Now that you have your tornado/eGo/riva/etc. you can direct drip. Did you get a regular 510 atty or the mega atty? Either way you can direct drip. You can have a drip tip but you don't need one, it is a preference. You can use the tip that came with the atty. You will just need to take it off when you drip then replace it. Some find that this is a little more trouble so they like the drip tip. I don't care one way or the other, I do both. Although, I have just ordered a couple of drip tips for my ego mega attys, should be interesting. I like all the ways you can vape and I have not settled on the right one yet, little ADD I guess. as my grandson says, ADD, I don't have AD.., oh look, there's a bunny.lol Good luck on your vaping journey and keep on vaping.

Well, I lied in my earlier post, I did order (shame on me) some more samples from sweet-vapes. This time I mean it, I will not...oh, who am I kidding, I will, I will, I will. I find out that I do need to blame something and when I get my new map tank I will probably blame it for something I buy. Bout the steeping, I find some juices I can use right from the start and some you do need to let sit for awhile. sometimes that is better sometimes, not so much. Just depends I guess. Hope you have found your Nirvana.

I see that the VT Store is out of stock on those cartos. Vapor Kings have them for $8.95 for the pack and they are Boge. Vapor Kings does a bulk rate on 510 attys but I don't know about the cartos. good luck in your search.

Welcome to the forum. There is a store somewhere in PA and one of the members here has gone there, I don't remember who, but they will come along soon and answer your question for sure. If you can't find a real store there are alot of online stores that have great turnaround times. Chris here at the Vapor Talk store carries what you would need and they have great customer service and are right there to help. Check the store and see if he has any of what you are looking for in stock and if so, you would get it in a couple of days. Good luck on your journey and keep on vaping.

I'm in agreement about Liberty Flights, the riva kit is about $30.00 for the basic and the more deluxe is a few dollars more. I have heard that it is just like the eGo and produces like the eGo. I have not experienced the riva but the eGo is great, I don't think you could go wrong with this pv. good luck on your search for your pv and good luck on your vaping journey.

I've been thinking about the possiblities of not being able to purchase any of the equipment for vaping. I think that my husband can make a mod. I have a few that he can look at and follow and the you-tube videos, I think that one of these days I will try to do all the diy that I have stocked up and I have a good many atomizers stock-piled away but I'm with you on the nic. What type of shelf life does nicotine have? If it's good, I think I'm going to buy a good supply and stock pile that away. Anyway, I hope that the powers that be learn that this is a great alternative to smoking. Well, I think they already know and the big guys are afraid that all that tobacco money will dry up when people find out there are other ways to quit besides patches, gum, etc. etc. I'm hoping that this is just me thinking the glass is half empty like I do about most things and we will continued to be able to go about just worrying about what juice I'm going to order or what new mod do I want to try. But in the meantime, I'm getting out some receipes and learning to "cook".

I just placed an order with sweet-vapes, I got all that were mentioned here on the forum and then a couple that I thought would be good. The problem now is going to be NOT ordering anything til I get some of this juice vaped. I have also ordered some diy stuff and haven't even gotten around to mixing because I'm too busy on line ordering other juice. So, for now, my card is locked up and I will not use it, I will not use it, I will not. . ., I will. . .I. . .Oh, never mind, I'm not smoking analogs so what the heck. I'm having fun.

Welcome to the forum. You will like the 510 it is a great product but, as everyone has said, the battery life is not good. Sometimes I didn't get but 45 minutes and if you don't have a couple of batteries charged and a couple charging you won't be vaping much. But, that being said, if you had your heart set on an e-cig that is somewhat like an analog you will be fine. I had a 901 and a 510 and loved them both but, had to give out to the longer battery life so I got an eGo. Love it. . . . There's so many ways you can use it, carts, cartos, tanks and map tanks, so many toys, so many choices. Good luck on your vaping journey.

Troop is right. Their US store is in Bradenton, FL. I ordered two lr tank attys a few days ago and got them yesterday. They were a little over $11.00 a piece. That's the cheapest I have seen. I ordered the extra attys since they were that cheap. The TW atty has lasted me longer than any other has. I have one that is still going strong and it's on it's 4th week. The price is just a little over the price of a joye 510lr or the 306lr. Try the US site for TW, I have had nothing but good service from them.

the eGo and the eGo T use two different types of attomizers, they can use the same battery. The eGo with a 510lr or a 306lr is great to drip with and I use the eGo T when I'm going somewhere and can't drip. You have two different effects with them. If you have an eGo kit you can buy the eGo T attys separately and you will need the tank also, comes in a pack of 5. That way you can have the best of both worlds.

Is it 1st and 2nd generation ego tank or ego. I think that the ego, first kit that was available is the 1st generation and the tank is the 2nd generation. Good be wrong but it makes sense with the evolution of the ego. If this isn't right someone please let me know.

PG gives you more flavor and VG gives you more vapor. The nic gives you the throat hit. I now have mine mixed at 50/50 so I can have the best of both worlds. Most all the vendors will mix 50/50, at least the ones I use. Good luck on finding that perfect vape.

I've got the mega atomizers and direct drip and I really like it. I have ordered a drip tip to go with it. Hope it comes soon.

Do you have the eGo that you have to click 5 times quickly to get it to turn on and 5 times again to turn it off? Just a thought.

You have a great unit in the eGo tank. I wish that had of been my first because I wouldn't have wasted so much money looking for the right thing. On the consumption of your nicotine, there are some studies, you can google them, that the nicotine in e-cigs does not enter your body the same way the analogs did. But I think that it is based on using an e-cig like an analog and just take 5-10 drags off of them. Question is, does it take the nic level you are on now to satisfy the craving of an analog? I'm at 24mg and have been since the start. I'm trying to go down but it is a hard road for me. Good luck.

I am so sorry to hear about this Erika. I know how hard it is to loose a "family member". I have lost a few and it isn't easy. I will pray for joy to replace sorry. The time you had with her is the memories you need to carry now.

Welcome to the forum. The eGo is the way to go, just as Chris said. Chris is right about the menthol too, try 18 - 24mgs to see what will satisfy your needs as a vaper not a smoker. As was stated above some of us thought we wanted a tobacco flavor and found out that was not what we are vaping on now. My juice of choice is coffee flavored and dessert flavored. The Vapor Talk store has a menthol called Mentha (sp) and if they are out try Kick Bass Vapor, they have one called Vape Placid. Supposed to be flavored just like a menthol cigarette. This ought to get you started. Good luck on your journey and don't look back.

I also was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 10 years ago. At that time I worked for attorneys and smoked. Smoked more if I was stressed. Well anyway that's a story in it's self. But I retired about 6 years ago and when I got a new doctor I didn't even list the fibromyalgia because it had not bothered me since retirement. I have now started having muscle aches and feel like I have the flu and sometimes so weak I don't even want to go to the kitchen, just sit in my chair with my laptop. Of course just symptoms of a flair up. I don't know when this started but it's been recently. I know that it has something to do with quitting smoking and starting to vape. It might be that my body is just getting rid of the poison it had in it for over 40 years, but I am going to the doctor on Tuesday to see if she can pinpoint something for me. If she says to quit vaping, I'll just find me another doctor. lol... Good luck finding out what is going on with your body.

Okay 7xloser I'm going to give you my 2 cents, sometimes I think it's two sense, but anyway here goes. You probably still have the factory primer in your atty. Have you used all of your new attys? If you have one that you haven't used try this. Take the atty and blow throw the little hole that touches the batter. Do this into a paper towel or napkin or whatever to catch the juice that will be coming from the atty. Blow on it until there is not juice. If you have juice add a few drops 4 or 5 to the atty. I don't know about the cartridges, I suppose you just make sure they are still very wet and take a few puffs, do not inhale, blow the vapor out and then you should be able to vape without the taste of the atty. You could have irritated your throat a little if you vaped in the factory primer. nasty tasting stuff. But anyway see if that helps, if it doesn't just come back on and tell the forum members what is happening again and maybe we can come up with some answers. Also, your nic might be too high for you. Just a thought. You'll get there soon and don't give up on vaping it is a process and at first it can be confusing but when you get it down you will find this is the best alternative to smoking you will have ever known.

20/80 sometimes. 50/50 other times. I started off with 100% pg and it didn't really like me, had some problems with it so I switched to 80% vg and that was sometimes an addy clogger so now I'm at 50/50. So to answer your question jrock, 50/50.

Now this is conjecture but when I was chewing nicorette gum I experienced terrible heart burn. I'm wondering if the people who make the gum put pepper in it. I understand (mabye wrongly) that some juice makers put pepper in their juices for the throat hit. Just a thought.
