Yeah for sure. My eGo is glued to my lips. I vape 18mg. I did try 24mg and it was totally to much nicotine for me. I would not be able to vape 24 like 18. I think my head would explode. 18mg is my butter zone. Congrats on becoming a non-smoker.

Hydrate. Yes you will need to consume much liquid. It normally does not last much longer then you vape. but yeah it will dehydrate you if you are not drinking something.

Thanks Jeff, I just ordered Blackberry Lemonade and Very Cherry from them. I will let you all know how they vape.

Vendors Welcome to input. If you have the Jolly Rancher flavor I would like to know.

Hello all, I have gone back into lurking mode on the forums. Still enjoying the posts and stop by every day. Thanks for all the wonderful advice and posts. I have hit my sweet spot for vaping, but I am looking for a little advice on a Cherry flavor. What I am looking for is a cherry flavor EXPLOSION like a Jolly Rancher. I have heard that most cheery flavors taste like medicine or NyQuil so I have been hesitant of ordering any. So instead of the hit and miss method I thought I would ask for advice. What is the best cherry that you have tried? Thanks in advance.

Really? A Little Turn On A Carto Will Help?
brijmin replied to AimeeG's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I found this to be true with Carto's and Atty's. They don't preform well right out of the box. It seems like they need a burn in period. When I first break out a new atty or carto I need to take 15 or 20 drags on it before it starts to produce good vapor and flavor. I always think dud... With my Carto's I do take a pin and run it around the outside between the filler and the metal tube, but this is to mainly help the juice soak in. -
Thanks for sharing that Uma.

I use both Carto's and Atty's. Carto's on drives mostly. There is no difference in dripping. The Riva will pop more when fully charged. I use standard 510 atty's, but i have recently ordered some LR's because i hear good things about the flavor and vapor production.

The very first thing I do is remove the wick and bridge. I find that I will eventually remove the wick and bridge anyways so why not do it at the beginning. I mostly do it so I can see how much juice is on the coil. 99% of the time I go by tastes to tell me when to add more juice, but I like the visual inspection as well. This also lets me see when the coil is getting junked up. Dark VG juice is the worst for junk. I hear the complaint from some that removing the bridge causes more leaks, but I have not found this to be true for me. I do drip more often (2 drops MAX). There is less in there to hold the juice.

Nice pay it forward review. Thanks.

I should have taken some pics of the differences. A picture speaks a thousand words. I personally have not had any button issues with either. The button on the eGo shuts off immediately after release while the Riva remains on for a second after release. I have pictured the eGo Pass-through, a normal eGo and a Riva. http://picasaweb.google.com/brijmin/EGoVRiva I added some captions to help explain the differences. The eGo just feels better constructed. Everything from the push of the button to the threading of the cone. The better "feel" may come from the coating as well. There is a different finish on each... Hard to explain without touching it yourself.

First Welcome to Vapor Talk. Second you should look into the eGo. Technically there is nothing wrong with other ecigs, hands down the eGo is the best I have used. Check out Which E-Cig Is The Best?

Sounds like you flooded your atty. If that is the case, remove the atty and blow it out into a paper towel. Removing the wick should not have an affect on the performance when direct dripping. I personally remove the bridge on all my atty's. That way i can see exactly how much juice is sitting in the little cup around the heating coil. There is a fine line between flooded and dry. The best part about removing the bridge is now you can see what is going on. Use caution when removing the bride as you could pull the wires out of the bottom of the atty that connects to the battery. Also don't look directly down in the atty when pushing the button as the juice could pop out into your eye. Not Pleasant. Have you tried a new atty?

I ordered a 5 pack of the Vapor Talk Store 510 Cartomizers a while ago and just now decided to give them a whirl. Well people either love'em or hate'em. I think that has to do with how they fill them. Let me explain. When I first got them, I watched the video by Chris on How to Fill a 510 Cartomizer. I figured I was in line Flin. Yeah not so much. I was in the hate'em category. So I put them aside... Then I decided to give it another try. Well I am glad I did because now I am in the love'em category. --- what made the difference? It was how I filled the carto. --- What did I do to correct the, burnt, fiber taste? Even though I thought I had filled it. Apparently NOT. I took a pin (or paper clip) and shoved it down the sides to help the juice soak in to the filler material, and kept working the juice into the carto filling it with a ton of juice. I also let the juice soak in all they way before starting to vape. I can now recommend Carto's IF you follow the video by Chris and let the juice soak in. Moral of the story? If at first you don't succeed, try something different, until you do.

The air holes are not a different width, more like a different cut. The air hole sort of slant down and are not a square cut like the eGo. Sort of hard to explain in words. Yeah for sure the button glows the entire time they charge. My volt meter is a cheap analog dial. The exact reading was hard to tell for sure, but it was higher than the eGo. I got mine from Liberty Flights as well, maybe different vendors sell different quality versions. Not sure. After vaping both for a while now, I can tell you the better of the two is the eGo. It makes a decent backup unit. I would recommend this as a cheaper alternative to anyone on a budget. My primary device is still the eGo.

May be a little hard to tell if you have not de-bridged your atty. I would recommend removing the wick, if you are Direct Dripping. LR is a Low Resistance Atomizer. They normally have a little LR on them someplace. This was one of the reasons why i started removing the Wicks and Bridges from my atties first thing. Once these are removed you can SEE the atty coils and see if anything is wrong down there. Once I had a burnt taste it was a small piece of the bridge wire mesh that got stuck on the atty coil. Removal of the wick. Removal of the bridge. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5y92hSxwdI Hope this helps.

Good content helps in a higher indexing on search engines and the VT community is AWESOME.

I generally don't vape in non-smoking places. When I do its on the sly. Its not that I don't want to, or can not handle the looks and comments. I really just don't want to explain what I am doing to a complete stranger. I usually just go to the bathroom and vape in a stall.

I am not sure what the mix is on the Midnight, but like BirdDog said the more Nicotine the more Throat Hit. If you can increase the PG that will help on the TH as well. I thought all the VTS juices were 100% PG already... So that piece of advice may not be any good for you. A quick word on Propylene Glycol (PG) -vs- Vegetable Glycerin (VG) Propylene Glycol (PG) More throat hit, more flavor. Slightly sweet and colorless. Vegetable Glycerin (VG) Smoother, Slightly thicker and sweeter. Produces more vapor.
-
I find that the type and mix of juice dictates how often I drip. But your estimate seems about right. I really should keep track. Its more of a feel and slight taste change that I get that tells me when the atty is getting dry.

Thanks for the review. I was wondering about their juices.
