  1. Got Betty for the 2nd time, IT'S AWESOME! Picked up some Marilyn too and it's alright, but I seem to prefer the sweet grapefruit flavor of Betty.
  2. I'm definitely on the rx200 bandwagon. I love it because of the battery life, and the wide range of options of things you can do with it doesn't hurt even tho I'm not big on the temp control stuff (yet continue to get it to work with premade coils and usually regret it) and it fits the hand sooooooo well. I have a fuchai too and it fits almost as well as the rx200, but with only 2 batteries, I found myself pacing to keep from dying at work. The TC on it brings the fail tho. Way too cold. I have a snow wolf, and it's my house queen right now, I'm not terribly impressed with it. It is a nice functional box, does TC (better than the fuchai) and the fuchai seems to edge it out on battery life. I'm currently looking into getting a couple of cuboids. They are smaller, seem to be well constructed, and I'm a fan of bigger screens. Plus cheap and all the wattage you could want 150. (But I've seen it said that with a firmware upgrade it'll do 200w.)
  3. She doesn't really know. She doesn't follow all the devices or get into it as much as I do. She just wants something that works that will push more power. It took some convincing to get her off the subvod onto the kbox, and she loves it now. I've shown her the cuboid and she likes the looks, but she'll (and this sounds horrible but this is by her own choice) go with whatever I suggest the most. I like the cuboid, but don't want to rule anything else out. I know she's not big on the xcube2 (from the short time I had one) it was too big. While all of my current devices are 200w it's not required, I don't usually go over 75w, but like having the head room if I do find a need to go higher... But I could prolly get away with a 75-100w for her if there is something comparable and cheaper than the cuboid. The comparable kangers seem to be more expensive, and of course we'd keep the kbox she's got now so she'll have back ups, she's got a subtank nano, and mini, and the cleito, so it'd be nice for her to have something she can use the .2 cleito coils with. (kbox only does down to .5) I'll have to hit that link up and get more batteries too... lol I've got 8 now and if I get any more mods I'll have to get more.
  4. Having both the rx200 and the fuchai, the fuchai really isn't much smaller, it's just different shape, (if that makes sense) If you are looking for something smaller that uses 2 batteries and still kicks wattage, I'm looking at picking up a couple of cuboids. They are far cheaper (35~45 bux) and smaller, and as I understand it with firmware upgrade they'll do 200w too.
  5. Considering picking up a couple of cuboids, get the ol lady something with a little more juice than the kbox, she doesn't want to use the fuchai, or the snow wolf, and I won't let her use my rx200, (It's usually in my hands) but that cleito tank I got with the snow wolf will handle some wattage so I it's time... anyone got one? I'm struggling to find any faults with them based on the reviews, TC isn't a priority by any means, but it's nice if it works, but not a huge deal. (TC is a fickle beast, so much depends on the mod and they all seem to do it different,) I like the display, and the size seems to be a plus too. Pros or cons I may not have hit on? Thx.
  6. I source my juice locally. I did get the hawksauce from mtbakervapor.com it wasn't bad. My local source is big E's and I get pineapple yum yum, scarcasm, smurfsblood, and bi-polar, and Bain. Greek god or pineapple yum yum seem to be my go to's.
  7. Yeah I'm thinking it'll be a house queen with the velocity. Seriously considering getting a nickel build put in to see how that works, but I think the rx200 with the ability to change the tcr, will easily top it.
  8. So I traded off my xcube 2 and tfv4 for a snow wolf and clieto tank. I don't exactly regret it, but people never cease to amaze me. The lady I traded wanted to make sure my stuff was in "like new" condition like hers was. She didn't have any boxes or anything, I had all the boxes spares etc. The bottom of the snow wolf showed signs of use, scrapes as you would expect, the top has a discoloration of some sort, I've got to figure out how to do something about that. I did the trade anyhow cause the snow wolf seems to be hard to come by anymore. Anyhow, anyone else ever run one? I've found the wire sensing deal to be slow, I tried a ni200 coil on it, hoping it would work better than the rx200 and it didn't, but I'm starting to think it's geared more towards RDA's than tanks. Thoughts?
  9. It wouldn't hurt. The updates have made the menus easier to navigate, and easier shortcuts so to speak. Plus if you are into temp control, they updated some of the settings for the different wires. That being said, if you like it fine, it ain't broke. lol You can try the upgrade and roll it back to see which you prefer.
  10. I picked up a velocity RDA from my local shop ~30 bux... version 1 I think cause looking up version 2 they are like 125...
  11. Well I finally broke down and bought a single quad coil here locally. I got it and put it in thursday. It's saturday, and it's already going south. Any hits over 2 seconds give throat burn, and alter the taste. I was truly hoping that it was just the claptons, but apparently not. Additionally sad, it's not my primary tank, so it's not used as heavily as my 30mm triforce. Love it when it's working, but the coils just don't last. Got a good wicking on the RBA head, and still the same deal, not as restricted but muted flavor, and still getting burnt taste at low wattages.
  12. I've not see anyone mention updates, I'm running 3.0 on mine, have from the start, and love it. I've only been able to get temp control to work right on my rx (have a fuchai and xcube2) with my triforce and the ni200 coils, and to get it right I had to set the tcr in the 650-700 range. Stock mode it wouldn't get hot enough. I haven't played with the xcube enough to try to get temp control to work right. I did notice that battery life on the rx went down running temp control, being you have longer ramp up times I figure.
  13. Rip's video used against vaping... Already. Yup, damage done. This will give anti-vaping legislation traction. I definitely think he harmed the industry, and the general vaper... The effects aren't clear now, but I imagine when our idiot lawmakers get more involved, it'll be magnified.
  14. Additionally if you have a CDL you can not use that product and keep your CDL. An old friend used it, gave him wicked vivid nightmares, woke up getting ready to kick the crap out of his wife a couple times.
  15. Android app is sketchy, wants permissions for almost every aspect of your android device. I don't love it as much as I had hoped, but it's a capable box. Display is awful dim, changing settings is cumbersome, fire button is sketchy, I've already had to stooper glue one of the magnets back to the door, but it's not loose like most of the reviewers have noticed. I had a more detailed review hoping to be helpful to anyone considering it but the page doinked it. Maybe I took too long to type it up.
  16. So I got my smok x cube II today and put my smok tfv4 on it set it to 70watts and it kept telling me low atomizer, which I found strange as the coil reads out at .37 on the rx200 and fuchai. So I fumble with it a bit and it finally reads. Hit the fire button and it promptly smokes that coil. Acted like it hit it with all 180watts. Put it back on the fuchai and now it's ohming out at .71 and the coil is clearly shot. I would've thought smoke product with smoke product would rectify some of the issues. I guess I'm wrong.
  17. This arrived today along with ol lady's new sub tank mini.
  18. No the only horizontal that I know of for the tvf4 is via the rba deck. I'm going to try to re-wick it and see if it's different with a bit less cotton or something. I would be content if they would last a week and a half or so... I messaged Smok via facebook and whoever responded was apparently using some translation software or something, it was unintelligible.
  19. The only horizontal is the rba which has a far more restricted airflow. :( damn I might just have to get rid of it. I'll try something other than the Claptons and if I get the same lifespan, it's gone. Lol
  20. Yeah vertical. There is a big clump on it down towards the bottom, I pulled the bottom pin out so you can see thru the whole thing. I would wonder if it was something to do with the juice, but I'm running the same juice thru my triforce coils just fine. :dunno:
  21. This coil went in Sunday. The tfv4 is on my secondary rig so it doesn't see as much use even. Ugh.
  22. I just wonder how it's going to pan out for him, he seem to be the biggest vape youtuber by far.
  23. I have a rx200 and love it... My x cube 2 will be here tomorrow or friday. lol
  24. Results may vary. If I go over 75 watts on my tfv4 I get dry hits with their clapton coils. But I've been fighting crappy coils too. I've been using the Claptons but I'm going to order the quads next I think.
  25. Yeah kanthal is used in wattage mode not temp control. So far as I understand if temp control is only used on nickel, titanium, and stainless steel.
