  1. If it ain't broke, don't fix it lol. If you do decide to try out some others, the subtank mini is an awesome tank. I've also been really enjoying the crown by uwell.
  2. Hi and welcome! I think it would be nice to have an easy to use coil resistance calculator, as well as a tcr value table for temp control. I'm sure the diy juice guys that are new could benefit from a calculator for determining how much nicotine to add to get desired nic levels. You could also add common newbie questions like recommended wattage ranges for different coils with different vg/pg ratio juices. That all sounds like a lot of coding though lol.
  3. It really comes down to personal preference. If you're buying the triton new, it should have a couple of coils for you to try out. I'd recommend giving them a shot before deciding one way or the other.
  4. @GRLSNGR If you are enjoying the higher wattage range, I'd go with the .4ohm coils to start. You can always experiment with the others too. Just remember, as the resistance goes up, (.4 ohm, .6ohm, 1.0ohm) the wattage will have to come down. It isn't necessarily a bad thing, and I encourage you to try a ton of different settings. It looks like your box come with a charging cable, so you can charge a battery in there directly. For external chargers, the nitecore i2 is awesome! It was recommended to me some months back, and has definitely been a fantastic work horse. 2 battery slots, and they are available on Amazon for usually between 10-15 bucks.
  5. Wow your fast Tam! If you want to use this in temp control mode, you'll have to use ni200 coils. They are available for the triton tank. Pick up a couple of 18650 batteries, and you'll be good to go! Samsung 25r's have a great reputation for reliability and they're pretty darn cheap. If you do decide to get some nickel coils, only use them in temp control mode. If you go with standard coils (kanthal, ss) keep it to wattage mode on this box.
  6. Merry Christmas everyone! Stay safe and enjoy your holiday!
  7. Just got two bottles of PBFB from Fadora Vapor. I honestly wasn't expecting these to come in until after the holidays, so it was like an early Xmas present!
  8. Tam hit the nail on the head with everything. The only thing I have to add is about your inhale. When you're using a subohm setup, you generally want to do a direct to lung inhale. The best analogy I can think of is like when a doctor is listening to your lungs, asks you to take a breath, and you kind of inhale deep into your lungs. It's a little different than cigs, where you sort of puff then inhale. It should help cut down on the harshness some.
  9. I agree with Tam, you may want to try out upping your nic level until you find something that is satisfying. That, or you could look at lowering your coil resistance to get more oomph out of each drag. I'm also an "on again off again" vaper, at least recently, so I feel for you. It's not easy to do, but things that are worth it rarely are easy. Keep trying! You'll find that perfect setup somewhere along the line.
  10. I was going to recommend checking out the joytech vtc mini, but it sounds like you already pulled the trigger!
  11. Hello and welcome! With the .5 ohm coils on the subtank, I've found the sweet spot to be between 25-35w. It'll fire above that, but it isn't very, um, pleasant.
