I can only find updates for the Alien and the Osub plus (80w). Nothing on the osub 40.

Now that comment is beyond my pay grade. My wife and I have a "don't ask, don't tell" policy. We split the household bills and as long as they're paid. All is well.

Forgot about that. Oh well, forget that you ordered it and you will get a great surprise!!!

Oh GoD!!!! I hope they fixed them since I bought mine. Mine were a nightmare!!!! They would quit firing mid vape. Sometimes not fire at all. The 510 connector fell out of one. I truly hope they are better now. Mine are both landfill now.

Now you're cookin with gas!!!!

I like it here as well. My favorite forum. If you're into or get into DIY juice the cost goes WAY down. I figure about four cents US an ml. Then you can buy lots of mods!!!!!

Oh lord! Work? Vape?..... Vape? Work? Rough decision! I wish you the best. You keep coming around here you can open up a dedicated account for vape, lol.
-
Good deal!!! I have had good luck with Eleaf devices. I think you have a really good unit there. Having two is always a good idea however

OMG! Buying two years worth of coils at a time. I love it. Ok, I'll check them out. I love it when you spend my money. I'm gonna haveta start sending you some of this stuff!, lol.

Sounds like you're on the right track. Two coils that come with the kit are all ready to prime and vape. Add batteries and e-juice and you're good to go. Do look up Battery Mooch. He is THE battery expert for vaping. Also give good consideration to getting a good battery charger. While the mod will charge the batteries internally, I have seen incidents. Always safer to use an external charger.
-
I'm going to say, just don't! Here's a link to where battery Mooch published his ratings on batteries. The Sony VTC5A will give you 30 amps and the LG HD2 will give you 25 amps. Building under .1Ω is just asking for trouble unless you under-power the build to where it barely gives a vape. On the LG HG2's (20A) Mooch advises about 60 Watts per battery or no more than 120 watts on a two battery mod. Beyond that you are really punishing the batteries and they may not receive that punishment well.

Using a 0.4Ω coil, if you vape quite often, a day is good battery life @ 5000mah especially if you are vaping at 40 to 50 watts, which would be about right for that resistance. Battery life is dependent upon numerous factors. Your mod is probably running off of a 3.7V battery which when tasked with 40 to 50 watts will have a reduced mah in comparison to if you vaped at say 10 Watts. Obviously just the difference between 10W and 50W alone over time will have a very different time span per battery life.

Yup, and then you can be like me, living under an overpass in a box. A big box with a lot of mods and atties!!!! Just kidding, @Tam has got it right. Always be prepared!

If you feel like checking out some real neat information on how airflow works in an atty check out this guy. You will have to look through his videos to find the ones on airflow.

You are very welcome! Especially Djlsb and PBusardo really dig deep into products. I've seen DJ throw samples in the trash can because they were junk and he would not give them away.

Welcome ... Welcome!

Recommended tank for a priv v8
Walt replied to Kcraig09's topic in Tanks, Clearomizers & Drop in Coils
It's always good to prime the coils with e-liquid as well as the tank sit to soak in liquid. I think if that was a problem you would have noticed it first vape. A lot of folks are buying NRG coils for Smok products as the Smok coils seem to cause a lot of folks problems. -
@Tam nailed it. Nobody can tell you which you will like. It's also a pretty tall order to do a full comparison of the two devices. I suggest you google the two with the word "review" after them and look for video reviews. Three reviewers that I like to watch are DJLSB Vapes, PBusardo, and Mike Vapes. Zophie vapes is pretty good to come to think of it. The rest to me are just salesmen.

I like Nicotine River for nicotine, Wizard labs for flavors and I use Amazon for PG and VG unless someone like Wizard Labs has a great sale.
-
Never used it either but if you get desperate you can go to www.e-liquid-recipes.com and they have average percentages used for all kinds of flavorings. That may get you in the ball park.

Thanks! I want to get a scope as well before end of they year but honestly, I've been out of the industry too long to know what to shop for.
