@smacksy I use 3 different mods, my eleaf 50W, 60W or my eleaf pico 75W and oops, yes, I meant 0.21 ohms LOL

iStick 20W can't settle on resistance

Hi and welcome to Vapor Talk! The website is www.eleafus.com and they have their contact information on that maybe they can help you that way. -
That's a drag that it melted. I don't know if you've looked, but Slowtech carries spare insulators for a bunch of different tanks. Since you've got another coming, you can wait on a slowboat from China so you have two tanks Just a thought.

I'm SO glad we could help out There are a lot of awesome people on this forum that have helped me tremendously too. Happy vaping, Edna

This is why I stick with wattage...I'm confused now
-
Yes, I did and they were right on the money. I fiddled with them to get rid of the hot spots and they're working fine. I switched the tank to a different mod and it came out at 2.1 I think it was because my istick's battery was low. It tastes SOOOOO good now

No it wasn't a waste of money at all..you just need to use your nautilus mini on it instead of the melo 2 which is a sub ohm tank. You're fine Lets start over. Use your Nautilus mini tank and put it on the 60. Drop your watts down to around 9.0 and slowly work up until you find the correct setting for you. @Tam can probably help you more on this. I know she uses a coil similar to yours on her Aspire Triton V2 tanks I think she sets it around 9.7 but I'm sure you might have a different setting since no one vapes exactly the same. Don't give up! we'll get it figured out No it wasn't a waste of money at all..you just need to use your nautilus mini on it instead of the melo 2 which is a sub ohm tank. You're fine Lets start over. You might read this thread there's a few people who vape MTL and with different tanks that might work for you. Tank suggestions I vape sub ohm so I'm not that versed in these but try the Nautilus about 9w until more folks chime in

In your Aspire tank what coil were you using? Maybe if we know that, we can help you more also, what juice are you using and what's the pg/vg ratio? If you're using the 0.3 coil with a high pg ratio juice it's going to be harsh. That coil likes a higher vg ratio..I learned that one the hard way I have an eleaf 60 and I love it. There is a learning curve though. I hope we can help you out because it's a great mod/tank kit.

The eleaf pico can do NI in TC and I believe that the ipower and 60W can too

I threw in (2) 0.4ohm prebuilt fused clapton coils. They came out to 0.27ohms and I like it much better. Now just to get the flavor dialed in and I'll be a happy camper. Thanks @smacksy

Hi and welcome to VT Spice Queen! The drip tip is removable and can be replaced with one you like better that's easy. You know you can use the tank that you used on the istick 40 on the 60. Then you can just use the same settings (or close) because just like with the 40 the more freshly charged the battery the stronger it is, as the power in the battery goes down you might have to tweek it a bit. The operation of the istick 60 is just like the 40 for the most part. It just has more options. Your Eleaf 60 and melo 2 kit came with 3 EC coil heads. The one with the white o-ring is 0.3ohms and a mildly warm vape you can use it between 25-60W and is for wattage mode. (it's the one that comes pre-installed) The coils with the blue TC-NI 0.15ohm and red o-rings are for TC-TI 0.5 ohm these are for temperature control. (60W max on both) You might want to watch this: Eleaf 60W Video He breaks it down quite well. Or maybe this one: by rip tripper

@smacksy Thanks for your help! It's not that I'm getting dry hits... I'm not so sure of my builds. I don't want to drop my ohms below a 0.3 so I'm trying to figure things out. Maybe in this tank I should switch to tiger coils. I can wrap those. I haven't made clapton's yet, but I do have some pre-mades. I'm more worried about the dual builds I usually only build single coils. Suggestions ?

Hi All, HELP! I got a Griffin. I gave one to my soon to be daughter in law and tried it and loved it so much I broke down and used points to get one. I put in (2) 26AWG 7wrap 4mm dia. Nichrome coils and it reads 0.4ohms but it's spitting and gurgling at 26.5W but when I turn it up it starts tasting burnt. I watched a couple of videos on building it but something is amiss. It's not shorting and there are no visible hot spots, I made sure the cotton wasn't too tight and setting on top of the juice. It seems to be wicking well enough. What did I do wrong or not do? oh, I'm using 70vg/30 pg juice. I hope this is enough to go on. Thanks

Cupti update 10 days later... I returned the Cupti to the shop where I got it. At first it seemed like a good little mod. However after using it for the last 10 days I found it wasn't as good as I thought. The chip must have been bad or something. I was vaping about 27W and no matter if I turned it up or down it kept burning the coils within a day or day and a half. So I tried it in TC. it didn't make a difference. At first I thought it was me but it wasn't I tried different juices and pg/vg ratio's. The coil heads were all 0.5 ohms and should have easily handled the wattage. I used clear and dark juices. I blew through 6 coils in the 10 days I had it. (admittedly the first coil was my fault) I tried everything I knew and it just didn't work. From everything I've read on the web it doesn't seem like KangerTech is coming out with the CLRBA anytime soon, so that wasn't an option over the premade coil heads to see if they could make a difference. Luckily my local shop took it no questions asked and restored my loyalty points and I'm going to wait until they have something that I really want to use them on. Just a heads up to my experience with the Cupti... If you're still considering one...It never leaked or anything. The positives I described above are all still true I might have just gotten a faulty unit.

@spydre I'll PM you the link ...check in a few min.

@spydre No, I believe you can only get them from Fasttech at least that's the only place I've ever seen them and yes, spit-back is when juice comes out of the drip tip. The stuff with soda is backwash at least that's what we always called it Pretty
-
@Tam Whoo Hoo! they made it! What colors did you get? @spydre The screens are awesome, I've decided that they're the only style of drip tip I'll use anymore. No spit back, no condensation, they stay cool and clean up easily. Can't ask for more than that.

I had a HUGE surprise in the mail Monday, I received an istick 50W from @Tam! Along with it was two wraps, I'm having trouble deciding which I'll put on they're both cool! I was in shock. I fired it up and have used it quite happily! I can see why Tam loves this mod Thanks Tam !

When I started smoking at 13, I could walk into a small local store and say my mom sent me to get her cigarettes or get them in a machine with no questions asked. It was that way until I turned 18+. When my kids started I couldn't stop them they got them from someone. Now I'm trying to get them to switch to vaping since one has kids of his own. I'm not happy about it but I'd rather that they vape than expose themselves to the 4K plus chemicals there are in analogs.

I know they have I had my ID stolen so I'm paranoid. It cost me thousands until I got everything fixed. Then I got paid back but I'm never going thru that again.

No, I have one other place where I order but I never have given out the last for of my SS#. . I stopped ordering from VapeWild because they asked for it but they've changed that policy because they lost so much business. However, I still haven't ordered from them
