i was lucky enough to have my batts replaced by a vendor no longer in business today, gave the two riva 650 replacement battery's to mother in law and she quit now as of 40 yrs of smoking, also uses LR attys ( one battery is bad now, been 4 months of rotating 2). so in conclusion, we probably just hit a bad batch/bad attys/bad luck. I ALWAYS RECOMMEND TO NEW VAPERS SPEND THE MONEY UP FRONT! you get what you pay for, find a nice mod that fits you and go to town. I wish i blew my load on the PROVARI (only $100 more).... lol

<--- did the same scrapped the ego and went to the screwdriver... i had a bad 1.5 LR atty that burned the mosfet chip by being stuck on, i switched battery's and it fried my 2nd battery. i have had my screwdriver 6+ months now, all i have bought is cartos and juice. screw paying = $20 a battery for the name "EGO" which half of what is being sold is a knock off. shouldnt all these be labeled DO NOT USE LR ATTYS on the ego's!!!

buy a 306 lr atty if you want tons of flavors, i have read the tanks are poor flavor producers, the 306 is amazing. it is a 510 thread already

Just got some 306 LR attys from electronicstix, gotta say if your looking for the atty closest to a analog, these are for you! I vape mostly Tobacco flavors, loading this little guy with 3 drops it PACKS A PUNCH. hOT VAPOR, amazing taste and throat hit. does get HOT chain vaping but doesnt hot boxing a cigarette? Uses standard 510 threads, you will need a 306 drip tip, the ones that come on them are kinda worthless. will update how long it lasts

quality does feel different and taste different, been using the SLB cartos- 510 and 901 lr, gotta say first day using the Boge Cartos and i can tell a difference, no filler taste, very similar to dripping with tons of vapor. if you havent tried the silver thread carto- YOU ARE MISSING OUT

WELL DUDE I DID THE SAME THING.... thats why i upgraded, fried both ego batterys (650 and 900mah)using a 2.0 LR atty....i have had my screwdriver now 6 months and have had 0 issues, all i use is LR cartos and attys. I felt i wasted $70 on my ego kit when i could of got a screwdriver same cost, and my replacement batterys are only $8 and i still havent needed a second. Electric stix should warranty the batterys for you, but buy a USB pass through to always be safe

i will recommend you a USB passthrough if you go either way, a battery failure could mean failure in your attempts to quit- they run between $10-$20 and run on 5v vs 3.7v. good luck

A LIGHT THAT USES YOUR BATTERY. the ego lights up just on the push button, BUY THE EGO for the long run. if you go w/ the 510 buy lots of extra batterys
