  1. They probably mix it in large batches, and don't do a good job of mixing it. Just my opinion, but more likely than not that is what happens.
  2. When you buy new coils please remember if you get the coils with Ni200 coils you should use TC mode, if you get the coils using Nichrome coils you should use wattage mode. The Nichrome coils might be cheaper.
  3. I agree with the Muffin Man, the subtank mini is a very versatile tank. I am currently using 4 of them, I have to use different colored O-rings to know what flavors are what. The stock coils are easy to get, and the RBA is easy to build.
  4. I have been vaping for over 2 years now, and am just going to try out TC once my mod gets here. I may not like it, and I might like it, don't know yet. In the past year TC has come a long way, but still it requires more knowledge than what it takes to use a Evod, or a KPT. Maybe next year it may be more user friendly. Right now there is just too many settings for a beginner vaper.
  5. Take it apart and clean the circuit board with contact cleaner or a good electronic cleaner. Other than that I don't know what to tell you.
  6. Whatever you do, don't let a salesman at a local vape shop talk you into a TC mod. Too many people get talked into a TC mod and end up frustrated when they can't use it. Ask for something that is very user friendly.
  7. If your temp is set to 300c that translates to 570f, which is probably too hot. 188c = 370f and 232c =450f You should be able to switch your mod from Celsius to Fahrenheit if not run it between 188C and 232C and you should be OK.
  8. You may smell like the flavor you are vaping but you will not smell like cigarettes. When you vape you don't burn anything and you don't create smoke you create vapor.
  9. The only pass through that I have is a 1000mAh evod battery that has a charging plug in the base, I have never used it that way but its supposed to work, and the charging cord isn't more than 2 feet long.
  10. Yes I forgot the ohm meter, if you use a multimeter remember to check the resistance of the leads, this is easy to do just touch the probes together for a few seconds, mine have a 0.3 ohm resistance.
  11. Get yourself a coil jig, buy some wire, and check out some of the posts on VT. First you have to know what you want as far as coils go, and start from there.
  12. The Davide base and the KPT2 base are interchangeable, The only reason I know is because I have switched them, and yes they are a little bit different. One day I was cleaning my tanks and after I had them reassembled I noticed my Davide mini had a dark base, and the KPT2 mini had a chrome base, but they both worked fine. You never know what the Chinese will do if they run low on parts.
  13. Makes sense, I thought maybe like some people you don't like dressing. A turkey in the summer means lots of turkey sandwiches.
  14. Why no dressing? turkey without dressing isn't turkey
  15. We are doing something different this year, she found a recipe on the internet on how to cook a turkey breast in the crockpot. I guess all you do is put the dressing in the bottom of the crockpot, put the turkey on top of it, cook on high for 1 hour then on low for 6 more hours. Hope it works like its supposed to, if it don't I'll have to fill up on pie. BTW hope everybody has a good Thanksgiving
  16. If she is running in watt mode 40 watts is too high, if she is running in TC she may have her temp set too high. Hope she isn't using a Ni200 coil in watt mode.
  17. Organic cannot contain PG because PG is produced from petroleum, which means it has alcohol and water based flavor. Speaking from experience when a non PG flavor is used you have to reduce the wattage. I have a couple of flavors that are non PG and can't go over 10 watts or they are harsh. The non PG flavors I have contain 45% alcohol
  18. what coil are you using and what is your watts set at? If I remember right you have a NEBOX.
  19. I know a vaper that uses 16mg nic in a subtank mini with a .5 coil, its all a mater of personal taste and need, we are not all the same.

    Nano RBA

Look like the first version no holes in the sides.

    Nano RBA

If anyone may be interested Slowtech (Fastech) has Nano RBA heads. They look like the first subtank RBA heads but are 12.5mm and not 13.5mm. 5 of them for $12.62 is not bad, I ordered some. In a few months when I get them I can let everybody know about the quality, and if they are a PITA to build.
  22. I ordered 26g, and 28g Ti wire and a roll of 30g Ni200 wire, and a roll of 28g SS 316L wire. I will find out what works for me. Don't think I'll try the SS with TC but I want to see how it compares to Kanthal
  23. The local health food store sells organic VG, I can't tell the difference between that and the VG I get from Heartland Vapes, I think the difference is the same as the difference between food grade PG and pharmaceutical grade PG, the certificate.
  24. Thinking back there were some months that I didn't spend anything on vape gear or juice. DIY does save a lot on juice. This month I stocked up on VG and flavors, and bought a couple of mods, and some 18650s. Looking in my stash box I have a lot of unopened stuff including 2 subtank minis, and I don't want to count the KPT2 tanks and KPT minis. Trouble is when I order a mod I order tanks to go with it and than just use the tanks I have. Maybe I do have shinyitus. But at least I can breath now without coughing up a lung.
