@Foofightervapegirl Alright! I'm going to try the Pineapple first! Love mixing my own juice. There is just something really great about saying "yup, I made that!". Same with RTAs and RDAs. The wait for the recipes is totally worth it. I know I will love the flavor of both but especially the Pineapple. Congratulations to your sister as well!

I have mostly OEM but I did pick up a couple RDA's in a grab bag that are obviously clones and great little atomizers. A friend who works at a vape shop insisted I buy this one grab bag after I mentioned I wanted something to build. Can't knock the quality. Good practice building and they're still going strong. All good in my books.

Haven't ran across the short problem. If you are using RBA's you might want to revisit the wicking in one that is leaking.

The only time I've had that happen is when I forgot to prime a coil. I totally trashed a Clieto coil that way. Never did start wicking on it's own. Ended up a snack for the trash can.

I see it above all a novelty. It is however a very functional Atomizer. This is an RBA only. No manufactured coil assemblies for this one. The build deck is generous at 20mm. It is a pretty standard Kennedy style two post deep juice well deck. It comes with extra glass tank, clapton coils, grub screws, O-rings, and cotton. Assembling a simple two coil horizontal build is a snap. Wicking the thing was a surprise to me. There are six tiny holes for each of the cotton ends for transferring e-juice from the tank. My initial impression was that it would be best to make the cotton very fluffy and have the ends of the cotton just sweep the bottom of the juice well. Wrong! Niagara Falls! Bring a mop! Watched a few more YouTube videos. Cut the cotton long. Fluff it of course. Pack that cotton against the six little holes. Build quality is good to very good. Machined nicely. Opening up the air flow control only, the thing is a great little dripper, especially for those of us who over drip. The instructions say to remove the drip tip while dripping. I don't bother. It's a straight shot to the bottom of the juice well. The thing is wide open with a short distance from the drip tip to the coils. No chimney per se. The drip tip is also pretty loose with one O ring and proprietary. I like leaving it on. Open the juice control and you have a tank fed dripper. Even with the cotton pretty much packed against the juice control holes, I can't get it to dry hit. Filling the tank is a hoot. The filling slots are long and narrow. Juice tends to flow along the fill slots and vapor lock the tank stopping it from taking liquid. With ample lighting and patients I can fill it to the top. There is a juice control opening that you align with the holes by spinning the tank. I recommend closing the juice control completely while filling. I also recommend closing down the air flow control. The build I have in there are the provided clapton coils @ 0.2Ω. It is producing decent vapor and very nice flavor. The draw is slightly restricted in comparison to many cloud chasing tanks even with the air flow wide open. Definitely a mouth to lung regardless. There is a fair amount of "after vapor" that comes out the air control slots after vaping. Might want to have a cloth for the top of your mod. This is not something I will shove in a pocket and run out the door with. Vaping at home, or in a sit down environment and it's fine. It produces a very pleasant vape and is novel to look at. There is some versatility per it's ability as either a tank fed or dripping atomizer.

lol, you're about right. They are in the room but not in the reflection. looking again there is an upright stick bass in there but it's really difficult to make out.

I'm new to DYI e-juice and the advice given per this thread leaves one obvious choice. Call a hazmat team to dispose of the stuff!

The nautilus coils are very tiny coils designed to give mouth to lung hits or in other words a vape with a very heavy draw. E-juice with higher concentrations of VG will clog them up in a hurry. If you are vaping a thicker e-juice you would do better by using a tank with a larger coil. Consider however that will change your vaping style per less draw. You could also try to find your new flavor in a lower VG solution.

That is correct. An ml = 20 drops of liquid. 0.2 drop would make 6%. One full drop would we way too much!

I have to agree as well. If you could vape with zero nicotine and once in a while enjoy a vape like some folks buy a cigar once a month or so, that would be one thing. Everybody is different. I know a few people who do not get addicted to nicotine but the vast majority of the people I know that have started using it have become addicted. While vaping is much more enjoyable than smoking, I still have to carry my vape stuff with me as I will get nasty cravings for the nicotine if I don't. Had I not smoked, I would not have taken up vaping.

Wow! I would not mess with that. I would never be satisfied that the nic was fully suspended in the rest of the solution for one. #2, everything I've read warns against that great of a concentration level for anything beyond lab use. That's some lethal liquid IMHO. Granted, I could be naive here, but it would scare the baJesus out of me.

Mystery of the missing wallet solved. Gramps old recliner ate it. It's eaten change, hearing aids, and such before but I never thought it could eat a whole wallet. It did. Had a hell of a time fishing it back out.
