  1. Chris offered to replace it, but I think I'll just keep them since the batteries themselves are still functional. I'll end up buying an eGo kit when I can afford it, anyhow.
  2. I've had the kit for about a week now... I really can't afford to buy any new batteries or upgrade at the moment either.
  3. I've had my 510 starter kit for about a week now, and all is well. When I got it, one of the batteries will only light up half of the tip, but it was no biggy at the time since it worked. Last night I accidentally dropped the other battery (that lit up all the way) and not the tip doesn't want to work unless I lightly tap it on the desk once or twice. Actually, now it doesn't really want to work at all... Both batteries still work well, it's just that I'd like the blue LED to work for asthetics. Is there any way to fix this?
  4. Not sure... I'd honestly just wait to get an eGo before buying any LR carto's. Even if they did make a bigger battery for the 510 it still doesn't seem like a good idea. I think you'll be fine with dripped and the standard Boge 510 carto's.
  5. I'm mostly a PC gamer... Consoles are a few generations behind hardware compare to PC's, and FPS games just feel a lot better on a mouse and keyboard to me. But hey, to each his own. I used to play a LOT of Counter Strike Source, and various other games from Valve. Right now I play Counter Strike off and on, WoW, and various old school RPG games (been a fanatic of the Final Fantasy series since I was 5 years old). Can't really get into the newer COD games, they're all too easy on both multiplayer and single player... I don't like how it's just based on kill streaks, kinda defeats the purpose really. Just my opinion though : p Same goes for the newer Fallout games. Wayyyyy overrated. I really need to lay off WoW though... it's really distracting me from a lot of things X.x
  6. The stealth battery doesn't light up at the end like the regular batteries do. They may or may not be smaller than the regular 510 batteries, not too sure haha.
  7. Yup, I'm told that the LR's really aren't recommended for the 510 batteries... I'm definitely investing in some LR equipment once I get an ego somewhere down the line.
  8. I honestly don't understand why it would even be considered for a ban... Just kinda like the FDA making a big deal over medical MJ, but that's a totally different topic...
  9. Yup, I'm buying some Boge Cartos, silver tip, sometime this weekend. Would drip tips be recommended?
  10. Thanks again for the help. I'll probably end up ordering a pack of cartos and a drip tip or two this weekend. I'm kinda glad I didn't go ahead and order the low resistant ones. Somewhere in the near future I'll order the eGo starter kit. At the time I was in the market for an e-cig I really didn't want to spend more than $50 on a kit.
  11. Thanks for the help guys. I did a bit of research on the kinds of liquids before purchasing any, so I'm set on that. There's still another question that I have. Can carto's be used for dripping once the poly goes bad? Or should I just stick to atomizers for dripping?
  12. I recently ordered a Joye 510 and I have been thinking about buying Cartomizers for them, instead of using regular cartridges. I've done quite a bit of research to make sure that it would be worth the money to at least try out. During my research I saw quite a bit about 2.0 ohm low resistant cartomizers... I hear that they're much more effective than the standard 510 carto's, but I really haven't found much information that really describes why they're better. So should I invest in some LR Carto's from Vapor Kings? Or just go with the standard ones? Also, can you drip with the carto's after the poly fiber has kind of gone bad?
