I'm going to do you a huge favor and not answer that. You have to understand what you are doing with a mech mod. Learn how to use this site: http://www.steam-engine.org/wirewiz.html Study this: https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/blog-entry/14-ohms-law-explained-for-vapers.6293/ Use this to find accurate amp ratings for batteries: https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/blog-entry/list-of-battery-tests.7436/ Use google and read up on "mechanical mod safety"

@Squid nailed it for you. Not good practice. Will you have a catastrophic failure? Probably not. Most will go as far as to "marry" batteries, all the same make and model, all the same age, all always charged together. Many mods will refuse to operate if they sense the batteries are too different in charge levels. And yes, the batteries you are using will discharge at different rates.

Nope, the standard first version of the Revenger. Two 18650 series mod. I think Vaporesso is really upping their game. @gadget That is one of the cutest little atties I have ever seen. Love short atties like that.

Doesn't work like that. Nicotine absorbs into the bloodstream differently with the two delivery systems. Ya kinda have to ditch stinky thinkin and start thinking vape. Folks generally find somewhere between 6 and 24 mg of nicotine satisfying. Everybody is different. Nicotine concentration levels will also vary with how you vape e.g. MTl, DL, plus ohm, sub ohm.

What a doll! Love the smile!!! -
I'm impressed with this one. Very comfortable in the hand. Comparable to the G Class in size. Sweet rocker style fire button. Sleek understated aesthetic. TC that rivals Yihi and DNA. 350 puffs at~ 2.5sec, 400°F, .5Ω build.

Yes I have! Another real nice RTA! I've got a pretty low resistance build in it right now for use with a mech mod.
-
Funny. I just discovered a couple of high resistance loose mtl tanks that I 'slip stream" as a DTL. Using 50/50 juice in them and getting a wonderful sparkling flavor off of them. Gave new life to my single battery mods as well with the longer battery life. Really enjoying some old Eleaf Lemos Drops. Bottom fill and all. Of course right next to them is the master blaster dual coil Ammit, lol. Crazy, but I love them all.
-
I'm glad you pointed that out. Thinking about it even more, it will be very nice for planning a mech mod build. Good stuff.
-
Yea, poor example on my part. Thinking about it a little more, I don't make any single coils down to .25Ω anyway. Looking at the same heat flux with a dual coil makes more sense.
-
Thank you Foo! Love the hat!!!!
-
That looks like a pretty reasonable result for heat flux. I have never trusted that though. If I build say a .25Ω coil with 26g ss it comes up with 7.1W. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Welcome all! It sounds as if you may be putting the mod(s) in temp control with Smok sub ohm tanks attached e.g. baby beast, big beast, monster beast. All of those tanks use coils that are made out of Kanthal. Temp control will not work with Kanthal coils on a Smok device. You mod will "toss" you back into variable wattage mode. This is a good thing. Variable wattage is what you want to use for these coils/tanks. I believe you have the low power setting problem solved already. Nice work! My Alien tossed me back into variable wattage mode once but set the wattage for 220W when it did. That was a bit of a surprise when all of a sudden I was vaping fire (so to speak). There is quite a bit of information here and on the web if you want to try temp control someday. For now enjoy!

Thank you Matty! You're year is right around the corner. There before ya know it!

Thanks! Sounds like a plan. Can't wait to see what you come up with. I like your approach for sure. Stretch that envelope!!!

Thank you VapeMana! It means a lot to me to be able to share this!

Thank you Cany!

Happy New Year! I can't wait to see what the next year brings for all of us. It will no doubt be amazing!

Thank you Mr. Bebop! And a Happy New Year to you as well!!!

I thought about listing names but God forbid I should miss one. And it was not only those who gave me advice directly, but those also who wrote to this forum that offered so much support. I don't want to make it sound like a struggle because it wasn't. It was pure joy. But there were soooooo many questions over the past year: coil resistance and wattage, how do I stop this thing from spitting at me?, Pg and Vg in the freezer?, magnetic mixer?, backpack, bag, case?, on and on and on. Oh and of course spending my money for me, but wisely! I never even dreamed this could happen. One full year without smoke. I can even shovel the driveway without coughing till I can't stand up. This year has been a drink from a fire hose. From an EGO AIO to a hybrid mech mod with a .23Ω parallel clapton build and DYI Smuf Cake. TC Squonk with a DNA drone. I had no idea what these things even were a year ago. But more than all that, the friends I've made here! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Well congratulations! Wonderful to hear it can be done!

Looks real sharp to me. Glad you got a lot of "take home" experience though. I think about learning new joining configurations in wood working. Oh my. A lot of wasted wood and some hair loss. But once all the techniques are down, some damn nice results.
-
You're welcome. If you haven't already, play with this while you are waiting. http://www.steam-engine.org/wirewiz.html Some of the stats on each build type may give you some insight into the differences.
-
Get a few in short lengths and try them. They are all good usable constructions. You'll use them up in time. By the time you add in shipping the cost difference won't be that great.

30x3+38 would ramp quick. Give it a shot. Just don't buy 1000 Ft the first time around. See if you like it first.
