Any adult who thinks they will get ANYTHING for free is foolish. But if it was a scam they wouldn't have the pop up notification....but then that would be illegal to just start charging you for stuff that you didn't agree to. It reminds me of the ads on Facebook.....where it says your friends scored X amount on an IQ test, see if you are smarter, but to get your answer you have to enter your cell phone number, by doing so you will be charged $10 a month for a daily horoscope service. It is like crap like that.....again, you have to always read the fine print, NOTHING is free.

Can Any Supplier (Or Anyone Else) Help Me?

Yes, in the cartomizer there is a little wire from that little straw thing, it comes up from the atty and then goes up the straw like thing in the middle and then down into the filler. In some cartos it is easier to see than others. But the cleaning works and we have lost hardly any cartos......it is amazing how long they last. Well, first I saved them all because I figured THERE HAD to be a way to refill them....then when they got yucky tasting I figured there must be a way to clean them. So I started just googling "clean kr808 cartZ" and sure enough a bunch of youtube vids popped up in the hits, so I started watching them all. All differing opinions about what is the best method, like some people just soak them for days and keep changing the water every so often. To me, I wait for a time when I am feeling pretty good, not shaky, and I have at it. I boil like 50 of them at once. I mean it is like MAYBE once a month or 6 weeks that I need to do this, so it isn't like all the time. Then again I am using a LOT of cartos at once, like 60ish of them. I just added in more. Then like every other time they get the everclear soak in the process. Works great, really I was amazed at how they really had NO odor whatsoever. Usually after boiling, you can still smell the stronger flavors, but the everclear/cheap vodka, omg, it is amazing. I just figure if they are cleanable I will do it, why waste more money for something totally needless? Even if I was a millionaire I would still do it, I just hate being wasteful. The actual WORK, is maybe like 15 minutes, that you are actually DOING something....most of the time they are just sitting in water boiling or soaking in everclear. It isn't anything labor intensive. Like the only thing you do is pour out dirty water, and reboil in clean, and repeat it probably like 5 times when you are doing a bunch at once. Then when they are clean you blow out the water, which I try and make my husband do, LOL. But it isn't a big deal. Then you just set them out to dry. Obviously you DO have to kind of pay attention to time because you don't want the water all evaporating that they wouldn't be covered in water. I probably have them at a hard boil for 15-20 mins, then change water. Easily do it while watching tv or being online. Like I said, I do it in a hotpot while I am sitting in bed watching tv, so it is like maybe 12 feet away. It is really no big deal at all. -

I have no interest in using a drip tip....I have MS and my hands shake a great deal of the time. My husband has nothing wrong with him and just has no interest in having cartridges and attys, plus messing with liquid on top of it. That is why I rotate so many cartos at once, because then I can pick a day/time where my hands aren't shaking to refill all of them. Really, I like the cartos, no problems with them, they last forever with periodic cleaning. -
at first I was afraid the labels would boil off or I would mess up the atty in there, but nope, labels still firmly affixed (would LOVE to know what the heck kind of adhesive that is!!!), and attys inside perfectly fine. You do kill one every now and then, like maybe out of 50 one dies, but big deal. That is like nothing. The MAIN thing when you do the everclear is to MAKE SURE you get it all out. I probably boil excessively to make sure, but better too clean I figure. I have had GREAT success with doing this. In the past 8 months all we have bought it juice. We used to buy prefilled cartos, like every flavor known to mankind....we accumulated a TON of cartos. Then I came across all the cleaning info and was like awesome. Everclear is sort of expensive, so I switched to the cheapest vodka. The main thing is that it is a high alcohol content with NO flavor or sugar. . . and it has to be like alcohol you can consume, not any other kind of thing. Good luck....we have saved tons of money, and the cartos have been cleaned literally dozens of times.
-
The initial investment was pretty expensive, at least it was for us until we had all the hardware we wanted/needed. HOWEVER, we weren't necessarily trying to save money....even if it cost the exact same as smoking, the point is that it can save our lives. It is MUCH healthier. If it cost more we would keep vaping. I figure with all the money we pissed away over 30 years buying complete poison, whatever we spend buying something that is far less dangerous, maybe even safe, I can live with it. But now it is much cheaper because we are really only buying ejuice and refilling and boiling/washing cartomizers.
-
I vape 5-6 ml a day....I was a very heavy smoker, 2+ppd, for 30 years.
-
I don't know if any of this applies to these kind of cartomizers, but I don't see why it wouldn't. I use the KR808 cartos and I have hundreds upon hundreds, most likely over a thousand of them, but I have had about 60 in rotation for a year. Every 3-5 refills (when they start to have a funky taste), I boil them. I usually do like 20 at once. I boil them in a $10 hot pot. If you don't know what that is, it is like an electric kettle, but it reaches boiling in a minute, you plug it in. I use this so I can do it in the master bath, instead of being stuck in the kitchen. Anyway, I boil them, for about 5 minutes, change the water, because it will be stinky, and I keep doing this, boiling 5 to 10 minutes until the water is not stinky and not dirty and it is clean water. Then I boil them again for good measure for awhile. It is probably a couple hours of boiling while I watch tv, am online etc, Then I rinse them in cold water and blow all the water out from the top end (oh and all the little caps are taken off and rinsed off too). Then i leave them standing on the connector end to dry out a couple days. Then refill with juice and they are as good as new. The next go around I do the same thing with them, and then soak them in everclear or some cheap vodka (no rubbing alcohol or anything that is not meant to be put in the body), I soak them for a few hours. Then I boil them to make sure all the alcohol is out of them. Dry for a couple days and they are SO clean they are like never filled cartos. In a year of vaping we have only had like 10 cartos die. For a "disposable" device they sure are lasting. There are vids on youtube showing this whole process.....that is how I originally started doing it, and I am glad I did. I have saved A LOT of money not paying $2 for each carto. On these they say you should get a day or two out of them.....I was a heavy smoker (2+ppd) so I could easily go through a whole 5 pack in a day or day and a half. So I don't know if these cartos are the same, but it appears they are, just to fit a different style of battery. It sounds like a big fiasco in writing but it really isn't. It is nothing. I easily do this in the evening while watching a movie, working on art, or surfing the web. I have a couple of filled gallon ziplocs of washed cartos that we haven't even started using because we have so many being used now. I have about 60 of them and my husband has easily 150 because he vapes like 8 different flavors...I only use one. If you google "washing cartomizers" or "cleaning cartomizers" you can find the videos showing various methods....I use a combo of them. It DOES work, and the people that say the everclear is a problem are usually the ones that aren't boiling afterward.....you have to clean out the alcohol otherwise obvious the filler will taste like it. And I have torn apart cartos, there has NEVER been burnt filler....BUT there is dark brown crap near the inner part which I suspect is burnt and reburnt juice. If you burn polyfil it smells like burning plastic, which has a VERY distinct odor, and I don't think that coil gets anywhere near the temperature where that could happen. AND it would be melted, and no longer fluffy and loose, and I have found NOTHING like that, I did it in a couple really crappy tasting cartos, just to see what was going on in there. No burnt filler. Anyway, we have had excellent results with this method and on the vids people say they have used the same carto for 3 years with no problems at all.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, that is sooooo nice of you!!!! And I WILL pay for them.....I wouldn't expect people to be out postage money and all that. I do have one person who said they are saving their soft caps for me because they use a drip tip, BUT her I will see in real life, plus I offered to trade juice or something. I can tell you this, I would be eternally grateful! I just think it is crazy that there is no place to buy the stupid caps....they sell all these goofy lanyards and stuff but NOT the caps....I can't be the ONLY person who would buy them. -
My husband and I use the KR808D devices also, mostly because we wanted to be able to use the cartomizers and NOT have to mess around with atomizers and caps and all this other BS. HOWEVER, the battery life sucks. I use the XL batteries which have far longer life than the minis and long ones, BUT that is still ridiculous for me because I go through 6 batteries in no time and only have 2 chargers. My husband is a MUCH lighter vaper, so he doesn't have near the problem I do. 90% of the time I use a passthrough on my laptop which is far stronger plus of course charging isn't an issue. But I hate when I am in a hospital or have to go to a dr appt or anything where I am away from home longer than say an hour, the constant changing of batteries, ugh, sucks. I am looking at the elegant easy XXLfrom cigeasy.com it has a 1300mah battery as compared to the 380mah in an XL battery, so obviously it should last like almost 4 times as long.....HOWEVER, yes, you do need a different charger, because it is a much bigger battery. BUT it uses the 808 cartos, which would be great. HOWEVER, you need this cone part with it to have it look nice BUT they don't have the cones???!!!!! Like stupid. Our issue is this....we have been using the 808 for a year and have literally like a thousand cartos, and with boiling, soaking in everclear, etc. they are good as new. In the entire year only lost like 10 of them. I just can't see wasting all those cartos by changing to another device. I don't want to use adapters and all that either to make them fit on another battery because so many people say you lose power, like less strength, vape, etc. I have talked to a ton of ppl, some say you lose power to totally NOT use an adapter, then others say no you don't lose power, so I can't figure it out at all. SO we have decided to go the mod route. There is a great guy that is on the forum, Jolly, (and others, he just happens to be who I started talking to first) that make mods, and he is making me a 5v variable voltage wetbox (so I can vape at less than 5 volts if that is too strong) with batteries that will last at LEAST a day, maybe longer, with how I vape I doubt longer, but hey, all day would be GREAT. It is a wetbox, which if you don't know what it is google it....and he is fitting it to fit the 808 cartos. That is my hang up, I refuse to toss hundreds of cartos and switch to some totally different device....I just hate waste, LOL. Originally, for months, I said no way would I use a mod because I wanted the e cig to resemble a cigarette, HOWEVER, now I just want the batteries to last longer than 30 minutes. I just hate the constantly having a pile of dead batteries, etc. Anyway, I definitely understand where you are coming from. It is like you don't want to have to buy EVERYTHING all new from scratch....you just really want a strong long lasting battery, BUT the battery life is directly related to it's size, so either you will have to get a new charger or new cartos or something. I figure the charger is only a $10-15 item....whereas 500 cartos are worth like near a thousand bucks (with shipping)....so it is the cartos that are more important to me. I did consider going with the ego 510 route with an adapter to use the 808 cartos, but I just don't want to take the chance of it being super weak with the adapter. With the mod I have to use a diff charger but it is $15, but that will allow me to use my literally couple grand in cartos. Good luck finding something new, I definitely understand!!! My best advice, is just research. Read the boards, google, ask questions, etc. look at the power of the battery, NOT how long the person selling it says it lasts. If one battery is for example 200 mah and another is 400 then you could expect it to last roughly twice as long, from what I understand...ASSUMING you aren't using adapters for cartos and stuff like that which would make you vape more, therefore reducing life....which is why I don't want to mess with adapters. I wish that elegant easy XXL from Cigeasy had the cone available because I think the one in gold is really pretty looking. But that cone piece not being available, it has to look like crap....like something is missing. Stupid they don't have the cone. It would be awesome to have a battery that is 1300 mah!!!! Compared to these stupid little 808 sticks it would have to be like night and day!!! Again, good luck!!!

Can Any Supplier (Or Anyone Else) Help Me?
juliery replied to juliery's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I am not trying to get a soft feeling against my lips or anything....it is just not having to mess with the o ring and hard cap because they are always a mess and then I have to wash them off, and my hands are covered with e liquid. The soft caps are MUCH easier to get out and the other thing with the hard caps is because they aren't flexible they don't fit easily into the top of EVERY carto. I refill a bunch of cartos at a time and pop all the tops like 15 at a time and it would be crazy trying to remember exactly which top came off which cartos. YES, the cartos DO last a long time. I thought for sure that in the boiling process I would be killing them left and right, but NOPE. I use a big fat embroidery needle to "fluff" the filler after drying too, which I thought for sure would be ripping out that wire too, but NOPE. It is amazing the abuse these supposedly "disposable" things can take. I did try the condom with a hole thing but it is crazy how much that increases the size of the thing...it feels so gross and so awkward. I CAN get just the caps from China, but the postage is utterly insane on them.....I can't see paying $30 in postage...that is lunacy. I would rather manage with what I have if that is my only option. I was just hoping that SOME vendor who gets stuff from China could maybe order JUST the caps with some order they have for other stuff, and then it wouldn't be $30 shipping for JUST the caps. IF I order from China then I would have to order a bunch of stuff to make the postage worthwhile. My husband had contacted a wholesaler in China who keeps emailing him....so I guess I will just make him handle this. Figured it was worth a try to find them here in the good ol USA thereby someone here making money too, but oh well, China it will have to be, LOL. -
Can Any Supplier (Or Anyone Else) Help Me?
juliery replied to juliery's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I have cartos that I have refilled dozens and dozens of times.....after about 5 refills I boil them, multiple times, and after about 10 uses I boil them till the water is clear, soak in everclear for a couple hours, then boil them for about 20 minutes till the everclear is totally out. In the past almost year only 10 cartos, if actually that many, have died. I found boards where people had cartos they have refilled literally hundreds of times. I use a hotpot in the bathroom adjoining my bedroom, so it is not a big deal, as far as time or standing around boiling stuff. I just have them going while I watch tv in the evening or am on my laptop. Cleaning them how I do, and drying for a couple days, they are like brand new never filled ones....I can get 25-30 drops in a clean, dried carto. And there is no gross taste or anything when they are clean. I have no interest in using a drip tip, I just want the soft caps to replace the hard ones. I also don't want to change to another carto because I have like a thousand, or many many hundreds of 808 cartos, and I like them, plus I don't want to waste them since they last so long and are totally working fine. I just want to be able to rotate more than the 60 so I am not refilling every week. That would be why I have no interest in dripping....hell, I hate messing with the liquid at all, but since it is FAR FAR more economical than buying prefilled, I do it. Plus I now vape a combo of cappuccino liquid from a couple vendors that I mix together how I like it. So apparently there is nowhere I can just buy the soft caps???? I am not looking for any solution to this other than just finding a place to get the soft caps. I mean, I can manage if I don't get them, it would just be nice if I could buy some. -
Hi everyone. I am hoping someone can help me. I am HOPING there is somewhere to buy ONLY the soft caps for cartos. I bought only what were supposedly "premium" 808 cartos, HOWEVER a LOT of them have the o rings and hard plastic caps. I really hate screwing around with them when refilling, washing, etc. Is there ANYWHERE to purchase ONLY the soft caps, like a couple hundred of them? We have many hundreds of cartos, and in vaping a year only like maybe 10 have died. SO obviously I am going to need more soft caps. I have a bunch of cartos...hundreds upon hundreds washed out not currently being used at all, but even still do not have enough soft caps for what we are currently using. I vape a lot so I have about 75ish cartos in rotation, and then my husband has even more as he vapes many flavors whereas I only vape one. Anyway, I am REALLY hoping I can buy some caps or perhaps a supplier can get some from China and include them with an order? Even 100 would be WONDERFUL. I would contact a supplier in China myself, in fact, have had contact with one regarding other stuff, HOWEVER the shipping for JUST some caps would be ridiculous. I am perfectly willing to pay a reasonable price for them. Thanks for any help anyone can give me. I am hoping to avoid having to randomly just write everyone who sells e cigs.

Cool Lisa, I can't wait....I have been talking to Jolly and Nox in chat quite a bit, Maryann also and a couple days ago Nox kept calling me Lisa, and I didn't think anything of it and then yesterday we were talking about where we were from and she said, Ohhhhhhhh that is why I kept calling you Lisa, you remind me so much of a Lisa who is also from that area. So I was like Ohhhhhhh that is funny SHE is the one who invited me to the WCV, LOL. She says we are so much alike as far as outgoing, fun, and how we love and talk about our husbands, LOL. Is that EgoT that Ego tank? Someone was just talking about that the other morning. My issue is that I have to have everything to fit 808 cartos......so of course some ppl say get an adapter, others say OMG don't use an adapter because you lose so much power. So I never know what the heck to think, LOL. Thank you SOOOO much for saving those caps for me, I appreciate it so much...these hard ones are such a pain in the rear. I was thinking I could just stack two of the clear o rings together too.....slightly bigger hole but as long as I don't have too much juice in the cartos, which I try to avoid anyway, I don't really think that should matter, and I don't really care what it looks like. I can't wait to get my 5v wetbox, that should work well. BUT I do still want some kind of cylindrical type thing too, just because there may be times when I wouldn't feel comfortable using the wetbox in public. Normally, I really don't care and I try not to vape so much in public. I never started as a way to get around smoking laws and I don't want to go out of my way to antagonize ppl. In public I mostly "sneak vape"....like try and conceal it, and not just openly vape. When my husband plays shows in clubs, I openly vape, so far not a single club has had any problem at all. Usually it starts big conversations in fact. There are always smokers who say they have heard about e cigs or seen them in the mall but they were too much $$, and then I get into long conversations and whip out paper and start writing down urls, etc. People are a LOT more interested whent they find out to try the ecig they will only spend about what they would on a carton of smokes. That always seems like a hurdle for many ppl....the initial investment cost, especially for ppl who are living week to week and sure, long term it saves money, but initially it costs more with buying starter kits and then having to experiment finding flavors you like etc. Until I started refilling cartos myself I was not saving money because I could easily go through 5 prefilled cartos in a day, which cost at least 10 bucks, plus shipping. Once I started refilling and washing cartos then we started saving money. Just seems like most ppl don't want to spend MORE money, even though it is far less dangerous. Even if it cost the same amount as smoking that would be fine with me, after all I thought nothing of paying for something I knew was awful for me. Anyway, I will shut up.....make sure to message me with location/address, etc. I can't wait to meet you and everyone. That will be SOOOOOOOO cool to be able to try things before buying. I said in chat I wish some vendor would have rental devices. Like you give them your CC number in case you would be a jerk and never return whatever it is, of course pay a fee for "trying" the product, like I guess probably a two week to one month trial....for hardware I think that would be great. Heck and they could probably sell even the rented devices for some sort of super duper cheap price. It is just so hard to know what you like when you can't see it, handle it, use it. I think that is also why some people get hooked into the 30 day trials and auto ship cartos and stuff....that DOES have appeal when you have NO clue whether you will like something and have little info about all the stuff. Especially if you have only seen the mall kiosk variety of e cigs. Okay, really shutting up!!!! Can't wait to meet you!!!

I am trying to not order too much in advance, at least with juice, because I have screwed myself. I have so much juice that I thought I loved and ended up hating. It just didn't taste that good after a couple more times of use. Retried juice here and there but then still didn't like it. So because of that I have like 8-10 kinds of ejuice that in all probability I will never use. I/we have 12 batteries, 2 working passthroughs, and we are having 2 mods made. We really didn't know that much about mods, but from chatting I have found that a battery of the duration and power I am wanting just wouldn't be available in any pen style,.....so having a vv 5v wetbox made and a wii mod too.....I am sure my husband will snag the wii. I love that by finding ppl who actually make the mods you can get everything so customized to your needs. We started out with the KR808 and for me especially it is perfect not having to screw around with attys and I have no interest in dripping. I have medical issues that cause me to shake/tremor and dripping would likely be a mess. So in chatting everyone said a wetbox would be great for me. I don't have a quest to just try everything out there....I am more in a quest for the perfect device for my needs/desires. We accumulated hundreds and hundreds of cartos, so I wouldn't want those to all go to waste changing over to a completely different kind of device anyway. I am a VERY heavy vaper, my husband much lighter user, so I am rotating about 60 cartos, all one flavor. We probably tried at least 50 flavors before I found one I really really love, which is actually a mixture of two diff juices. My husband changes flavors all the time, like pretty much every time he changes his carto he puts on a diff flavor. He likes probably 8-10 and just found another one thru a freebie that came with an order. I can see totally getting into wanting more and different mods.....but flavors of e juice, not so much. I almost didn't want to keep vaping because it was so hard to find a juice I really loved. Then the two I had used switching between them I just really didn't like at all anymore once I found the one I currently vape which is cappuccino....two caps from two different vendors mixed together....one is a VERY strong flavor, the other was fine, but the stronger one REALLY kicks it up a notch but would be much too strong on it's own for me. The mods, I see trouble coming my way, LOL. SO many cool ones out there. Next month we are going to the Windy City Vapers meeting where I hope I can unload some of our juice we will never use!!

Wow, what a nice "problem" to have, LOL! Congrats!

I am soooooo sorry you had such a terrible day. I learned the same lesson a LONG time ago with a landlord. YOU NEVER EVER leave the walkthrough without a signed document, signed by BOTH parties as to EXACTLY what the condition of any damage or problems are, or something saying everything was fine. THAT would have prevented this entire thing. But of course that does no good now. It is a he said she said type thing and unfortunately many tenants do trash properties. My sister once had a landlord, when she moved out, she had a list from him, that literally listed how many nail holes per room he had to patch and he was charging a two bucks a hole. He found HUNDREDS of holes, of course she can't prove that she did or didn't put them all there, which she said she didn't, but she can't prove it, so it sucks. SO it is equally important that when you rent a place you go through with the landlord and get a SIGNED itemized list of EVERY single issue, no matter how idiotic or minor you might think it is, and have PROOF of damage that existed when you got there. The whole thing just really sucks and I really feel bad for you. On the upside I am sure it will never happen again because I am pretty sure you will never walk away without having signed documents after a walk through. I am really glad you didn't give in and smoke.....honestly I don't know if I would have or not. I have been vaping almost a year, BUT I have taken a drag off a friend's cig here and there just to see how awful it was, LOL. Yeah, tasted nasty, BUT every time I started smoking again in the past 30 years it tasted nasty, but you keep doing it and become immune to the nastiness again. SO good for you that you didn't smoke!!! Things will get better, and yes, there is always someone who is in a worse situation than we are. Sometimes when things suck it is hard to remember that, at least you recognized that. I hope things start looking up for you VERY SOON!!!!

I didn't see it in the noobie area, but then I was probably not paying attention, so I think a good idea to have it in multiple places. Better to have it posted too many times than not enough. I knew all the terms, but when I think of a PV, I think of the larger things which I guess are really just vaporizers, to smoke weed. I know several people that use like the little volcanoes and stuff. I always say e cig, but then I usually call a regular cigarette a smoke or cig, because analog, just seems so goofy since it is in no way any kind of electronic device....like on a radio an analog tuner vs a digital tuner, they are both electronic, but still diff from each other, where an e cig and a cig are TOTALLY different from each other, in my opinion. The only thing that is the same is the fact you are inhaling and exhaling, but it isn't always even a nicotine containing juice. So normally I would say they each contain nicotine but since people vape 0mg that isn't really true. In a chat or board then I will say a reg cig meaning a regular/real cigarette vs an e cig. I wonder who started calling them analogs, weird. I think it is amazing just in the year I/we (my husband vapes too) have been vaping how many more devices and how much more sophisticated and powerful they are. It is really interesting to watch.

I have found NOTHING that tastes like a real cigarette, and I HATE the sweet taste too, so does my husband. I vape cappuccino, it is not sweet but not sour either. My husband loves sour green apple, cherries jubilee and grape, several others, but those are the main ones....none of them are sweet like the caramels, the RY juices, YUCK. Anything involving caramel in any way, shape or form is super sweet, and I can't stand that taste...almost like burnt sugar, yuck.

I am pretty sure that is why they run out of kiosks, MUCH cheaper. I am also sure that even the rent for a kiosk is expensive thus the inferior overpriced products. I don't think most of them give a rat's butt about selling a good product, it is about money, plain and simple. I think that is why you find the best products online, MUCH cheaper way to run an operation. Especially if you can make enough to just hire friends, family, etc...even just as side jobs. Plus all the administrative costs of having someone do payroll and all the tax remittance. My dad operated a trucking company for many years in Chicago....I can't tell you all the crap that can go wrong with running any business. And especially hiring strangers, all they have to do is fake trip and fall and that alone can put you out of business, even with worker's comp insurance. It is SOOOOOOO hard to plan for every possibility. It isn't something that just anyone can do and the start up costs are HIGH, very high. It would be awesome though, to have a vaping shop and hire ONLY vapers, preferably ones that have been vaping awhile that have a general understanding of how the products work. It would be really great to have the best line of all the different types of vaping products, then be able to show the differences. So people can make INFORMED purchasing decisions, what fits their lifestyle and preferences. It is hard when you are presented with only one product, have little to no info, and nothing to compare that one product to. That is why we didn't purchase from a kiosk or impulsively. But to have all that info in one place would be great. Of course you have to pick the right place, that is another issue. Like a strip mall, too difficult to get people in that DON'T already vape.....that would be more for someone who already vapes just wanting supplies. An actual mall would be great because people will wander in just because something looks interesting because it is no big deal to walk back out. Because the product is so small you really would only need the smallest type of space, but even so that costs big bucks since most malls are placed in high traffic and/or higher income areas.

Some people also suddenly develop BP issues, due to age and other factors. My dad NEVER smoked, and was about the healthiest person I knew. At 70 he was running 10 miles a day, even in the freezing cold and snow. The ONLY time he didn't was if it was icy. But then he ran indoors on a treadmill. He had always run a very low BP and donated blood every two months, and of course they take your BP, so he was having it checked frequently. One day hours after running he said he was feeling a little short of breath. The next day he said he had a nagging pain in his chest. Long story short I insisted he go to the ER, his BP was was 220/160....three days later he had a quintuple bypass. He now takes hypertension meds. Five years later, and Monday I am bringing him for an angiogram....he went for his normal 6 month stress test and they found two areas of concern. He could be looking at surgery...either stints or another bypass. Sometimes your previous lifestyle, eating habits, age just catches up to you. Hard to tell if it is necessarily related to nicotine or any other single factor. Could be weight, could be narrowing of the arteries, could be a lot of things. I have been vaping for almost a year, my BP has remained very low, abnormally so, if it now suddenly increases I wouldn't think it was from vaping. I would assume it is because I am pushing 50 and this is a common age for such issues to arise. It all depends on a person's lifestyle, past and present, not just one factor. Just like 3 years ago I suddenly had high cholesterol...I hadn't had any change in diet, actually my diet is VERY restricted because I have digestive problems and chronic health problems. NOTHING had changed in my life....time just caught up with me. Six months earlier my cholesterol had been fine, suddenly it was terrible....age does some nasty things to our bodies, along with genetics and our past. There are just so many factors that play into BP and many other health issues. Of course anyone could have an adverse reaction to anything, even things they previously didn't have a problem with. But most doctors will tell you that high BP is rarely caused by one issue, it is usually caused by multiple factors. I have quite a few friends my age, all with high BP, even those who were never smokers and don't vape, just suddenly they are running a high bp, due to a variety of reasons and some cases no identifiable reason, sometimes simply genetics, they have parents who had high BP and now they do too. Just so hard to know. BUT, if I was REALLY worried, I would do my best to lower my nicotine consumption as much as possible or try to quit altogether...okay, I take it back, I would have to be really sick in order to actually stop vaping. Maybe get to the 6 mg level, maybe, LOL
