  1. An ever shrinking savings account? Welcome Gregg! What's your setup like?
  2. I was not aware of the blog or the fact that his dad was in the watch list. That definielty changes my perspective a bit.
  3. This was an absolutely terrible event, and my prayers go out to the victims and their families. As to whether this was a terrorist attack, I'd like to see more information released. It seems, imo, like this guy may have been depressed or had some form of mental illness. Maybe he was talked into it by others with ties to terrorism. I just have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that he lived here for nearly 20 years, attended high school, college, got a degree, all for the long con. Whatever the case or motive, I agree whole-heartedly that it is ridiculous to restrict military personnel from carrying weapons in gun free zones. It's like having designated peeing areas in a public pool, and scares the hell out of me.
  4. Has anyone tried supernova by 9 south? I got half a bottle from someone at the vape shop, and still haven't decided whether or not I'm into it. It is a candy watermelon/ jolly rancher type flavor. VERY sweet, if that is what you're after. I think if I can get it dialed in to have a bit more bite, I would be able to vape it for longer than a few hours at a time.
  5. I was just thinking about this topic this morning. I imagine that there are sooo many good flavor combos out there. After breakfast today, I had a glass of chocolate milk with 80/20 vg/pg butter rum cupcake by authentic. Freaking delicious!
  6. I've been chasing around a nice warm inhale, with the flavor really developing as I exhale through my nose and mouth. So far, I'm leaning towards sweet juices.
  7. Great review! I'm loving mine so far.
  8. Call it a passion, then it is easier to justify!
  9. Yeah the more reading I'm doing, the more I'm inclined to think that I got spoiled right out of the gate.
  10. Today I learned that as soon as I buy something, I will most likely immediately begin researching other cool vaping stuff. It's like a never ending cycle.
  11. That sounds crappy. Wait, I'm a noob! I'll just see myself out lol. Most of the ones I've been a part of have post count and or forum time requirements. That way you know that the well established members will not welch on their end of the bargain. Also lowers the chances of the box "getting lost in the mail." Obviously this would exclude me, but I'm probably still going to follow along, if for no other reason than to read some good reviews.
  12. I'm guessing like a passaround box? Bunch of goodies in a box for participants to try, sometimes a take one/leave one type of deal. I've done a few of that type of thing on another forum I'm on. (Not vape related, don't worry.)
  13. from the little bit of experimenting I've done, I've sorta dialed in my sweet spot around 28w with the airflow at the most wide open setting. It gives some great flavor, and a really dense vapor. The only problem is that I end up hazing up a small room after 2-3 puffs.
  14. That is one good analogy. If you don't mind, I'm probably going to use that at some point. Yeah I guess I should've seem that coming. I think she just sold me based on her personal preference. Three guesses what she was vaping with? Lol.
  15. I have been using mainly sweet, dark juices so far, so I'm sure you're correct that that has something to do with it. Being a newb, I don't really have a frame of reference in terms of the whole high power vs lower power, I was mainly just going off of the suggested wattages card and kind of landing where it was tasty lol. Which is also a bit suprising, because I thought I was being a bit conservative. I'll have to try to fiddle around with some of the lower settings. Funny thing is, the girl at the vape shop recommended I start at 20w.
  16. Well, it's good to know that this isn't too out of the ordinary lol. I've been going at about a tank and a half a day, so it seems pretty on par with both of your experiences. Looks like that rba is going to have to start getting some use in!
  17. Hi guys. So I've been using my kanger subox for a few weeks now. The first head lasted about 2 weeks before I started to notice a subtle drop in flavor and vapor production. I tossed in a new head on Saturday, and today (about 5 days of vaping later) I am noticing a significant loss of flavor. What I'm wondering is if I ran into a dud, or is this par for the course for kanger coils? The head in question is labelled 0.5ohm, but is reading 0.6ohm on my box. I usually vape between 22-30 watts, depending on the cravings. I will admit that I have been chain vaping a bit this week, but I wasn't expecting this to die that quick. Thanks in advance for the help!
  18. Very good to know, cause I'm going to need all the help I can get lol.
  19. I'm definitely enjoying it. I like being able to dial in the wattage to the type of vape I'm after. So far, I'm thinking I like the .5ohm coils more than the 1.2ohm. I haven't tried the rba that it came with, yet. But I am pretty excited to get to building my own coils once I get a little Moe experience under my belt.
  20. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!
  21. Hi everybody! After doing quite a bit of lurking around this forum, I figured it was time for me to sign up and introduce myself. I was a pack-a-dayer for about ten years. After many failed attempts a quitting, I turned to vaping about two years ago. It was a real rough go for about six months before I gave up on it. In that time, I went through 3 egos, countless low end tanks, and a stock of juice that I was never satisfied with. I went back to the analogs for some time before I decided to give this another shot. This time, though, I am trying to do it right! I broke down and spent some cash on a much nicer setup, got some great tasting juice, and have been off to the races for the past few weeks. I've found that I'm much more satisfied after vaping with this stuff than I was with my previous setup, and it is really helping to keep the cig cravings at bay. The only problem is that I think this is going to end up turning into quite the hobby for me lol. I'm glad to have found a place to be able to talk vaping, and am really looking forward to asking some questions, contributing as much as I can, and learning a whole lot! Here's a pic of my current setup: kanger subox mini and some juice to get started
