Beats me. I got nothing more, but maybe someone else does. Guess when you chain vape you will have to use a Subtank Mini.
-
Do they have vertical or horizontal coils?
-
Maybe its the location of the coil, might be too close to the side of the tank. maybe not enough room under or above the coil. maybe the leads are too long, and are getting hot. Could be lots of reasons. The subtank mini has a vertical coil, maybe the air going through the middle of the coil keeps it cooler.
-
The airflow cools the coil but so does the juice, maybe the juice isn't flowing fast enough.

I'm satisfied where I'm at right now, 3/4 of the time I use a KPT at 9watts. I will lower my nic from 8mg down to 6mg or maybe 4mg but other than that I'm good. Sometimes I use a evod battery with a T3.
-
glass-breakdown.bmp Looks like a KPT2
-
I have both T3 and protank coils, the only difference I can see is the protank coils have a 10mm skirt, and the T3 has a 9mm skirt, when I say skirt I mean the round part the o-ring seats against, I have used the T3 coil in a protank but the protank coil will not work in the T3. The threads are the same. The vapor shark replacement parts look identical to the KPT2 parts, its probably just a clone of the KPT2 in my opinion.

Sounds like you plan on breaking the glass a lot. You should be set for awhile, if and when you decide to use the RBA there's lots of people here that can help you if you need it.

I got carried away after I bought my first one. I got another one than another one than two more tanks. Got one kit I haven't even opened yet. (preparing for the ecig ban)
-
Tam is right about that, haven't used a standard coil since I bought my first subtank mini. At $3+ per coil you will save a lot of money too.

I don't like the drip tip that comes with the subtank mini either, pretty much any 510 drip tip will work, I'm using drip tips off a KPT2 mini looks good and feels good. Also the drip tip from a T3s-D works pretty good.

You didn't say what ohm coil you are using, it is also possible your wick might not be wicking fast enough using a high VG mix. At the moment I'm using a high VG mix 80% in a subtank mini with a .6 coil and running 12 watts, and no harsh taste or burnt flavor.

What is the best 18650 battery available?
FXRich replied to JoeyForte's topic in Batteries and Chargers
A subox mini won't fire below .3 ohms, that means at 50 watts it will only draw about 13 amps. No need for a battery above 20 amp rating anyway. Kid I know got a 150 watt box mod, he said when he turned it up to 150 watts with a .5 coil he burned his lips and mouth, he thought the more watts the bigger the cloud, I guess he found out different. I only have one battery rated above 20 amps, and that is a Aspire 40 amp 1800mah, don't know if the rating is accurate or not, but it doesn't matter because I don't need anything over 20 amps. A protected 18650 is longer than a unprotected battery and is too long for a Kanger Subox mini -
None of my Subtank minis have the stock drip tip on them, I switch them between my KPT tanks, they seem to fit really good. I have 1600 feet of 1/2 inch round Delrin that I have no use for, since the job I ordered it for canceled on me, been thinking about loading up the bar feeder and making drip tips. Darn fat fingers I meant 160 feet.

Best way to find out is go down to your local B&M and buy a Arctic coil and see if it fits, or possibly they might know.

Some juices crackle and pop more than others.
-
That's why most of the people I know have more than 1 tank. Sometimes when you mix flavors one flavor might mute the other flavor, or maybe the two flavors mixed together will taste like dirty socks. (not that I know what dirty socks taste like) In a hurry If you want to you can just rinse the tank out with hot water, and put a new coil in. any water left in the tank will mix with the juice and thin the juice a little, but shouldn't change the flavor of the new juice.

When you read the ingredient list on a food product it sometimes can be quite long, because they have to list pretty much all the ingredients, but vape juice isn't a food product so they don't have to list much, until the FDA starts to regulate it they won't list much except PG VG and Nic.
-
That's one reason I DIY my juices, I know exactly what goes in them, I might not know exactly what's in the flavoring but I buy mine from Flavor West and they have a section that lists everything in the flavor in PDF format.

I'm waiting for Kanger to come out with a TC, It seems to me Kanger spends more time on R&D before marketing a product, and they usually get it right. Took them awhile to come out with a subtank, but when they did it is a good one.
-
Would it be possible to double the lower leg and twist it together, it would reduce the resistance in the lower leg but might mess with the TC.

If count Dracula vaped it might be worthwhile asking him for his recipe, I DIY but never occurred to me to make a blood flavor. I really don't even know what blood tastes like.

Weird seemingly unique "Same flavour" topic
FXRich replied to sugarglidezz's topic in New Vapers Forum
None of your gear looks familiar to me so I can't be much help, but there are times when flavors seem off taste to me, so I switch flavors for a few hours and it seems to help get my taste buds working again. Some flavors require more heat than others, and some need less.- 11 replies
