Contratulations to you. What an accomplishment. I wish I could say 0 nic but still at 24mg But, that's still not smoking analogs. I can't wait until I can post that 0. Congrats again.

Hi again ray, why yes it is. The eGO is a great battery depending on the mah rating you can have anywhere between 4 and 10-12 hours of vaping pleasure. It's a great device and won't let you down.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the headsup.
-
You are right about Vapor Kings, they are great vendors. Always have been very quick to respond and very friendly and professional. Pretty good prices too.
-
Erika, go to her youtube site, Shanb. She is making mods and drip tips. I don't think she is heavy into production because it is just her from what I can tell. Just a thought. It could be ShanB - it's shannon burkholder (or something like that)

Tags, do they taste the same on all voltages, high and low? There is definately a flavor change on a lot of juices from the change in voltage. Some can taste better at lower volts and some at higher and some hold up with both. Just a thought

Lori, so sorry to hear about your loss, bless your heart. That is such terrible news. Our hearts go out to you and praying that you have a safe trip and peace will surround you. I think that some people in here have flown with their e-cigs and have had no trouble.

Welcome to the VT forum. You have come to the right place for q and a. You can look up the clearomizer on Clouds of Vapor. From what I can tell it is a cartomizer that is clear and holds a little more juice than the regular cartomizer. The clearomizer also does not have the filling that a regular cartomizer has it has a long wick that sends the warmed liquid to the mouthpiece. It seems that they are either very popular or not much at all because none of the vendors that advertise them have them in stock, a few for other sizes but not the 510. I think that at this time the map tank has taken over the market in the want catagory. Holds more liquid and some say a very satisfying vape. I have a mini-tank ordered so I can speak from a little experience later on this week. The tank is not as "pretty" as the clearomizer IMO. There are a lot of youtube videos reviewing the clearomizers and the map tanks. Just look at them and I think that you will get the jest of what it is all about. Hope this helped a little. Good luck on your vaping journey.

Welcome rok to the Vapor Talk Forum. ..You can see that you have come to the right place. We all have our opinions and if you ask, we give. My only concern with someone just starting out is getting a kit that is just a little to weak (as in battery life) for the amount they really will be vaping. Some folks say that they will only use the pv once and a while, others while going out, well let me tell you, once you get the hang of vaping you will want to be doing it all the time. With that said, what you need is the eGO batteries and 510 regular or low res atomizers, or 306 regular or low res. The Vapor Talk Store is the place to get your vaping devices. Chris has the eGo kits in and the passthrough. He has great customer service and great devices. The eGO will keep a charge for about 4 to 6 hours depending on what size battery and how much you vape. It is a great device for anyone starting out. It's very simple to use. If you would like to use cartomizers, they are all in one, cartridge and atomizer and they are easy to fill using methods you can find in instructional videos on you tube and on this forum. At this time the VT store does not have the cartos you need and I would suggest Vapor Kings, good vendor. This is just my opinion and I sometimes think I have a million of them. Also with the juice you will need, again, the VT store. Chris has great juices. If you can't see what you like there, there are numerous vendors that have great juice and at reasonable prices. I have repeated some of what was said above but these are just my opinions. Good luck on your hunt and on your vaping journey.

Good review egoluvr, she really does have some good juices doesn't she?

A lot of vendors here sell the Royal Smoker ceramic cartos but I don't see any of them having the clearomizers in stock. They have a place for them at Clouds of Vapor but it says underneath the picture [notify me], so looks like they are out. You best chance is to put your name on the list for a map tank at Clouds of Vapor, they will email you when they are in. You have to act fast, like within minutes of the receipt of your email or they will be all gone. Most angry pirate comes on tiny chat ever so often. I got a mini-map ordered and it has shipped. That was all that I could get, have not even gotten an email about the larger map tank. But anyway we'll see how that goes. Hope this helped.

Yep, they are. The tornado is a brand name for a wicked product and the eGo is a joye product but both are made by joye and they are the same. There are a lot of similar products out there but I think that the tornado and the eGo are the only ones that are made by the same company.

Hi socialfisher. The question you are asking is it about the map tank mod or just a mod in general? The map tank is a "cartomizer" that will hold a lot more liquid than a regular cartomizer, it has been modified to hold the juice. You can use the map tank on your eGo or any other similar device, I think 3.7 volts or higher. I don't know of any other map tank type carto but there are a good many mods out there that are 3.7 volts.

I'll Never Buy A Map Tank From Clouds Of Vapor!
cheshyl replied to Schizophretard's topic in e Cigarette Reviews
Oh Dayvape, I wish I haven't of seen your post. I just ordered my map tank but I had to get the mini. If you hare having that trouble and I see that you are vaping a vv could you tell me at what voltage you are vaping? I have an eGo, so is it good for a 3.7? I guess I got caught up in all the hype about the map tank. I don't know now if I'm even going to use it. I'll just stick with my direct dripping and the occasional eGo tank. Phooey -
Hi again. did you get an eGo? or a 510? But either way you will have a 510 connection. The eGo is a 650 mah battery, or higher. It runs on 3.7 volts. If you use a 510 low resistance atomizer on en eGo the atomizer burns hotter so it is like you are vaping a 5 volt. The vaper is greater, the throat hit is stronger and to me the taste is stronger. Yes, on the 510 low resistance atty you will use them up faster than a normal 510 atty. The burning hotter will get it. I have some blown attys but for the most part I have kept them going for about 4 weeks a piece. You need to keep them clean, just watch some of the you tube videos of how to clean your 510 attys. I just blow them out. Take the atty and a paper towel, place the towel at one end of the large end of the atty and blow through the tiny hole that connects to the battery, you will clean out all the juice junk that has accumulated over your dripping time. I try to blow my out at night before I go to bed. I have tried the cleaning methods of soaking in alcohol, boiling water and such but find I have had no trouble with this method I use. You asked about frequent replacement of parts. The atty is the one you will need to replace way before the battery, in 5 months I have two batteries that have gone on me, these were not original joye eGo batters, so I figured, my bad. Like I said, I don't know when an eGo battery will go on you but you will notice after a while that it will not properly take a charge and the stronger the battery the better vape. I don't really know about the cartomizers, these are cartridges and atomizers combined. You will have to watch some videos on these as well. There are different methods of filling cartomizers and it is important to know just how to do it. A lot of people like the cartomizers and you can get them in a low resistance too. A lot of people like to direct drip onto their atomizer. The direct dripping is dripping on your atomizer about 2 or 3 drops every 4 to 5 vapes. You never want either one to get dry and you can tell really soon if one or the other is dry because you will get a terrible, horrible taste in your mouth and it will burn your throat.Just be sure you keep your atty or carto wet and don't over fill because that's another thing in its self. It sounds a lot more confusing than it really is. Just get your feet wet and look at the videos and ask questions, that's what we all had to do. This is not hard and before you know it it will become second nature to you. If you are using an eGo the process will be less because you will not be charging your battery as often as you will your 510. The 510 will be about 45 to 60 minutes of vaping time (if that) and the eGo is about 4 hours (for me, because I vape all the time). You have a bunch of choice out there and you will have to come up with the right combo for you. The eGo is the best thing to start out on and when you feel that you will need a higher voltage pv there are all kinds of mods out there to get you where you want to be. Good luck, just think about this as being a journey, it's all that you will make it. Hope this helps a little. Brian said it all in a lot few words. lol. Just the woman in my I guess.

Hi again bird, I can tell you that you probably will not save any money the first couple of months, you will probably break even, I went above and beyond what I spent for analogs. I have officially declared that vaping is my hobby not a substitute for anything and that makes me feel, in my mind, that it is perfectly all right to spend what I wish for this "hobby" of mine. I have gone completely and unashameably wild regarding all things of this vaping world. eGos, eGo batteries, 510lr attys, 306lr attys, eGo tanks and have ordered tanks from totally wicked. I have just ordered a map tank and I'm going to see what it has in store for me. All the reviews make me think I will like it. The next thing I'm going to investigate is a box mod. Quite a few folks on this forum say they love them, so of course I think I need one. I think this is very compulsive and obsessive but hey, I'm not smoking. I vape a good bit of organic coffee from vaperite, I have a good many juices from Kick Bass Vapor and have ordered some from sweet-vapes. I haven't gotten the sweet vapes yet so I am relying on the reports from this forum on the taste of these juices. I have also ordered from the Vapor Talk Store and had their caramel machiato (sp) and it is a pretty good vape for me also. I guess I like heavy vapes, like the dessert vapes and the coffee vapes because I don't really like the fruity flavors very much. I was told by someone on this forum that I needed to try white zinfendal from Word-Up, but I haven't made that order yet. She said it was her all time favorite vape. I also used to order 100% vg and enjoyed all the vapor it produced but the flavor was not what I wanted it to be so I now order my stuff 50/50. Gives me the best of both worlds. So welcome to this strange seductive world of vaping. the first thing you need to learn is you always need backups. Battery backups, atty backups, juice backups, charger backups. Then there are the extras that you might want, which you can curtail that to a degree. I haven't had a battery die on me yet and I have been at this for close to 5 months. I have had a few attys to die, but that is expected. You will get a few bad in with the good. You asked about lasting power and the devices, well as I stated I don't know the battery life of the batteries I have because none have died. The attys are different, you will get some that are dead on arrival and you can send those back because most vendors will guarantee them if they are doa. But, in the five months I have lost about 6 attys so I don't think that is too bad. Remember too that a lot of the folks here like the cartomizers, another beast inandof itself. I have tried the cartos but I seem to like the direct dripping method the most. eGo/Tornado batt, 510lr or a 306lr, drip tip and my juice, couldn't be much better in my opinion. Okay, I have now gone around in so many circles that you are thoroughly confused. But maybe you can gleen something out of this tangled mess of information to be helpful to you in some way. But please don't blame me for the headache you will get after readig this post, okay? lol

Welcome RaXavier, the difference between the vg and pg is that vg gives more vapor and is has a sweeter taste and pg is more taste of the juice and throat hit. Hope this helps.

Good review Morfeeus. I'm in agreement with you about KBV. They do mix good juices. I've tried all of those and monkey bread is my favorite out of those four.

Sharon's A Vip! Quick Hold Her Down
cheshyl replied to egoluvr's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
Congrats to you Sharon. VIP in such a short time. WOW -
Sorry I don't mean to butt in but after reading this thread I find some of the comments very harsh. Opinions are, well, opinions. They don't need to be stated in such a negative and pointed way. This is a very friendly forum and we as members are opinionated but cordial. Just saying.

Hi birdie, the Tornado/ego has quite a few batteries 650, 900, 1000 mah (I think now there are even 1300 mah batteries) there is a size difference from the 650 to the 1000 and the 1000 is longer but I use a 1000 mah battery with a tw tank or ego tank and it doesn't seem long to me and I like the thought of not running out of battery life. The atty with the long battery does look big I guess because my grandchildren call it "cheshyl's magic marker", it does look a lot like a marks alot. Also, I like the tank system, it's good to travel with because I direct drip usually and you can't do that very well while traveling. It's easy to fill and quite simple to use. Also right now Totally Wicked has a sale on the lr tank atomizers for $11.04 (I think), that makes them just a few dollars more than a regular 510 or 306. Just thought I would throw that in.
-
Hi again bird. . .You can always use your credit at TW for atomizers and the like. They are expensive but when they have sales they are great. It depends on your credit there maybe you can just hold on to it and use it when there is a sale. But about the juice, you wanted to know about the different kinds and could you like them. Well, I for one, thought I couldn't do anything but tobacco. I ordered a lot of tobacco juice and on a whim I ordered some coffee e-liquid. When I first tasted the coffee, I knew that was for me and the tobacco wasn't even in the ball park. I then ventured out to other juices, mostly dessert juices, strawberry shortcake, blueberry cheesecake, etc. I found that I like these too. I found a couple of good, cheap vendors and have ordered samples from them and most of them are coffee types and dessert types. I don't really like the fruit juices and at this point I don't like tobacco at all. Try the Vapor Talk Store for some juices, they have a sampler packs so that would be a really good choice to see what you would like. I think almost all would agree that they came into vaping thinking it was the tobacco they wanted but found out it was not because you cannot replicate the taste of burning tobacco, chemicals and paper. Good luck with your vaping and keep on this exciting journey.

Difference Between Ego-T Attys Generations
cheshyl replied to bobby89's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I was thinking that the 1st generation is the ego, the 2nd is the tank and the 3rd is the low resitance, just my thoughts. -
Yep you can use 510 attys on the tornado battery, the tip is the blank cartridge that comes on your tornado. . .First, blow out the atty from the end you screw into the battery (to get the factory primer out of it), then take your juice (hope you have juice), and drop about 4 or 5 drops in onto the bridge of the atty, put the blank cartridge back on the atty and take a few puffs without inhaling, just blowing the vapor out, then you can take a real long vape on your e-cig. At that time you shouldn't have any of the factory primer taste. Then about every 4 or 5 inhales you will probably need to top off with 2 or 3 drops on your atty. Then it is inhale, drip, repeat. It gets second nature after a while. You don't even think about topping off you will automatically do it, sometimes you will forget and you will get a nasty taste in your mouth and that will indicate that you are letting your atty get too dry, which is not a good thing. Just keep your atty wet and you will be in vaping heaven. I hope others will give you some more adivce I'm sure I forgot something. Like I said, it will become second nature after a while
-
Funny one Chris. Now that is a good argument for the eGo for the first e-cig. It would be really hard to flick that thing out of a window. I think that you would notice.
