I have some french vanilla coffee flavor that I got and there's something missing I'm hoping the sweetener I ordered will fix it. Maybe it needs cream I'm not sure but I can't vape it as is so I can experiment until I run out or I come up with something good..Either way I don't feel like I'll be out anything since it's just sitting on a shelf being ignored. I tried the clear TFA chocolate and it wasn't as rich as the double dark, being a chocoholic I want the flavor to be strong. I'll try the carmel suggestion though I ordered some to go with ht granny smith apple flavor I got too. Thanks for the suggestion! I just figured I'd learn to build so I can have my chocolate and not spend quite so much on buying coils.

Thanks again. I'm going to have to put my VG into smaller containers only because a gallon won't fit in my small freezer it's too tall. I'm going to take your advice to heart and if I mix up something tasty I'll have to send you some

Holy Smoke @Earthling789 is your hand tired...WOW thank you. I already have some amber/blue jars with droppers (1oz) and some larger (4oz) with black caps that I was going to use. But I bought a gallon of VG and quart of PG so I figured I'd used the mason jars with my vacuum sealer to get the air out of them. I also only got 250 ml of nicotine since I'm trying to phase it out. I'm not sure what kind of jars the flavors will come in I ordered from the flavor apprentice. I have labels galore since I can up stuff from my garden on a regular basis so that's easy. I rotate my food so rotating my juice will be like second nature So you pre-mix your pg/vg/nic and put in smaller bottles those go in the freezer and your made juices go in fridge. That's pretty much what I planned on doing but I just realized I have to get canning up some meats to make room for everything in my freezer... that or throw a heck of a B-B-Q.... Hiya All, Noob questions I'm excited though....DYI goodness (hopefully) I was wondering how and where you store your base liquids (PG/VG/nic) and flavorings? Do you mix the ratio you want like 70vg/30pg and set it in the freezer like that and add whatever as you make various flavors or keep the all separate and mix as you go? My DYI supplies are coming in this week and I was thinking I'd mix some base and then freeze the rest. I have my nicotine already in the freezer in it's original bottle, thinking I can mix it in as needed and as I lower down from a 6mg to a 4 then eventually a 3 then ZERO (I hope sooner than later) Oh, should I also put everything in glass mason jars or keep it in the plastic bottles? I'm not fond of glass in the freezer but it is an investment that I don't want to have to repeat because gravity, being a klutz, or Murphy gets me ...darn him.... however if glass is better I'll put a mattress under the door every time I open it or maybe a safety net Thanks, Edna

I noticed with fasttech that if you click on your orders it will tell you if something will ship right away or if it has some lead time like "ships in 7 days" on each item. So it seems that it will only get going when the last thing on your purchase is ready. I ordered a couple of things and only after I paid did I realize that one of the items wouldn't be ready to ship for 12 days so I canceled that one item and the rest of the order shipped the next day. I then went in and reordered the slow item with the credit for the cancelled one. So most of what I wanted arrived quicker and the other later. It's better than holding up coils or something if you are going to be needing them soon.

@FXRich Well what if it was something like this: Mint (FW) 3% = mint- flavor wizard 3% Raspberry (TFA) 2% = raspberry- the flavor apprentice 2% That way everyone knows what flavoring company is used in the recipe and can adjust accordingly.

@Earthling789 Amen to not buying analogs.. .I realized getting started would be expensive...but I never thought I'd be getting this into it. I'm having all kinds of fun...I enjoy the taste of things again and want to try them all....I think I've spent about $300 and I have to stop but I wanted to make sure that if the deeming cuts us off I had back ups.... so I jumped in the vape pool with both feet. Now I have to start behaving. But there's just so much cool stuff.....

I was thinking maybe a recipe only section. I know there's a lot of DYI ejuice catagories but finding recipes means reading a lot of posts.(which I enjoy when I'm not pressed for time) but the search is time consuming. But if I want a recipe for chocolate raspberry cake I'd have to dig around. instead of clicking a tab .... I think there are so many nice DYIers that have yummy sounding juices that they might be willing to share.....? I don't know... I'm somewhat new to all this but I really trust the people here versus some of the other forums that seem not so reputable or close knit.... Just an idea... Thanks, Edna

I just ordered an eleaf 60W TC and a griffin tank as well as a SMPL mechanical mod to test my builds on. I also got some TFA flavorings and pg/vg so I can try my hand at DYI juice. I also ordered a RDA and another ijust 2 and melo III with their rebuildable coil kits. I spent my kids inheritance but I'm sure they'll never know cause I'm not telling!

If you do vape and wind up with a dry socket use oil of clove soaked on cotton and put it in the socket. It stops the pain really fast. The eugenol is extremely effective. It also prevents infection. I had major oral surgery and that's what my surgeon gave me. I keep it on hand and have helped a few friends on weekends who couldn't get to the dentist until Monday with it. I'm not a doctor but do have a nursing degree so I'm not talking nonsense. Tam is right though, you want to wait until your clot is firmly established before sucking anything. You can get oil of clove at a health food store. It tastes really strong but you get used to it.

Well, I actually built my first coil day before yesterday and it turned out pretty ok. I was shooting for .4ohm and it came in at .42. I checked it on my ohm meter first then on my pico and the reading on the pico was 3.8 so I think I'm close. I haven't vaped it yet (I know...what) but I wanted to get here to get input on the different readings before I did anything stupid. Thanks for any input. I used Kanthal A1 24 guage wire and 7 wraps. on my Doge RDA

@jasonculp Thanks for the links, I got the batteries with a gift card I had received. But I'm sure I'll be needing more sooner or later and I'll look there first.

All my mods are regulated I think, My dripbox is a flat 60w and my 2 eleaf's (pico and istick 40 tc) are regulated. I bought 3 sets of batteries they're the 4 LG HE2 18650 2500mAh 35A 3.7v Rechargeable Flat Top Batteries 2pcs 18650 2500mah 20A discharge Samsung INR18650-25R li-ion power cell and I've kept them "married" for my devices. I read a lot before I got a replaceable battery mod so I think I did ok. Am I on the right track? I use the Samsung in the dripbox and the LG's in the pico

I'm a a bit timid when I'm dealing with ohms and electronics so I figure I had better triple check myself...I don't want to end up like those guys on TV and be a reason for more regs

Oh my, great price! I like mint too do they have a chocolate mint? So far vape wild has been my go to their juice is $60 for 480 ml (16x30ml bottles) but they have a 15% coupon right now off everything (FREEDOM15) and they always toss in some extra juices for samples and vape it forward ...I love their customer service it's awesome. <removed link>

Thanks all, I've been reading and watching youtube video's until my eyes are popping out. I'm getting some 26 and 28 gauge wire from amazon AWG brand I think it is (I haven't bought it yet it's in my cart) I also put in some pre-built coils in different ohm ratings so I can learn to use my ohm meter right. (checking mine vs theirs) I want to do this in the safest way possible. Y'all are great !
