I recently purchased some SS 420 wire so I could build some TC coils. Being new to this I had no idea what I was buying, all I have bought before was fused Clapton wire. To the internet I went! I tried using a drill to twist some wire, total disaster! I'm sure if I tried again I could do it but it got me thinking. Back in the day when I was racing Motorcycles (Desert) I used to safety were my spokes and had a really cool set of wire twisting plyers... I went to my tool box and there they were! The coil pictured is 3 strands of wire twisted and wrapped 8/7 at 3.5 ID dual coils at 1.7 OHM.

Score! eBay 7.50 + 2.50 shipping! Really good quality, well built 26mm atty and/or mech mod stand. It has 4 small rubber feet to keep it from sliding around. Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/282475132986

I noticed the same thing, not sure why it even has a fire button, it's useless to me. I have seen several videos on building coils where they fire right up? I thought maybe the battery was to low so I put it in the charger and it was still fully charged. If you figure this out@Walt, let me know.

I am unable to get to the forum via Tapatalk all of the sudden. At first I just figured it was the changes you were making but I can login just fine on my PC. When I try using Tapatalk I get to the login screen then enter username and password and then I get "Network error, please try again later" Any ideas?

Problem solved! I decided to try from scratch so I built a new coil, installed it on the Hohm Slice and got the same "Damaged Atomizer" message. Switched to Watt mode and all was good. Then for the heck of it I switched to TC mode and it worked great. I don't the same with the other 3 that previously threw the error and they all worked as well. Sent from a galaxy far far away

I'm definitely liking TC mode, it's a nice even vape throughout the entire draw. Another thing this device has is fast charge capabilities. I normally don't charge my removable batteries inside the device but curiosity got the best of me [emoji41] My battery was at 19% and I plugged it in, 1.5 hours later and it was fully charged. I was bored today and the paint on one of my first mech was coming off. I kept thinking about what to do with it and it came to me out of the blue! I used to be into RC car and very truck competition and I had a bunch of decals so I went digging. The decals they use are of real good quality and relatively inexpensive. Here's what I came up with. Thanks@walt That makes sense, I watched that video as well. They all work fine in Watt mode so I'm not concerned about it. I normally use them on my mech mods but just wanted to try them out. Another thing I noticed, I purchased it with 2 of their batteries. When I got it today I was using it with an efest 26650 battery. When that went dead I put in one of the new batteries and I had to re-adjust everything. It was too hot/warm for my taste. I'm sure that is due to the difference in the batteries.
