I dooded it. I'm a huge fan of Gandolf the Wizard from my second or third childhood. Lost count. I can envision having a ball with this thing. "Let me consult my crystal ball" This will probably put all my friends right over the edge, except those that vape. 20mm build deck. Oh my! What a playground. Add a little home brew and away we go!

Lol, you sound like me. I'm running around with no driver's license today because I couldn't remember where is put my wallet last night.
-
Oh ya! Only an RBA deck.

Oh poop! That would look bomb on an Alien! I can't keep collecting these things. I'm in trouble. I just saw a review on it that is very positive per operation.

That is gorgeous!

Happy Vape-a-Versary! Toot away! Makes me feel like I can do it too. Just gotta stick with the winners!

It's a tapestry of things that make a great vape. Every tank or RDA is different. Different airflow. Different wicking. I have yet found the recommended setting from the coil calculator to be what I like best. That's part of the fun of building for me. Is this build underwicking? Is it overwicking? Do I think it will handle a "hotter" build? How do I want to use this tank? Do I want it to be a flavor blasting, juice guzzling dessert treat or an all day workhorse? A dual coil costs less than $0.25 to build in most cases. I don't mind experimenting a bit. I've been doing a lot of approx. .3Ω builds lately that are giving me a very decent wattage range to play with, fairly decent battery life. Decent vapor production with 70VG/30PG juice and really nice flavor. Using a 26ga SSL that's about 8 wraps per coil @ 3mm. Easy to fit in many RTA's as a nice spaced coil.

Sounds Great! I'm definitely good for 120 ml batches.

DJlsb also does great reviews on vaping equipment. The guy is sharp.

Everything I've seen outside of the media selling cokes indicates that it has to be unregulated mods, ripped or torn batteries, etc. Here's a great video showing just hard it would be to make a battery blow up: I think you would really have to work at getting a regulated mod to have a catastrophic battery failure.

@FXRich Sorry, that wasn't very clear. The ultrasonic cleaner vibrations turned all four screws in the same direction, causing two of them to tighten and two to loosen and fall out. Thought that was humorous.
-
@FXRich Fun fact you might enjoy. I just cleaned a velocity style deck in the US. It tightened the two grub screws on one side and removed them from the other side. Makes sense when I think about it, lol.
-
@FXRich You are amazing! Very cool. Saves a lot of putzing around measuring 1 mill of this and 1 mill of that.

Same here. I just think it would really nice to tear a container and then just add the ingredients directly from their bottles and simply watch the weight of the batch. Right now I am using two syringes and I do a lot of washing syringes between ingredients. Not sure I will go to weighing, but I'm thinking about it. Love the idea of the reload scale. That is definitely a fine enough measurement.

I see on the calculator I downloaded that it wants weights of the basic ingredients for it to make calculations. I have a scale but is only accurate to 1g. Sent from my iPad using The Vapor Talk mobile app

I like the DIY builds better than commercial coils. I have a couple of GeekVape Tsunami's that is use for a baseline for flavor. I haven't got the same flavor out of a tank yet, but I'm getting closer.

Can some of you DYI'ers recommend a scale for weighing e-juice? I have found a few on the net that have a tear facility and a resolution of 1/100mg but I would feel much better about getting a recommendation first. I have never went wrong with a recommendation from here.

Airflow and wicking have so much to do with flavor. I'm pretty new to building myself, maybe a dozen or so builds, but I have found huge differences between tanks and juices as well. VTMN Island and VTMN Purple, will both give massive flavor in my built Big Baby Beast with a .3Ω build and 110 watts. I have a Sense RTD 2 with a .6Ω build that will start tasting roasted @ 50 watts on long draws. Obviously overdrawing and heating the wicks. I plan on testing different resistance builds as time goes by on each of these. If there is a formula for this, I surely don't know it. Especially the wicking capacity.

You're the best! I like anything right around a 70VG/30PG ratio. I'm not terrible fussy. 50/50 gets a little anemic. And I love pineapple! Can't wait! BTW, grape is great too!

Vaping is like onions. It has layers. (Yes I did steal and bastardize that). As I get further along into building my own atomizers and get lower in resistance and higher in wattage the flavor is bursting! I'm going back through some of the juices I have had for a bit and they are taking on a whole new life. I had tried VTMN Purple and found it an ok vape but no outstanding flavor. Put an RBA into a Crown (I) and holy crap! There is a very distinct flavor. It may not end up being my favorite, but there is flavor. A ton of it! The down side is I really need to up my game making DYI juice. I've got a few tanks and RDA's that are real producers now but they drink juice like flushing a toilet. Holy moly. I had no idea what I was getting into. But I like it!

Looks very respectable to me. Nice spacing. Good clearance. Nicely centered over air flow. Looks like a winner!

Now those were good!
