  1. That's why I nearly fell over when I found it for fifty bucks. New in a box at a local B&M. Could not pass that up.
  2. Oh hell ya. Somebody decided to flip their semi this morning and I got caught in the bowl movement of gapers. Thinking all the time, I could smoke again for this much fun. The fumes where horrendous. Not a good time to be able to smell. I won't comment on NPR. I feel too good today to start a political **** storm.
  3. You verbalize it well. Fancy build coils are fun to toy with, but like yourself, I get great vapes from real simple builds. Sometimes better.
  4. My Smok Alien and GX 350 are smooth, but they don't compare to the Yihi. Simply an amazing vape.
  5. I have really gotten away from tanks with pre-made coils. I'm never really satisfied with they way they perform. I have a lot better results with something I can build.
  6. Serious. I used 24g stainless 316e. Real simple build. Made it a spaced coil. I have to be honest, I like playing around with more exotic coils but I really don't find a huge difference in vapor/flavor. I think it's more about finding a build that works with the tank or dripper. In this case it also had to work with the mod. I wanted a higher resistance and the ability to use tc. Get everybody working together and you get a hell of a vape.
  7. What a difference! I've been vaping on the Yihi SX mini ML class for about a day now in power mode. I put a build in a single coil Ammit just for the mod using about a .4Ω build on the single coil as the mod is a power hog. Vapes very nice at 40 Watts. Thought I would try temp control. Set it for 42 joules since I knew 40 watts was plenty. Amazing!!!! One each USDA grade A smooth vape with a consistent temp from start to finish. With my other mods I really feel the temp control kick in and knock down the temperature. Not this thing. Just gives me 440F from start to finish. Gotta try a dna someday. I hear they are really good at tc as well. I could become a fan of this.
  8. Love my Govad. Any resistance you want! Others I have that are good as well are Tsunami, Goon, Pharaoh, and Tobeco Stargate. Any of these could be built between .3 and .4Ω and be just fine with the wattage you develop.
  9. I started by joining www.e-liquid-recipes.com and downloading this calculator: http://ejuice.breaktru.com/ Take some time to play with the calculator. It comes with some recipes. Learn how to tell the calculator what type of nic you are using and how to set your desired nic strength. If you have a good relationship with a local B&M they probably have a book full of juice descriptions that will give you starting points regarding the flavors used in juices. You won't get a recipe but you may get some really helpful hints.
  10. Stylin! Found this for Fifty bucks at a local B&M. Nearly fell over.
  11. Yes you did, and as you can summarize, I have been giving them my money, lol. Like I said, you have helped immensely! I have gathered a ton of Ednasupplies over the last five months.
  12. Not to spend your money or anything (snicker snicker), but here are a couple of fun add-ons for down the road that I found useful: https://www.homesciencetools.com/pyrex-erlenmeyer-flasks Nice and light, don't add much weight to the scale for measuring. Thin bottom, magnetic pills work great. Has that laboratory/mad scientist look that I find so appealing. https://www.amazon.com/SE-8036TM-NEW-Telescoping-Magnetic-Capacity/dp/B000RB3XBA Really helps in getting the pill out of the flask.
  13. You're the best @Edna, But as you have taught me well, Back-ups, Back-ups, Back-ups. You may need to order another in the fall. Just in case!!
  14. Congratulations!!! And BTW, you've helped me immensely in my journey into vaping as well! Make hay while the sun shines. We'll be here when you get done
  15. @Edna Right here!!! https://www.amazon.com/Powerful-Magnetic-Stirrer-Electrode-Holder/dp/B01M3RUGQY/ref=sr_1_1?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1495634444&sr=1-1&keywords=Apera+601 Cute little bugger isn't it? Get these too: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B019IBBUKU BTW: @Earthling789 gave me these suggestions. Credit where credit is due. He hit the nail on the head for what I need.
  16. That's really the bottom line. Can't change em, so .... whatever. People like that are like yappy little dogs, only even yappy little dogs can be lovable.
  17. I guess I'm just in a melancholy mood but a friend posted this and it hits me as a way to degrade vaping. Interesting attributes of a character composite lump together. Oh well, it's what people do.
  18. This is unfortunate but it seems to be typical. From Facebook:
  19. I have a Sence Herakles RTA-2 and it is ok-fine. Doesn't compete well with a few newer RTA's that I've picked up: dual coil Ammit, Troll, Crystal Ball, Pharaoh RDTA. Sorry I can't help regarding tanks with premade coils.
  20. Ditto. I get a very satisfying vape from it. I just mixed up some 50/50 Tiger's blood for it. Very nice! Definitely a contributing member of my arsenal. Great conversation piece as well.
  21. Another quick shout out for the Templar! Was my go-to for a show we put on at a rather posh fund raising event. Perfect! Discreet in the pocket, elegant in the hand. Satisfying vapes. No insane overly conspicuous clouds. Perfect for that crowd.
