Uncivil11 reacted to Tam in Vape creates burning sensation in my throat
If you're not filling your tank, it's a good possibility that you burned your wick, which will give you the burning sensation when you take a draw. This is not a dripper type of tank, it's made so that it holds liquid. You need enough liquid to keep your wick wet. I would change out your heating coil, refill the tank and let it sit for a few minutes to let the liquid soak into your wick and then try vaping it again. Start with a low wattage, vape. If that doesn't give you satisfactory results, increase the wattage/power by just a bit and vape. Repeat until you get just a hint of a burning taste, back down your watts a bit and that should be the sweet spot for that coil and juice.

Wow. That wasn't necessary. Thank you. This was my first purchase from you, but I will be back for sure. Nice to see good customer service these days.
Again, Thank you.

I deal with this type of communication daily as my main suppliers are over seas. She wants you to double check your coil and video your problem

iJoy Tornado Nano RTA - close out sale 7.95
This came with a clear glass installed and a black tinted glass in the box.
I put the black one on, started vaping and got a surprise! [emoji41]
When it gets warm or hot it turns semi-transparent white. The darker portion on the bottom is the juice.

Oh that's a hoot. I'm sure the Guberment will have Vape PoPo soon if they don't already have some. Appreciate the idea but I don't want to let this wonderful hobby become work.

Uncivil11 reacted to Bebop in Smok V8 Stick
It's a built in battery. After a year or more it will gradually hold less and less of a charge and fade away eventually just stopping
but it won't matter because by then you'll have 5 or 6 different devices 😀

I keep a 1" strap of leather on hand around a foot long. It will wrap around the stick idem and can be turned into a strap wrench. Works great

Uncivil11 reacted to Bebop in DIYers - Flavor choices and Preferences
Well. Im not planning on starting my venture into mixing my own flavors until this weekend.
But, I couldnt resist. I dipped in wrecklessly and 6 drops of the essence of terror and 5 drops of sinister sauce later, I had mixed 10 mils of a capella vanilla custard at 3mg and a 75vg/25pg
...it's fantastic! And so easy... Why did I wait so long???? I have no idea. I can't wait to break into the other flavors.
When the stirring's done can I lick the spoon? Of course, ha ha, of course!!

I've been vaping a number of years and found my chest x-ray was clear taken a few days ago.. in fact my VA doctor said my lungs were in excellent condition.. proof positive that vaping is a healthy choice and won't hurt me... I was stoked as I have COPD:-)

Uncivil11 got a reaction from Mr_Vape in The more you read the more confusing it gets
Perhaps it's me but I find the more I read the more confusing vaping gets. I have been doing this a couple of years now and I am finding what I thought I knew I'm not sure what I know? [emoji848] most of what I am finding out there is in my opinion outdated information that hasn't kept up with the technology. Any recommendations on sources for the basics or someone very patient to make some basic things make sense to my simple mind? Maybe someone knowledgeable that would entertain pms on a question and answer base or here in the thread. I have spent the last few days just muddying up already murky water in my search for knowledge of vaping.

Uncivil11 reacted to christinaj in Staining in your mouth??
Someone on Reddit just told me that I have been using my CE4s clearos way too long and the discoloration I found is likely "burnt silica".
*headdesk*
I can absolutely confirm that I've been using them too long. I didn't realize. Just been putting up with the slightly off flavor until it gets so burnt tasting I can't stand it.
This may stand as the dumbest thing I do in 2017. LOL

Wow! I'm not going to hold my breath. From what I have witnessed politicians and sanity can not coexist. Give it to the Guberment and they will destroy it. Simple.

Uncivil11 reacted to Walt in Gettin the hang of this
This may seem like a pointless post, but I want to share my little victory with the only folks I know will understand. Been fighting with a strawberry home brew for awhile. I am starting to get a feel for what each flavor will do in a mix. I dare say I have found Strawberry Cream recipe that is exactly what I was looking for. Now that is impossible buying commercial juices. Don't mistake me, some are very good. But I had a taste in my mind and I hit it. For me, this is when vaping becomes exquisite!

Uncivil11 reacted to Walt in Dry hit
Hard to say. Sometimes just running juice through it will cause the burnt taste to dissipate. Sometimes rinsing it and letting it dry will help. Sometimes there's nothing that can be done short of a new coil. I'm assuming of course that it is a pre-made coil. If it was an RBA, you could just re-wick and go.

Uncivil11 reacted to Edna in Syringes
I found that my local (livestock) feed store carries larger size syringes (20/50ml) and they work better than the 10ml for VG. They're sterile and perfect size for DYI ejuice. Earthling is 100% right that it would be a bugger to get straight VG thru that small a needle. I just pull out the plunger and pour the VG into the syringe to the measurement I need then put the plunger back and push it into the bottle. Works like a charm and makes measuring easy
Basically I use 3 syringes for a 30/60ml bottle of juice.... for larger amounts I use graduated pyrex beakers as a rule though.
1ml (for nicotine)
10 or 20ml for flavors
20 or 50ml for VG

I didn't care for the Kanger toptank mini as the flow was too tight for me. I think I'm the definition of insanity to a sense. Ordered a big baby and a cloud beast instead to replace my failing rtas

I ordered one since they were one sale and I have been wanting them with some wire and a couple batteries. Pondered on it a few days and order another just so I don't have to unscrew tanks. I mean it's in sale is what l tell the wife.

I got the purple tissue paper today too. No nice note but that little flavor packet of Adam's apple sure brightened up my order as I left my juice at home and just had what was in the baby beast tank to get me through lunch!
Got one of my new aliens woohoo

Picked up a brand new old style tab meter/fire box. Not the mini. Found it at a B&M for $24.00. Was shocked!

Uncivil11 reacted to smacksy in SMOK TFV12 Cloud Beast King Tank
A trick I use to get resistance right is after my coils are installed I put the atty on a dedicated ohmmeter..
I then touch the posts and legs with a small screwdriver looking for any fluctuations in ohms indicating a possible lose post screw or damage to the legs...usually a simple tightening down the right post screw fixes the problem..
